| A strong finale, loved it. I'm glad Ai-chan managed to meet almost everyone Akari-chan did, she even got her own glimpse at the past! No..sappy... 5/5. Quite the relaxing show to watch, I was afraid that I would be disappointed like with many big titles, but this one delivered. Gonna watch the next season next summer. 9/10. |

| Of all the New Year episodes I've watched in anime, this is my favorite. It was just so peaceful and beautiful, unlike the usual excitement (which is good too). It really is a refreshing take on New Year's Eve/New Year. I agree that although it's supposed to be happy, I was more sad because endings are always sad :( Auguri, buon anno! (I wish I could've watched this on New Year's Eve, lol) Beautiful ending to a beautiful anime! Now I'm off to watch the next season! |

| This is an anime about nothing. NOTHING. I would have rather watched a bunch of those kitten and puppy videos. At least something happens in them. Why is this ranked so high on MAL? It is in the top 600 anime? .... It didn't have any romance, action, or comedy.... It didn't even have a conflict in the story? Why did I watch this? I thought some other anime were a waste of time, but this one takes the cake. |

| I also prefer series with more action ... but still, for me the last 3 episodes were particularly great. Gonna watch the sequels soon =) What I honestly hated was that damn cat, he just pissed me off from the first episode to the last ... sorry >.> 7/10 |

| Argh, Ai-chan was ridiculously adorable. Where to start...this certainly was something else. A very heartwarming, relaxing, and peaceful series. Venice was a great choice for something of this nature. I've never been there personally, but in Assassin's Creed 2 I used to roam Venice aimlessly and pretty much memorized everything on that. So it was great to see places I recognized from there, especially San Marco Square for the New Year celebration X). Overall I'd give this a 7 or 8/10. There were certainly episodes that I kept checking the time left on, but there were also others that were surprisingly heart warming and enjoyable. |

| It was a pleasant series. If it had more character development and better animation I would've gave it a 9. Watching the second series now. 8/10 for me. Pure slice of life that just puts you at ease. |

| Great anime overall, loved the atmosphere of it. There was that one episode focusing on the cat that I didn't find it as enjoyable as some of the others but the overall style of this anime makes it enjoyable with its characters. Ah, the finale ended up on a good note as well. I'm also loving the music style of this series. Idk why but it just hits me at home at how it is able to refine itself in a way that is so pleasant to the ears. Aria the Animation: 8/10. |

| Fantastic finale! So many feels in this episode! I couldn't stop smiling and my eyes even felt a bit watery. ;_; Overall, a really fun watch, though admittedly it did drag at some points. 8/10. Going to start the second season soon. |

| Probably one of the most relaxing series I've ever seen right up there with Non Non Biyori. Sometimes the show could feel a little too slow but the Art, Characters and Music were so good I didn't really mind. 8/10 I can't wait to move on to the next season though it'll have to wait until I can afford to buy the boxed sets. |

| Soooo I just ended watching the anime. "It was OK". I knew it would be "slow/peaceful" but it was maybe a bit too peacful for me. The music, art, story were nice but it was missing something I felt a little bored for the last episodes.. The thing I loved the most were THOSE DAMN CUTE FLUFFY FLYING COTTON BALLS in the 10th episode <3 xD I might watch the second season not sure tho. |

| Seeing all the characters get together like that was really nice. But their group was lacking the old postman. Overall my enjoyment of this show varied. There were quite a few boring/bad episodes but also some really good ones. Time to move on to the next season. |

| Absolutely beautiful anime. Reminds me of a lot the time I visited Venice, it really is a beautiful city. Executed really well, enough to keep me intrigued and enjoy the show. Definitely looking forward to seeing what natural & origination has in store, especially expecting even better art to further fuel the ambience in the series. 9/10 |

| The New Year's celebration was a nice way to end the 1st Season. It allowed all the characters to interact for the last ep. I enjoy the mostly understated humor of Aria. The way Ai reveals what Akari had written in her emails was well done. The music was great as ever. Yui Makino (she performs the OP themes for all three series) became a favorite of mine thanks to Aria. |

| I don't remember that Al guy being introduced very relaxing series glad they didn't make the finale sad. There some bad episodes like President Aria one. 7/10 Maybe would of been 8/10 without Aria. |

| Coming back to Aria again, Animation deserves no less than a 9/10 from me. With the bigger picture in mind, the characters felt far more endearing this time around and each episode put a smile on my face that just couldn't be obtained on the first watch through. I'll definitely be rewatching this episode New Years Eve. |

| This was the best episode in the entire season, Good ending. Overall Rating: 4.7/10 For the sake of some of my friends i will rate it 5 instead of 4, plus i liked the last episode. I hope the sequels will be better. |

The thing I'm probably gonna miss the most are the opening and endings songs. Hopefully it will be better than this the next few seasons since I really loved it. It set my heart a flutter. | It felt really appropriate to watch a sweet new year eve after the shit year 2016 was. It was even shit on a personnal level, glad to wave it off. It's really stupid, but I just couldn't stop laughing because the furnace at 0:28 min looked like a nuclear sign. It's not even funny lol Anyway, it was a very good episode. Glad to se Ai back again, she has such a funny voice. The Aria/Maa antics never get old too haha This is not a sayonara. Off to the next season we go! |

| I feel like this was kind of a lukewarm way to end the series. I missed the intimate feeling of episode 11 (the time the three Fairies spent some quality time together), even though I know Akari said that New Year's Eve is supposed to be celebrated with everyone. I guess it shows that I prefer socializing in smaller groups. On the other hand, as a whole, I really like this show, and I'm definitely watching the sequels. Besides the charming characters, the relaxing Mediterranean soundtrack and the pastel colors, I liked how it touched on some relatable themes like accepting change and the evolution of friendships. One theme they circled back to numerous time was how so many of the inventions in the present you take for granted is the result of the sweat and tears of previous generations. This one didn't resonate with me as strongly as the ones I mentioned previously, but it was interesting, especially in the context of a vaguely utopian society. Also, don't trust cats. |
| This was a nice, refreshing series to watch. peaceful and soothing. but there's something missing.. there's many boring bits here and there in each episode. and although planet Aqua is extremely beautiful and charming, the production value is pretty low. it will probably get an upgrade in the production the next two seasons, since the DVD sales will add to the budget. hopefully. 7/10 |

| This is a very good anime with a positive advises and messages. On top of it the characters grow on you especially Akari, those catchphrase lines by Aika "NO SAPPY LINES ALLOWED" made my day whenever she said them. Great last episode with all the characters gathered for new years day especially the appearance of Ai (whom i last saw on the first episode). I guess Ai and Akari's correspondence will continue to the next season. Will watch season 2. |

| A pretty good Slice of life that calms you down everytime you watch an episode. Then I noticed every human characters name starts with an A...: Akira, Akari, Alicia, Athena, Alice, Aika are the main characters... then there is also the sub characters like : Ai, Akatsuki, Ami, Amilie... is there a meaning to all this? |
| this is the most relaxing thing i've ever watched, seriously, it was so relaxing i was falling asleep half the time but this was a really great anime, it was a nice change from all the complex stories i had been watching. not to mention, this is also one of the cutest anime i've seen - it was so precious! also, i want a cat now |
