Bunny Kurumi announced for Feb 2025. Man, I'd be so salty if I was her fan. So many great pieces of merchandise and so little money to afford it :(

Hello. Any hopes for 86 s2? They have enough material for it?
Shizuna Mar 30, 12:18 PM
I'm currently playing through Persona 3 and I found this artwork today:

What a funny coincidence.

Also, I think I would be fine with Juna x Kurt canon ship.

Aaand I'm not sure where this is from (maybe Haji promotional artwork) but it looks great:

As promised, I have watched Sousou no Frieren after it finished airing. And...
...
...
I think I can safely say that, both objectively and subjectively, it's one of the best anime ever made. If I still used scores, I'd give it '10'. In my own rankings I'd give it 3rd or 4th place among all anime I've seen. The last time I experienced something similar was in 2011 when I was watching Legend of the Galactic Heroes. I've watched 28 episodes almost glued to the screen - which rarely happens in this age and with short attention span.

The places main characters visit are so beautiful and detailed it almost felt like I was traveling alongside them, and all the characters are so full of life it can be said they're just as real people. But what I loved even more is how relationships between people and continuity of life was portrayed as well as how it all is seen from a perspective of a venerable elf who lives much longer than humans.
I really hope that this story will reach its conclusion without hiccups down the road.

While I'm on a topic of anime, some other titles I've seen recently are:
>Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e 3rd Season
It is my belief that light novel, most likely, presented everything better. It's already a third season and I still can't remember the names of half the characters.
>Dosanko Gal wa Namara Menkoi
Nothing outstanding, but wholesome.
>Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete
Some parts of it a rather boring, but it's a decent ecchi nonetheless.
>Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha
>Majo to Yajuu
Didn't expect anything out of it, but it turned out rather interesting.
>Mato Seihei no Slave
A rare case when there are tons of girls and all of them are cute.
>Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari
Watchable, but not really worth the time compared to other alternatives.
>Odd Taxi
Didn't want to watch this because of the art style, but gave it a chance anyway and it ended up being decent.
>Ore dake Level Up na Ken
One episode left. I got exactly what the premise promised, so it was good in that regard at least. Also battle choreography and animation is nice too, but otherwise can't say there is anything I can feel attached to.

How about you?

Now going back to previous topics.

About Eris, Kakuma Ai is perfectly capable of voicing mature character, so I doubt they will change her and I wouldn't want that to happen anyway.
Example, although she'll probably sound different as adult Eris.

About Frieren overcoming FMAB, I think Frieren it is similar to it in the way that everyone can enjoy both regardless of other preferences. I don't particularly care about other peoples' rankings, but I think it's nice it was Frieren reached top.

About localization, the fact that NISA is so slow is a blessing in disguise because if they were faster there would be no reason for fans to bother with fan TL. Other than that, with each day it seems like everything in this industry gets worse and worse so I don't have high hopes about the future of gaming and anime. For example, recently it was confirmed that two characters in Re:Zero's third season are going to be censored, and while I personally don't care about them (I don't even know their names), the precedent itself is terrible, especially so considering the studio said it was done for the sake of "global audiences". Previously only game developers used that language, but it seems like anime makers got corrupted by activist investors as well.

About Lloyd outfit: he doesn't change much, but in his CS art he looks more mature, so I'd go with it.

Cecile > Nina > Illya. I didn't even need to think hard about it. I'm even fine shipping Cecile with Lloyd instead of other girls, she's just that good despite being an NPC. She's also voiced by one of my favorite seiyuu. How about you?

If Falcom adds Laura/Sara to one of the newer games, I hope they'll have more screen time than Fie did in Kuro I. It was nice seeing her, but all in all it was mostly cameo unfortunately.
Who were some Kiseki characters you flipped your opinion on? Basically, who were the characters you initially hated and grew to love.

To be honest, I can't name any. I almost never feel strong negative emotions such as hatred towards characters, unless it's annoyance. Like for example I watched this anime recently and both the protagonist and the main girl annoyed me a bit.
Unfortunately, Ash had a Juna's curse and was portrayed much worse than he is thanks to a terrible localization. Also, it's kind of funny Bardias is almost like an accessory to Le Guin.

