Fukutomi is awesome, no joke. His determination to win with his team is on whole new level this episode. And as I had thought, the momentum of the episode was great too.
Midousuji is still slightly ahead of them but I hope he gets into his place soon.

Midousuji might be creepy, but that 180° turn was amazing! So steep, his pedals were touching the road while his chin was bleeding! Only he could pull off something like this!
Imaizumi and Shinkai were pretty awesome too; creating a solid lead for their aces.
Nice rivalry race between Kinjou and Juichi. They're always neck-and-neck and it's good to watch them bond over it while on the road.
Midousuji's monologues when he was being called creepy was pretty funny.
That reckless riding style, that saliva dropping snake tongue, that continuous teeth biting.. Midousuji is a creepy yet awesome guy!
Great episode! Makishima's kitchen segment with him making spider toast was hilarious!

Anyways Kinjou toke of his sunglasses, then you know he's like super serious, Midosuji just you wait!
Yowapeda is like the Dragon Ball of sports anime: it takes 3 episodes to cover 3km (or 4, can;t remember).
But that was some pretty damn awesome episode. But I want some more Toudou though~
Ugh... two episodes in and Midosuiji back to ruining everything. Seriously, the guy looked like he was morphing into an alien whilst riding. I came for cycling, not Men in Black rejects.
Seriously this thing with Kimousuji is getting too far; him being an incredible genius, whenever someone catches up he's revealing something new, no one can beat him and stuff. Annoying.
Midosuji is crazy about winning O_O Its entertaining but creepy at the same time. Next episode is about him? I'm looking forward to that.

This series doesn't fail to surprise me, ever! That turn Midousuji did was bloody brilliant.
Kinjou and Fuku's rivalry is great, and Midousuji is just creepier and creepier... but it works! The evil aura and pressure he produces, the OST... ahhh.
Jesus Christ Midousuji's the creepiest mofo ever. He's going to bite off that tongue of his one of these days, and then that tongue will just morph into another Midousuji.
Midousuji and that turn, epic, even though he still gives me the creeps.
I hope Kinjou and Juichi hurry up and catch up to him.

Great ep. Man how Midousuji took that corner at that speed what recklessness. Though darn another cliffhanger but it has to end this time. I can't wait to see who will take Day 2!
I haven't enjoyed Yowapeda too much since the inter-high started and they started going a bit over the top. I don't like Midosuji's character either. He's too damn creepy haha. But iono, I'll probably continue watching it until the inter-high is over at least. Maybe I'll start to enjoy it again :)

Definitely agree with this. I mean, I still love this show, but it's getting really tiring. I mean, the way he took that corner. Clear case of "F U Laws of Physics, I'm better than you."
Aaand then of course shortly before the finish line he somehow manages to find another boost of power. And since someone made the Dragon Ball comparison, Midosouji getting faster and faster and more physics-bending at his speed would be equal to Goku going from little boy to Level 3 Super Saiyan by the 50th episode of the original Dragon Ball, it's ridiculous.
I can barely watch this anymore. I just want to know how this anime ends and wrap it up. I liked it A LOT in the beginning, but it started to get on my nerves already when the first season ended without even ending this race. And now, two episodes after the new series today's race isn't over yet.
What's worse, every episode exactly the SAME concepts are repeated and the race barely advances.
I mean, I would be OK if at least it introduced something new or fresh but tell me what about this episode I haven't already seen. I'm very disappointed :/
I also agree with others that Yowapeda is getting worse as it goes on. Too much focus on characters that aren't complex enough. The captain vs captain vs Midosuji thing is getting old. Midosuji's tactics aren't getting any better. It's just *slows downs* and then *speeds up in a gross way*.
Anyway... So, MAL says this will be 24 episodes. Kind of sad. :C
I was so into this show during it's first season. However, I only just recently finished the second episode on account that I feel a bit burned out on sports anime. I wish that the show hadn't cut out and left us hanging on the interhigh's race results because now I'm feeling as if it's just dragged out and a dull story line. I felt kind of uninterested in the events that were occuring in this episode and it definitely didn't inspire me to really catch up. I know that I will because I was a pretty big fan girl, it's just when they're spending so much time talking on their bikes or thinking on their bikes it feels a bit bland now for some reason. I have faith that I won't feel this for much longer but damn idk when i'll be able to make the show a priority again like it was when the first season was airing imo. XP
