One of which is Taiga Daibouken. Aside from the very first episode of Robotech Masters (Episode 37 of Robotech global) the actual episode count remained, as did the rough episode structure. Episode 37 was cut together from bits of Macross and southern cross to fill the gap of inconsistencies. (Source AniDB) My bad, I submitted Shinmai FUREAI Net. Concept Movie twice to the database. The first one got a image to large error so I thought it didn't go through. The 2nd one had an image but IDFK how it fudged it up and gave it the wrong image. I submitted the correction image for both. Doesn't matter which one you want to delete from the queue. |

The direct source it's based on has a demographic tag. Manga magazines usually either have this listed on their website or a label as given by the Japan Magazine Publishers Association. This is why Attack on Titan is majority is listed as Shounen while one of its OVAs is Shoujo. Because that one OVA directly adapts a manga which was in a Shoujo magazine as classified by the Japan Magazine Publishers Association. b.) The parent company explicitly states the demographic for the series. Aikatsu for example is based on a card game. But the company has publicly stated that they started the shoujo demographic. While a card game like Battle Spirits Brave has not, so it's considered "all gender" even though everyone and their mothers can assume it's going to be little boys who are the target. NakaImo's direct source is the light novel. Which is published in MF Bunko J. Almost every light novel publisher doesn't state their target demographic. MFBJ is one of them. On NakaImo's anime website, the parent anime studio company doesn't list that it's a seinen show either. That means NakaImo's anime doesn't get a seinen demographic tag because it did not fulfill either a. or b. as a requirement. The demographic tag should be removed from the OVA because of the same reasons. |
