Nothing special except perfect animation/art/background. (The world reminds me of some disney/US cartoon movie). Anyway, good to see TRIGGER make something unique.

hehe, just the same.

And it is, like, only natural, I guess - soooo suitable for a series.

I can't wait :D I hope it will be just as good as the previous ones. I really loved the atmosphere of those. I felt like I was watching a combination of Harry Potter, Disney and Ghibli movies, all of which I love.

Little Witch Academia's format isn't fit for a TV series, so I wouldn't expect too much from this.

It's good to see that Trigger knows how to milk their cult-like fanbase; this move allows them to double down on profits without putting too much at risk.

After the second OVA, a TV series was something that I never really considered or wanted honestly. I always thought a full length movie would suit the series more. It's kind of the same feeling as when an FLCL sequel was announced.

I welcome it though, LWA has a lovable cast of characters and a very charming style to it. I do hope that it's not heavily plot focused, I'd love to see a Slice of Life by Trigger especially with this setting.

About time I watched those movies now I suppose. This looks different.

Based on responses, there is a good deal of seismic activity beneath this series.

Could this be the next big thing? The great counter-Evangelion to impel anime into a new and bountiful era??!!

30 minutes means standard anime timeslot 22-25 min+commercials.

Great news, ever since the little cameo in Luluco I craved for more LWA and I'm glad it's getting more than just a OVA. There's lot they can explore in that setting and I'm sure it will turn out great.
Easily a must watch for me!

Didn't they killed anime many times?

Well, they failed, like, twice (Kiznaiver, That other LN crap no one talks about anymore) but they did bring back Inferno Cop in Luluco, saving desolate parts of the world so I'm confident with this one.

"TRIGGER saving anime" is something the Western Anime Community made-up themselves, Trigger literally never makes anything hoping to "Save Anime" you talk like they claimed they are trying too. TRIGGER just creates shows and puts them out like any other studio.

i doubt it, TV series usually has higher animation quality in first few episodes and on the last episode only

even Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress suffers from average to bad animation quality on a lot of its episodes and that is a high budgeted TV series said by many lol

Isnt the original work only 5 chapters. Will they have enough source material to work with or will a large portion of the content be the studios own ideas.

Sorry if I am being ignorant. I plan on watching the movies and havent read the manga so i dont know how its going to work out.

True, but revealing LWA TV was better than doing nothing at all. Trigger basically left a bad taste in my mouth then gave me a piece of candy to make up for it.

That's awesome! I still haven't seen the second movie yet, but they're both on Netflix and I will be able to before it airs. BTW it was worded as "the standard for the 30 minute timeslot" meaning "the episodes will be 24 minutes long". It just means it isn't a short, because with things like this there always could be a chance they would be.