Eh, Azur Lane is very stingy with actual story and meaningful interactions between the characters, so even someone who haven't played the game can assess what kind of personality each girl has based on her voice lines. You can check Jean Bart's here. Just read the text and click the small ▶ button near it. It never hurts to hear some Marina Inoue, he-he.

I like Millium, but she's not very feminine (especially in contrast to Atlina), so I don't even compare her to other girls.

My first impression of Mushoku (ep 1) was positive and it only got better with each new episode. I hope to see Eris again soo, though. In retrospective, even though I liked the way Sylphy was presented in the last season, I miss my redheaded brutal tsundere.

Frieren is still airing :(

I might be wrong on this one, but I think most of Kiseki fanbase are old players, so Falcom might be experimenting with more adult themes. Kuro was arguably more deadly and sexual than any previous entries as seen in characters' deaths, pole dancers, etc. We'll have to wait and see whether it's a good thing or not in the long term. I just hope they won't sell out to Western investors like most big Japanese companies like Sega, Capcom, etc. already did. That said, seeing how Sega openly supports terrible localization practices, I don't think that the NISA problem will ever be resolved and future localizations will be even worse than what we've already seen.

"Trails through Daybreak" doesn't make much sense in my opinion and if it were me I'd just leave it as "Kuro no Kiseki" - there's no reason to translate the title in the first place. It's like honorifics and terms like "senpai" - a player/viewer can spend a few minutes and LEARN something about the foreign culture, but instead localizer treats them like dumb sheep which needs to have everything "adapted" to their language. That said, I wouldn't mind "Trails through Daybreak" as a title if it was the only issue with the translation - at least it doesn't affect the script, the story and character personalities by itself. As I've mentioned before, someone like Juna in JP and EN are completely different people and have nothing in common other than their looks and names. One is cute, kind and energetic, other is always sarcastic and bitchy.
Also, apparently there is a job called "Script adapter" or something and these people don't even know Japanese. They just change it to suit their political beliefs.

CS III Alisa > CS I Alisa > CS II Alisa. I think that white suit and pencil skirt really suit her. Also, that zipper! It almost looks like she tries to win some points with Rean seeing how strong her competition is.

Lucrezia had the best swimsuit. Hope we'll get to have her in the party in some future game.
As much as I like Millium, Altina >>>>> Millium. That's just no contest. But you know what? I think they are able to grow now, right? Or am I misremembering something? If yes - I can't even begin to imagine what kind of beauties they might become in the future.

Give me a Need for Speed-like Kiseki spin off where Kiseki characters compete with each other :> Also, with every girl having her unique race queen outfit.

Yup, I also noticed that Towa's assets situation. I think Erebonia needs to start importing Calvard's water ASAP.

Weissmann was very interesting indeed, especially how he revealed himself to the player at the end of Sky 1. Speaking of that part of him, Joachim followed in his steps and I think was quite a decent character too. Among the others I like Dieter Crois, he was a naïve fool in some aspects, but charismatic and ambitious nonetheless.
But all and all my favorite is definitely Osborne, there's not much point to explain why by now.
But you know what? He might be the most well written villain in the series, but the most evil villain is someone else entirely - that would be me for betraying Laura.

Oh, MT S2 only 7th? That's a bit surprising.
Mine would look like this:
1. Oshi no Ko
2. Jigokuraku
3. Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon
4. Bastard!! Ankoku no Hakaishin
5. Mushoku Tensei II: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu
6. Summertime Render
7. Isekai Ojisan
8. Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!
9. Yuusha ga Shinda!
10. Megami no Café Terrace

Bastard is from 2022 but I watched it in January 2023. If it doesn't count 10th place can be filled with Zom 100. So we only have 2 overlaps with each other, one being MT and the other OnK.

