| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Idk which is more creepier, Taiyou's mental state or Satou's personality. Regardless, the episode's encounter between these two was disturbing. Personally, I also think the way they did the narrative dialogues for the first half of the episode to be a bit unique. Then, there's still Asahi looking for Shio... I think the scenes between him and Shouko were kinda cute. |

| I believe Taiyou is even nuttier than Satou. This series is so much like a train wreck, it’s disgusting and horrifying but captivating. I just know Satou is going to lose control of the situation before long and I hope Shio makes it out of this series in one piece. |

| To my surprise, this episode actually made this show interesting to me, again... After the past few episodes left me bored, and felt like there was no actual progression in them. Now though, gaining insight into how Satou acquired that particular apartment, and then her recruiting Taiyo to dispatch Shio’s brother — yea, my interest was somewhat piqued again. |

| I wish that they would've given the painter a voice but I guess having his voice distorted into some weird sound fits with the fucked up theme of this show. He tried to strangle Shio-chan so I don't care that he's dead. Satou-chan offered herself to him but he just wanted to paint her suffering face. Satou is smart, she's playing Mitsuboshi. Killing him now won't benefit her. She's going to use him to get rid of Asahi. Speaking of Asahi, I feel so sorry for him and Shoko is falling for shoto-kun. She's probably two to three years older than him. LOL at Mitsuboshi running away from the two women and sniffing that missing poster of Shio-chan to feel more grounded. I'm sure someone else is going to die next episode. |

| Best episode so far in this series. Its getting darker and darker. Poor Mitsuboshi. The moment Satou caught him must scare the sh!t out of him. A boy who is so scare of woman suddenly meet the most scary girl at the worst possible time. Satou remind me of Barney's graph of Hot&Crazy in HIMYM. She is smart and scary as hell, the way she lure Mishuboshi into the trap. This episode really show the true nature of this girl. And will Shoko and Asahi become a couple? |

| First half was animated very well, not as in it was visually stunning but in the sense that this method would have been the best and most interesting representation of the scenes. Content-wise though it wasn't the most compelling, so I would leave it at that. |
| The direction in the first half of the episode - barely letting us see and not letting us hear the original guy in room 1208 - was very unusual but very interesting, even if that sequence of events still didn't answer how Satou ended up with Shio to begin with, or why no one has investigated the fact that the painter is missing and has been for quite a while. Other than that, the second half was interesting as well, as I was honestly expecting Satou to try and kill Mitsuboshi. However, her decision to try and exploit his love for Shio to make him do what she wants seems very smart on the surface, but I'm not sure how well it's going to work out as Mitsuboshi feels very conflicted about this whole thing now. There's also the question of who Satou is trying to get rid of, with the implication being that it's Asahi with the phone call he received right at the end of the episode. If that is the case, will Mitsuboshi throw him off the scent or will he do the right thing instead? |

| It seems painter wasn't quite innocent victim as it seemed last episode. Though he seemed like a nice guy in beginning, for trying to strange Shio I guess he deserved the ending that he got. It just proves again that everyone is mad in this series. Mitsuboshi sure is cheap though, doing whatever Satou wants for a sock, even if it's Shio's. It was quite funny how he was saying that he is going to lead normal life only to do 180 degrees flip next moment. Scene between Shoko and Asahi was pretty heartwarming in all this darkness though. But I see a dead flag there, especially if by any chance she goes with Asahi to the meeting. She knows Mitsuboshi is obsessed with Shio after all, and she could ruin Satou's plan. And since Satou no longer views her as important, I guess killing her, if necessary, won't be an issue for her. I sure wonder how Satou got Shio though. From that scene that showed her coming in it's not clear, but Shio may not have been kidnapped. Though what Satou is doing is still probably kidnapping according to law by not giving her to authorities, in case she found her outside collapsed or something. As to how that would happen I don't know though. Her mother clearly did have a proper home going by the scene where Asahi visited his mother after his father's death. Maybe she got lost, or mother didn't have enough money to keep taking care of her and abandoned her somewhere. I hope they give us some backstory on that eventually. I think the fact that no one investigated painter's disappearance is not that strange. Given that his line of business was faking paintings, and presumably without the knowledge of buyer, I think it's likely that he worked on his own, and avoided much interaction with buyers too. After all it would be trouble if they discovered that they were sold a fake and could trace him. So no one would notice his disappearance from work. Since he was painting a lot, there is good chance he did not have too many interactions with neighbors, so even if they noticed he is no longer around, saying he moved out or something like that could probably suffice. We don't know about his family, but presuming that they are no longer alive, or that they don't have good relationship and thus not noticing that he is gone is not too much of a stretch I think. |

| Can't say I understand why they wouldn't let us hear the artist's voice, and why they never showed him. Not sure what they were going with there. It made him seem like a much more important character than he actually was. |

| Thought that the painter was a good guy, but then revealed he's also a sicko... tried choke to death a sleeping girl. He deserved the death that Satou gave to him. Satou is rather good at manipulating people... first the teacher, now Mitsuboshi follow her command. |

| The first part was pretty good, the second pretty annoying. I am bored with paedo Mistuboshi. He is literally the most boring and contrived character. But hey he wanted to change his life. | after watching this far i can say i'm loving this series even more, as for what i did see in the manga it was only past a little bit pass ep 2 and after that every thing else is new to me but wow this series is great so much happening though gotta say i don't really care for Taiyou but other than that this series i'm loving it with that said only a few more eps left but i wonder if the anime will have an original anime end or will the manga and anime end at the same time either way will be going to the manga once the anime ends |
