Happy New Year ♡
I hope you had a great year in 2016!
And I hope you'll have an even better
one this year! We may or may not have
talked to each other much but we could
totally change that this year <3 To those
of you who made my year more special
you know you who are *wiggles
eyebrows* I really appreciate you guys,
without you guys 2016 wouldn't have been
as fun as it was. And I also thank all of you
for dealing with my crazy idiotic self <3

It's fine, have a good day at work.

You're right, so maybe I should cut it short ? (Talking about the second sentence) Thing is I don't know in what other way to put it.

みたいな as in ''looks like'', not as in ''want to see''. This みたいな is a na adjective and no particle should come before that, or at least that's what I've been taught. I could be wrong.

Sp4zzy Dec 28, 2016 10:08 PM
No problem.

Okay, I understand what you mean with the first sentence.

I don't understand the first period you put on the sentence that starts with ずっと前から. The という and the 分からない should be connected because I'm talking about the fear (恐怖) of not knowing what's going to happen (何が起こるか). I ain't no expert, but that period just sounds incredibly wrong to me, unless you can explain it for me. I understand the second period, but I guess I could replace it with a そして.

As for the 3rd sentence, I don't know of any rule that prevents you from putting many particles in one sentence, but as for myself I've only heard two of the same particle in one so while I do agree that all those に sound odd they also seem important grammatically, considering the passive forms and adverbs in the sentence.

I don't understand that の after 僕. I've never heard anyone put it before みたいな, could you explain it ?

I'm 90% sure there isn't supposed to be a na there.

Okay, thanks for your feedback. If you don't mind, help me with the confusion I have about the sentences I asked above.

It's fine. No, this must not be formal. This is me ranting to someone I deeply care about. It must be as sincere as possible.

I think you have what it takes to become an anime character.