Okay hello I think is time to reply to this considering the new info we've just gotten
I think Van and PU Truck Nightbreaker take my top 1 spot tbh

Unmitigated Kino. I often think whether I prefer that or Resonance of Ray as my absolute favorite song of all time but yeha Unmitigated Evil is something else man. How can one make such a raw and fire theme is beyond me, insane track.
Today I asked Kondo what is for dinner September 2024, he replied "Kai no Kiseki"

Yeah is always fun seeing reactions etc. It's the best thing of being caught up with the series. Happens one time every December. Next one should be TX2 announcement (since Xanadu games have historically always released in years ending with 5 so 2025 is gonna be perfect for the teased T.X.K.). I'll make sure to play TX before the shareholder meeting.

Yeah logo is insane. Can't wait to play Kiseki 2 set in another continent on another star.
Mhm either they go Hype boxart or instead opt for the emotional one. Man idk, I always thought of Aidios to have a similar design to GM.

Is the most popular arc I guess. Though Van is very popular as well from those who played the game (He won top 1 spot in Kuro Male Chara ranking in JP).
Mhm yeah it's interesting, it seems like Falcom has noticed how outdated they are, I hope at least. Though is still too soon to say for sure, it's clear stuff is happening and we gotta just wait and see. Even Hansuke I've seen often comments how things are changing behind the scenes...
Yeah they need more youths. I mean Hajimari was mainly written by young employees and guess what? It's a fucking banger of a game. Koguchi too has joined in 2020 and guess what? He's the reason why Falcom OST are still decent even though all the outsourcing. His style has brought such a breath of fresh air in Falcom Sound Team. And he has gotten so much better in just 3 years, to the point where his Event, Town and calmer BGMs are straight up Unisuga level. I guess he really learnt a lot from Unisuga and Sonoda, yet he has such a unique style... What he made for Ys X too is insane.
Mhmh Unisuga has always been Falcom webmaster. Rumor is that he got extremely busy managing the sites back in 2021 and so he stopped composing (also probably because he was tired of Falcom practices). Yeah they are just too outdated I guess.
Yes I seriously hope they do actually.

Nah bro Van Arkride waking up tired af the morning post Kai no Kiseki trying to make coffee for the Solutions Office when a fucking Demon Lord wakes up in the depths of Edith and meteorites start falling from the sky generating Devils and Cryptids. Can't have shit in Zemuria fr.
Mhmh I'm guessing the narrative structure will be more similar to that of Ys. Also I'm guessing there's gonna be fewer new characters introduced except for the obvious remaining Anguis/Enforcers/Dominions etc and the protagonists of the new arc. But I definitely see a lot of main characters of the cast of next arcs being older characters, like for example I expect Arteria arc to have Kevin and Wazy in the main cast etc.

Talking about Nayuta 2, more about that in a bit when I talk about the new info. Also dw about that, you still got time before Kai and Nayuta is a very short game so even a bit before release you will make it xD.

Happy new year man.

Nah bro she's cooking the best meal we ever gonna have fr. Yeah never fall for Falcom trolling xd.
Yeah possibly. I still think that the Possible Worlds Gramheart is talking about have to do with possible timelines and not actual planets/worlds. I expect the reason why we're going in space in the first place is because, like this theory says, the Time Sept-Terrion is in outer space.

Yeah she cooking too, new chef on the kitchen. Def expect her to be one of the big Five.

Bro we went from travelling in Liberl on foot to fucking Gundam xd.

WE'VE NEVER BEEN AS BACK AS WE ARE NOW.

Nah bro fr we in the candy store having the time of our life

Yeah I guess we gotta wait a bit. Nah bro, naaaah you have no idea. When I wake up a morning and see Kai screenshots on Twitter and understand they dropped the PV... nahhhhhhh bro im gonna explode. When I look at the Falcom logo intro and the BGM starts playing in the PV as the Grandmaster starts speaking and say some cryptic shit like "The Time has come for Humanity to prove their worth"... NAHHHHHHH man imma go insane. God just think of what Jindo is gonna cook for Kai... I'm guessing he's going for another orchestral theme for the Final Boss... Can't fucking wait to fight the Time Sept-Terrion in space while the Jindo BGM goes insane.

