| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol Shouta. That death felt random Bodies are dropping like flies this episode. I find it hilarious tbh because of how messy it is. The emotions expressed from the episode didnt' feel impactful as I can't find any of the characters memorable. I also can't help but laugh at the scene with the computer mouse and the hand. |

| So many people died in this episode for doing anything unnecessary like blocking the King or crying. Before Yousuke died, he was able to send information to Nobuaki about the previous King's Game in a village called Yonaki. His death was just too funny to take seriously as well as any of the deaths really. |

| I've been giving this series the benefit of the doubt up to now but it's just gotten more ridiculous and unbelievable. Most of all the drama just isn't too impactful. A shame because I really like the premise. Under a good writer this could have been really engaging. |

| No focus at all this week on the present game. I'm sounding like a broken record at this point but they should have just done the first one only instead of trying to kill two birds with one stone. There were a lot of deaths in this episode, but they're very difficult to take seriously, and they lack impact since we barely know or got a chance to connect with these characters. | At first I was surprised because there was no way Kaori (who was in her home when Nobuaki was talking with her after Yousuke's death) would be the one who knocked Nobuaki, but then the end, when the shadowy figure picks Nobuaki's phone, then I got relieved, because there was no way the show could be THAT stupid to have teleporting characters (unless some time passed since the conversation between Nobuaki and Kaori and the scene when he gets attacked). Is curious too how it looks like everything regarding the Ousama Game started in a... lost village :^) |

| More people I don't care about getting killed for incredibly stupid reasons, yay... Ria came back and tased Nobuaki for no clear reason, I guess that's good. She's my new favorite character for that, but then the show immediately defiled her, that was really gross. If this wasn't so comically bad I don't think I would be able to sit through it. |

| How the fuck would he know that the people who died got a character each? There was literally no reason for him to know that. It just served a purpose of the MC being like: "o shit whaddup it really is like that" again. This show is just such a mess. And I feel really bad because you can tell that they tried and I'm usually a sucker for trashy murder elimination but it's just...ugh. It has Pile in it though so I'm continuing huehuehue |

| A bunch of throwaway characters dying [mostly offscreen] to fuel the edge engine (including the puffed up lookalike of Mendou Shuutarou) through more prisoner's dilemma bullshit, more stipulations made purposedly vague to trick the players into transgression, some plot development coming out of the blue as Yuusuke not Urameshi seemingly learnt how to google in the meantime (besides, we were never shown how Emo kun's visit went to that other abandoned village)... The good old daily grind in this trainwreck. |

| Kind of regretting reading the prequel manga now. If I'd known they'd adapt it all I would have waited. But on the plus side since I read it only a few weeks ago and it's still fresh in my mind, I can fast forward through these flashback episodes. |
| I still don't get why Ria is claiming she is the King. I know, I know, she is at that age when she wants attention she doesn't get in home...but anyway. This anime is so bad that even experienced seiyuus are sounding bad, I guess they gave up too. The quality drop in this episode is palpable! I mean, it was never good to begin with, but this episode was ugly af lol I love how Yusuke is typing in the computer but the screen is just showing his wallpaper. Great hacker skills! He is so fast we can't even see it! Police is also giving zero fucks about all these teenagers dying in crazy ways. I mean, I understand is less people in the world but that is your job and all lol ARE YOU KIDDING ME THAT ONE OF THE RULES IS NOT RUNNING FROM THE GAME AND THEY BLOCKED THE MESSAGES? Now I just watching this trainwreck because I want to know what is going to happen in the present storyline, because, maaaaaaaaaan, this sucks :( |

Like other people mentioned, there was zero focus on the present. Like, why? At least the first four episodes showed what was going on in the present, even if they were brief. |
| What's the point of doing a flashback if there's only one line of dialogue? Why is most of the screen-time so far being dedicated to a flashback? Most importantly, why did people even bother producing this garbage? Probably dropping this in the near future. |
