This war-anime focuses more about the characters talking about strategies than on the crualty of war, and i have a big problem with the strategies since they are completly illogical and only talked about. The show doesnt manage to show us which one is winning and why, it has to tell us, since the overall war-fights are made confusing and missleading. From the one second to the other a nation can win or lose the battle and you only know that after the characters said so, not by SEEING it. What yang considers what he does???? LOL. The only thing he says is something like: All those needles deaths, oh my". He is never depressed about it he is allways happy. And i said he didnt think about the casualties he made WITH HIS decisions, not in war overall.He is anyways a character without real emotions and have the biggest motivations problem of the hole show. And like Lohenheim is his overpowerdness absolutly not explained neither shown, just talked about. Overall is the "legend of the galactic heroes"- war a way too happy war. |

| Cutest proposal ever, definitely has Yang Wenli written all over it. Still came as a surprise, I didn't think he would suggest marriage that quickly (although with the chances of death high, you might as well raise the bar to the maximum). |
| That marriage proposal. That made me happy but I have an uneasy feeling something terrible will happen to one of them. God I hope not. Yea those gory scenes were a surprise. It didn't bother me, but nothing like that had been shown before. This is only episode 51? My goodness I still have 59 more episodes of this amazing series left. | On one hand the proposal was really cute, but it does feel like something is off with Yang now that the battle has started. I've been waiting for this moment when Yang and Reinhard would be able to lock horns again. This puts me in a bit of a pinch though, since I really like both of them and don't want either to lose. On one hand I want Reinhard to wreck the corrupt Alliance, but that would mean Yang's demise undoubtedly. This series has had occasional moments of blood and extreme violence, but I think this is the first time they've actually gone to gore. Needless to say it made me sick to my stomach, especially considering that it's happening thousands of times among those seemingly cute pink cloud explosions. |

| I'm speechless at the epicness of this battle. The 2 leaders know too well of their opponent, they wanted to meet each other and keep wondering who's better. Tension is high when you're doing something that is of utmost importance in your life, that must be how Reinhard and Yang feel during this episode. For the first time i see Yang lost his composure, Reinhard is no better, keep getting mad at his subordinate. What strikes me the most is perhaps the gore in this fight. They reflected how gruesome and dramatic war can be, whether it be ancient, medieval, renaissance, modern or post-modern age. Great job from Artland, i don't know who should i root for, both man's ideal, given the current period are too big and reasonable to object. |