I hope we gonna have a Liber-Ark like Kinship of Time final dungeon in space for Kai. Something massive with a central place where everyone chills kinda like the garden in the Tuatha De Danann in CS4 or the Garden of Beginning in the TRC. So everytime you defeat a boss you can return and get new dialogue/event with everyone. Just go back and chill with Rean Rufus and Kevin etc. Me omw to play Seventh Hearts or fish in the Final Dungeon while the Primordial Nothingness is engulfing the planet.
Yeah we'll see soon I guess. Need the new drip on Van bro.
Nah it's going to be a generational meeting... fr tho just imagine this: Van, Aaron, Ash, Crow, Randy, Kevin, Wazy, Rufus and then Rean and Lloyd. It would be INSANE. You know that the first six are gonna cook so fucking hard and go all out. Wazy and Rufus would like go with the flow to see whatever the fuck they gonna do and laugh their ass off while Rean and Lloyd would be desperate at first but then they would give in eventually. They are going to get so fucking drunk is not even funny, all hell would break loose fr. It's gonna be insane.

Nah fr finally we get a better view of the map.

Idk about the other games. It seems like they are straight up trying to make a new IP, not related to anything else. At least that is what it sounds like, we'll see.

After 13 games we're finally gonna understand what this series is about LMFAOOOOOOOOOO.

Nah this will be the game that will either confirm of completely obliterate all of our theories. Time has come man. Thanks, have a good one!

So... Like always someone has cooked the entire Falcom community by saying something. It's always a joy seeing the man himself troll us in the best possible ways.
Well the news aren't many but still let's go with order:

First the two new screenshots. First one is the one with two mechas, which is very interesting. First thing to note is that the white one seems to be an AF Unit, possibly the one we've seen in space. The other instead is definitely a Tyrfing... And not any Tyrfing, but the same exact one Crow used, so yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it was already pretty obvious from Kuro II but LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THE GOATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Also the line here is a "Female Voice" saying "Sorry papa, but now I'm done with my warm up"... Considering she said "papa" specifically, the only one who comes to my mind is Shirley. Also again is curious how she is saying that since I wonder who is she talking to or if she is even in one of the two Soldats we seen. It's possible that there's other soldats there aside from the two we seen on screen. That or the Tyrfing X model isn't piloted by Crow, or maybe is Rean calling Crow papa or viceversa which would be epic.

Anyhow the second one is... SOMETHING. So yeah, Swin and thus Nadia and Lapis as well are indeed back (Peak fiction)... And apparently Swin and Rufus are cooking in what seems to be the Middle East. Possibly even more eastern than Tharbad... And this tower... what the actual fuck??????????? It looks Nayuta as hell... What are THEY COOKING? Also the fact that theres an ancient-like tower in the middle of nowhere... You know it really reminds me of the Spirit Shrines from the Gnomes in Cold Steel. It might be a similar situation. Maybe Van, Kevin, Rufus will all have to travel separately to find these shrines to reach the Time Sept... Mmmmh. But yeah It's definitely an interesting place.

Lastly yeah let's talk about the MANY things Kondo has said which are all very funny.
So he made a lot of interviews with different news outlets the 28th but pretty much all asked very similar questions. Here is one translated from Hansuke: https://trakev210.wixsite.com/haohansuke21/post/a9vg-taipei-game-show-toshihiro-kondo-interview-kai-no-kiseki-will-take-the-kiseki-series-to-new

I will just quote the interesting parts.

In the newly released images from the stage event, we seem to see the back of Rufus, will there be any more storylines related to him in "Kai No Kiseki" this time around?

Kondo: All of the characters just announced will appear in Kai No Kiseki, so stay tuned for those. There will be more organizations and more characters involved in this game than in Kuro No Kiseki, so the ones that we've released are just a small portion of the story. These will be revealed later on in the future.

The fact that he straight up said "we've just showed a small portion of the organizations and characters in the story" makes me wonder what the FUCK will this game even be. 300h main story HERE WE GO.

Will Kai No Kiseki unique position will be Kuro No Kiseki III or act like a set up game like Hajimari No Kiseki?

