This anime seems to have a habit of the main guy just bursting his clothes off LOL. Machio is so damn ripped.

Some regular body training aside, we also got...uh, swimsuits?! So early in this show. A lot of info dump and ripped girls!

Another funny episode especially macho ones again with his figure.
No one can complain about this anime being sexist since it offers fan service to both genders.

Anyway the boxing bag falling down was nice, Hibiki has a bright future in boxing.

I feel kinda out of touch with this show tbh. I don't really care much about muscle training in general and I don't think excessive muscles look particularly good on girls either so I'm not sure what I'm really supposed to watch this anime for

Pretty standard comedy and simple plot but overall a nice watch, the girls are fine and it can still be a good motivation.

Another good episode. I wish they actually animated them swimming, instead, it was a lot of panning shots of still fanservice. Oh well. If only she had worn a suit actually that fit her size. The fanservice was toned down this episode, but there was plenty of workout tips to go around. Stretching isn't good pre-workout?? Who would have thought?

Hibiki has discovered her hidden talent... AND IT'S BADDASS. I'm hyped for her future as a legendary boxer.

Great episode!

Dat Dynamic Stretches bit was awfully hard to get by for me lol but the 30s Plank was no problems this time, how’d it go for y’all?

On another note, Machio is seriously ripped and his usual shirt bursting is hilarious every time. Akemi pretty much took over this time and xD @ the swimsuit ripping, some of these stone faced expressions are brilliant lmao. Damn, those Dragon Fangs and who would’ve thought Hibiki’s bestie is a boxer, but wait Hibiki is potentially even better? For some reason, I feel like I’ve totally lost now... Lol @ the “for now” bit, one punch Hibiki forms!

From my somewhat superficial and possibly outdated knowledge from when I had been doing sports, the information about stretches was correct but incomplete, such as you do not stretch when you want to go for explosive power and greatest performance but do stretch if you go more for endurance and prolonged excercises. As such, is there someone in the know who could explain or point me to some articles perhaps? This episode made me curious to complete/update my lacking knowledge. The help is appreciated.

try the manga. You are expecting a plot in this. There is a story but it's just the background majority of the story is muscle training.

don't worry I've not seen her boxing in the till now in the manga (ch 64) but she does arm wrestle. I actually washed to see her compete and I rushed through the manga.

It's kinda nice that they make fun of people who are worried about gaining too much muscle mass xD I wish it would be that easy, but especially tall people like me have to put in some really hard work. Need Machios Mr.O level genetic and his stack which he kept under the bar

Speaking of the protein bar, it might come off as nitpicking, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to mix Whey with Bcaa's. Whey already contains the 3 essential aminos. The 3g of leucin and even more essential aminos are in there, so there's no need to add bcaa's, it's just a waste of money. And besides, unless you want upgrade a meal or a snack that doesn't bring 3g's of leucin, you should rather go for eea's.

Overall really nice episode, Hibiki was packing a punch there. Ippo potential. And damn, Ayaka has such a fine body*droll*

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

Why? I think I'd prefer to just have it as a relaxing background watch and no, I'm not expecting any plot or interested in it enough to read the manga. I didn't even say that I don't like the anime, it's fine for what it tries to do.

And that ending I was waiting for her training to pull off some how hehe. I was expecting it to be a moving job and she would have to movie semi heavy boxes no problem.

I don't like the narrations and tedious explanations in shows like this. But that's just me I guess, it's fun and I like seeing characters become passionate about new things, like fitness, even though I'm a skinny weakling.

No don't stop squats, do both. I swear after doing squats the whole week(3 sets of 10 a day) my legs don't hurt anymore. NICE BULK!!!

Apparently it's true, there are many websites talking about it.

I swear my whole life as well has been a lie, I've been stretching before exercises from birth to graduation(had to stop being an athlete after graduation).

So thanks to Mob Psycho, MHA, Run with the wind and this show I'm getting back into it.

Wow I'm actually loving this show (and not just for the cute fit girls). I'm genuinely learning a lot about working out and it surprised the hell out of me that stretching could be potentially bad for you. I've been stretching at the gym beforehand every time I've went! Can't wait to learn more next week!

Not a lot of exercises this episode, but it covered abs stuff & prot' / nutrition tips, so that's cool ! I loved the ending where she broke the punching ball haha, at first I believed it was a sort of parallel situation, something she'd expect and we would then see the real result... I was wrong, she's become a beast

I don't get why they changed Arnold's name from Harnold Dogegenchonegger to a weird mix with terminator, but whatever.

Dragon flags aren't that hard either, my problem is that i don't have a good place to do them at home, on the frame of my door my fingers end up hurting and i tried with the couch but i lift it instead of myself.

3 sets of 10? That won't do anything to help you gain any muscle. Heck twice a week (since I do leg day 2 days a week and alternate with 2 days of upper body and ab days, combined with running everyday), I do 2 sets of 100 squats followed by 2 sets of 500 jumping jacks, not even including my other leg workouts I do. I'd say at the very least increase it overtime to where you feel you are pushing yourself.

You can do them without holding onto anything, or at least that's what I do and I find them more difficult but I like it harder.

Nice episode. The thing about Golden Time is bs tho. If you have a healthy intake of protein throughout the day, it really doesn’t matter if you rush some post-workout.

Just tried and it felt like i was doing most of the work with my arms and back rather than the abs but thanks for the advice, nice bulk!

After spending the whole week doing 30 squats a day at different intervals of hours, they seem too easy, and ineffective.
I would appreciate if someone told me if it is good to increase that amount to 60 a day.

Of course adding the 30-second table. Which I consider very painful.

No there's a difference between the types of stretching exercises. You should only do static stretching if you're already warmed up. Dynamic stretches can always be done because they warm up your body too

I most of the time do cardio first and if not dynamic stretches anyway. I didn't know there was a difference lol static stretching just looks gay

Episode was quite average tho

Maybe I misinterpreted your questions because I didn't even know it made a difference , my bad
