| @Shizuna You can just try adding more empty spots with a short info about how there is no limit of the total amount of participants. That way folks won't be discouraged, and even might want to participate as well, seeing there's no rush other than one week for submitting one's nominee. :) |

@5hadow17 I like her the most as Hiiragi Shinoa and Emma Millstein, but there are dozens of her characters I like. Among the recent ones it's Nanakura Rin from Giji Harem. And her singing voice is wonderful too:

| Akira Ishida, of course! I was always impressed by his range and talent. I could have posted some picture of his roles, like some other people did, but I'm sure a lot of people will recognize at least several of his roles if they look him up (in case they don't know who he is). Not sure if I can still enter, but I nominate Koshimizu Ami, best known for voicing Holo and Ryuko Matoi!
| @Kaanere Unless you're a Macross fan. We remember her best (though not solely) as the speaking voice of Walkure's Mikumo Guynemer in Macross Delta. JUNNA provided Mikumo's singing voice (even though Ami can sing quite well herself, tyvm!), but along with her many other amazing voices, Koshimizu-san provided the rich, melodic speaking voice of Walkure's titular center. |

| @Coaghim I think opening the links should be enough for presentation, it already has all anime-related works listed there. The only downside is that it misses video-games, but if you're into them you'd know the roles anyway. |

Nominating Tomoyo Kurosawa. She is a talented seiyuu with a distinct tone of voice to which even her most nonchalant lines are portrayed with rich quality. Her resume spans a vast spectrum of characters from as down to earth as Toki Ayano (Yuru Camp) to as smug as Rebecca (Edgerunners). From this, she has a knack of treating each role on its merit and delivering her trademark embellishments wherever the situation requires which is a testament to her vocal range, projection and the artistic mind to lead her voice into different avenues with expression. Most notably, her role as Oumae Kumiko encompasses every commendable aspect about her voice acting abilities, ultimately elevating the Hibike series to a different stratosphere as she constantly delivers some of the most emotional performances from a voice acting booth you will ever hear. Quite frankly, Tomoyo is exceptionally underappreciated for her contributions to the voice acting scene and undeniably deserves her entry. |

| @Shizuna There's a difference between seiyuu who happened to play your most favorite characters to make the individual the best vs actual voice versatility (e.g. outside example would be Mel Blanc or Seth Macfarlene) so they're not using the same distinguishable voice vs voicing a more limited range but capable of expressing all facets of different emotions the best vs is it more all encompassing that would try to factor their roles/behind the scenes kind of things they do helping others out or keeping the vibes fun/off job what are they like? I don't really care for the first option although Sugita does have my favorite 2 all-time characters in the database but quantity of main roles is sorta lacking 2nd one both of the ones I had in mind been nominated already like Yuuki Aoi or Daisuke Ono (between his standard, Nendo from Saiki, and the female character although female is a bit less convincing but his typical voice already is low so good enough). Another one also suggested like Aki Toyosaki 3rd one is a much wider umbrella and at that point makes it difficult to really choose and grasping at straws maybe to the point the first option is used as a tie breaker (and also harder to judge for someone like me who doesn't have great understanding of the language) 4th one I doubt this one is it given the context of the discussion and it's more about roles. Outside his role for example, Tomokazu Sugita (not in the list yet but would nominate in this context) would be the coolest/funnest to hang around but he certainly doesn't fit the bill of 1 (as his roles don't consist a lot of main characters that his other peers have for instance but just on limited selective characters alone, I'd guess he'd suffice) or 2 (his voice range isn't as versatile as some others). I'm not going to argue 3. (And of course as soon as I hit post Sugita got selected so....nevermind) |
