Around a brand new year and we get some noodles for food. Not as tasty as some of the other food imo though.. Just the usual stuff with friends hanging out although a few faces here and there made me giggle:  |

| Despite what she says, it's obvious, especially to Kirin, that Ryou misses her mother. It was a little rude of Kirin to read that letter, though I'm going to partly blame Kirin's mother for fanning the flames of curiosity regarding what Ryou's parents do...Kirin, I'm fairly sure what you're thinking is wrong... Apparently Shiina passed her exam...it took a lot of effort for the jealous Kirin to congratulate her :) Hopefully all that luck rubs off on Ryou and Kirin! (Edit, after watching the subs) はずかしい! (embarrassing) That letter *was* for Kirin... |

| I can't study because the exam monster is distracting me. Sending Japanese food to Ryou again. Sort of fun to see Kirin in bodyguard mode. Now I'm interesting in Ryou's parents' job. The wisdom of Shiina! The "good luck" aura to cook xD, seems like a curse in its own way. |

| I really wonder what kind of profession Ryou's parents have, considering a whole city would cease to function if they quit and they're supposedly two of the most important people in the world. O.o Kirin's imagination of how Ryou would've turned out with bodyguard and her prompt at becoming one was priceless!  She looks cool though! Best girl Shiina made the best wish with a deep meaning. Being rich indeed encompasses everything that makes you successful. Some may call it being greedy, but I say it's more like progressive thinking. Kirin disregarding her cheap pride for some of that cutlet sandwich was pretty funny! I don't blame her though. It's Tsuyuko-san's cooking after all. So it seems the secret to cutlet sandwich is "gambare" aura. Shiina chanting it for her friends at the end was hilarious though! XD Good episode. Damn, this show is ending already? I really hope for a second season announcement soon! |

| I would think that Ryou's parents must be leaders of a very powerful corporation of some kind, requiring them to constantly travel around the globe to expand their business. I doubt we'll ever know what their job is though... Kirin gets cuter the more jealous she gets. Shiina teased Kirin brilliantly when she tried to say congratulations to her! XD Let's hope the 'Good Luck' aura doesn't become a curse for Kirin and Ryou as they take their exams. |

| I expected a bit more from the noodle scenes. Although the dish did look very good. Bacon, noodles, runny egg, doesn't get better than that. Kirin x Shiina Oh how I love Shiina this episode. Teasing Kirin, "Oh, I can't hear you". The sandwiches looked simple yet delicious. Bread, cabbage, meat, sauce, and the secret ingredient, Good Luck. Ryou's jobs must be very important. They are probably ambassadors or maybe political figures. |

| Sweet and funny episode, especially the second half. Kirin looks cool as a bodyguard. I´m still wondering about the job Ryou´s parents. Shiina, you truly are awesome. What a deep meaning wish. | It's like we got two episodes in one this week :D Great as usual! Beautiful backgrounds as always this episode Lol when Ryou said she would skip eating if she had to, to study HA. Ryou is such a good daughter, it sucks that she's so lonely and separated from her parents. Good thing she has Kirin and her amazing instant ramen cooking skills. It was pretty funny to hear Kirin stomping when she was mad at Shiina, it has no stomping effect because of her feet sound effect xD OMG imagine they all get into the same school and Kirin moves in with Ryou for season 2??? |

| I so want to know the jobs of Ryou's parents. They sound so important. Important to Ryou at least. Congratulations to Shiina for getting in to Kirin and Ryou's suggested college. I hope that sandwich really does give them good luck from Shiina. |

| I like how Ryou got sassy as she received the package, she was cute. And it was nice to see Yuki at the preview song. I hope she will be given more screen time, though there's just one episode left so here's hoping for a second season. |

| Kirin's mind works really interesingly. I love how Kirin has been cooking a lot lately. Shiina prays like me lol. Man this episode was excellent. Jumped score to 9/10, this anime is super-underrated. |

| [caffeine] late. Quite a decent episode. Ryou and Kirin are both studying for the entrance exams...while Shiina already passed because of the referral enrollment. That was a very cute moe chibi Kirin bodyguard at scene 11:28. One thing that caught my attention is the poster: "Now Hiring: Shrine Maidens. Become a classy lady!" It makes me really wonder how much/low Japan pays those Shrine Maidens and what are the qualifications? a legit "maiden"??? REALLY!? One more gluttony episode to go. |

Narratively while not changing the characters in the same field is fun, however you can not say the same drawings and animations a bit feeble. | I share Shiina's viewpoint on exams. It was pretty cute seeing her wish her friends good luck at the train station. I must say, though, that those cutlet sandwiches look delicious! My taste in food is quite simple so I feel like this one in particular I'd like very much. |

| Two more adorable stories as the girls prepare for exams. First Kirin attempts to be Ryou's bodyguard and learn more about her parents. Later Shiina learns the importance of giving and receiving encouragement from others. |
| Great episode! Shame there was no Yuki, but at least Shiina was here today :) Lol i really have to wonder what kind of work Ryou's parents are. And Tokyo would stop working? They're probably working on some energy related or power related for the country. Still being able to hire bodyguards? They must be rich as hell :O Lol Kirin being a bodyguard! complete with a gun and transmitter :) That bear eating the ramen is so Kawaii!! I just had Ramen last night and wow it's delicious as hell. I can eat 2-3 more! I need to go back to that Japanese restaurant soon :) Ryou's Mother is so caring!! She's voiced by Mamiko Noto so wasn't surprise how gentle she sounds ^^ Was really surprised with how Shiina was acting in this episode. Like she was cold and very forwarding. But i guess she just wants everyone to do their best in their own way. So maybe that's why she didn't invite them on New Year's Eve and other events. Tsuyuko secretly helping Shiina! In the end Shiina helped them either way. "Ganbarre Aura!" Last episode!! T__T I Really want more episodes so please season 2!! At least after i finished this i'll be jumping to Shokugeki no Souma soon. |
