Ok so I discovered something about the background going black.

It wasn't reassigning the poster's height.
That just triggered it earlier.

Removing ALL customer css, it still happens when you scroll down 300 units and cause a load for more lines.

It's a chrome issue...

this was subbed since you dropped it

I take it you know about this 2015 torrent which is being seeded, but not settleing for the triple hardsubs?

You don't happen to have a rip of Yahabe do you?
Source: YouTube (the original & only release method)
i think it's dead :(

May I ask what browser and version you use?

Ppl over at the custom list club are investigating my issue, because it's not reproducible on their end.
But does on mine and yours.

I'm using windows 7, google chrome 63.0.3239.132.
But just now updated to 64.0.3282.167 and now it's worse - the background is all black now, like it was on your screen.

With no if statements, I can't say "if Movie -> replace with -> Mov".

CSS can't specify "after 3 letters, delete, hide or shrink the rest". Only element-to-element access.

What I can do, is hide the entire right hand side of X pixels to remove the final letters.
But due to the right-hand alignment, the V in "TV" is deleted too.

So I can do it, but I have to change to alignment to left hand hand.
Which looks strange.

It also means everything HAS to be the same number of letters. So 3.
But to remove the C in Special, I'm shaving pixels off of the V in Mov. Just just to how the letters are shaped and spaced.

I can get around that be having a very large letter separation.
Then need to shift it to the right.

Even 3 letter long words don't evenly align.

I see what you're saying about the uniform spacing examples, but I'm not convinced I like it.

Also I don't think I can do what you say,
because CSS is a styling-language and doesn't have if statements...

> Can you get some feathering or gradient going on the dark purple top bar background?

I've too been thinking about this.
I even considering maybe a subtly animated gradient, that changes hue of purple.
Or removing the part above the table.
Or removing it entirely.

But haven't been happy with the results so far.

Will continue looking into it.

> There's feathering on the side grey bars so it looks too abrupt against that solid purple.

The purple bar stops before the edges of those photos.
is that how it displays on your monitor, or is that just how you copy pasted it into a canvas in your image editor?

Oh thank you.

> The Type column looks a bit wonky b/c it's aligned on the right side. Viewing your Completed list instead makes the scroll down look ?disturbingly? bumpy.

Hmm, I sorta see what you mean.

> I think it's because it's "short words"

Not sure what you're refering too.

> The ep # (numbers) and the tags (long words) are also aligned on the right side but look fine

#'s are actually center aligned.

> Maybe try out uniform letter-spacing for Type?

Cool suggestion. I'll look into it.
Here it is with 1 additional pixel separation between letters.
and a few more things
#list-container > div.list-block > div > table > tbody.list-item > tr.list-table-data >{
    text-transform: lowercase;
    font-variant: small-caps;
    font-style: normal;
    letter-spacing: 1px;
    font-size: 15px;
    position: relative;
    line-height: 24px;

[old style]

I know -_-
But what a fantastic observation! I never even thought about thinking of a solution. Incidentally, it's "white-space: nowrap".

> And the background disappears part

Now this is just really bizarre. I hoped you'd not notice it.
I've been aware since last night, and found what's "causing" it and made a thread earlier asking for help.
No idea what's going on.

mutsuto Feb 17, 5:51 PM
I finished mucking about in my first dabble with CSS

What do you think?
Anything obviously ugly that I've overlooked from being too close to the metal?

Btw, when CSS4 releases, it'll be possible to hide entries which have certain criteria e.g. has my dropped-parent tag.
mutsuto Feb 17, 12:23 AM
that's exclusively how i always add torrents, actually.