Kondo: Although the postion feels like a mixture of Haijmari No Kiseki and Kuro No Kiseki, the game setting will be in the Republic which continues where it left off from Kuro No Kiseki, as to why we didn't called this new game Hajimari No Kiseki II or Kuro No Kiseki III is because Kai No Kiseki is the culmination and the beginning of heading towards the climax of covering of the entire series. Although there will be plenty of returning characters in this game, it will be different than Hajimari No Kiseki since this game will be setting up towards that climax. In addition to past characters making their appearance, there will also be brand new characters that will be making their debut in Kai No Kiseki along with past characters that made their appearance in past games but not described in full detail will be in Kai No Kiseki along with different organizations and such.

So yeah this confirms that Kai has both the role of concluding Calvard and begin the stage for the grand finale...

Now then for the one that absolutely destroyed the community:

Do you know how much Kai No Kiseki will advance the story for the Kiseki series? Will Kai No Kiseki will be the final chapter of the Republic Arc?

Kondo: I’ve said before we probably reached about 70% by the end of Kuro No Kiseki II, at this particular point we probably culminate about 90% of the entire Kiseki series by the end of Kai No Kiseki, which will solve a lot of the mysteries surrounding the continent of Zemuria. Kai No Kiseki will also bring the end of the Republic Arc.

LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
So yeah, it seems like we never learn. There's no way we still keep believing this man when it comes to percentages bro
People are actually scared that Kai is going to be the second last game of Kiseki. I have no idea how many times Kondo has pulled out numbers out of his ass by now xD. We went from the 60% in CS2, to 70% in CS3, to 60% again in CS4, then 50% in Hajimari, 75-80% after Kuro II, now apparently 70% in Kuro II and 90% after Kai... Theres' no way we keep falling for this man bro, he's been trolling since the beginning of this series.
Anyways yeah no matter what you better not trust Kondo when it comes to numbers LMFAO, is funny seeing so many people doomposting that Kiseki is over. When it comes to completion of the series, all you gotta do is literally just count the number of remaining Sept. Even if Kai no Kiseki somehow manages to pull out another Sept-Terrion like Cold Steel (which is extremely unlikely), we would still miss one Sept, 4 (or maybe 3) Demon Lords, 3 Anguis, 8 Enforcers and 5 Dominions. Realistically there is no fucking way you can conclude Kiseki after Kai in less than at the very least 5 games. They literally just released a new map of Zemuria and something like 30% of it is still obscured LMFAO. There's still the entire Arterian and East lore that have to be concluded.
SO yea if we want to have a percentage, we're probably gonna be 70% in after Kai. Falcom themselves have repeated many times that there are 2 arcs planned after Calvard anyways and it completely matches the remaining Sept-Terrions. As for what Kondo said... It's pretty clear why he's pushing out this much giving numbers like 90%. He has to generate as much hype as possible. And it's definitely true that this will be the game that opens the path to the finale and finally is going to give us an idea on when will Kiseki actually end, there's no doubt about that.
But yeah I can't wait for the post-Kai no Kiseki interview where Kondo will say "Yup I think we're about 65% in the series guys". It's gonna be so fucking funny.

Is Mr. Katsumi Enami still the illustrator for "Kai No Kiseki"?

Kondo: Yes, Mr. Katsumi Enami is still in charge of the illustrations for "Kai No Kiseki".

GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, ENAMI REAN KEVIN AND RUFUS HERE WE FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

And here is possibly the most interesting question:

The Kiseki series have become a huge overarching story, so is there any recommendation for newer players of which game to play first if they are getting into the series, or is it okay to start with Kai No Kiseki?

Kondo: It's hard to answer that question, we didn't say specifically which game of the Kiseki series would be the best to start with, you don't have to start with the first one, and there's a different approach to start the series halfway through. The Kiseki series has been going on for 20 years, and we are aware of this issue regarding newer players. In fact, we have already been preparing a new work that can be used as an introduction to the Kiseki series, but it cannot be revealed as of yet, and we hope to disclose it during the 20th anniversary of the Kiseki series, so we ask that players to please wait for a little while longer.

Sooooooooooooo yeah I think people are sleeping on this, he's saying some real interesting stuff here. "New work"... And also they apparently want to announce it during the 20th Anniversary? From what they've said it seems like they are planning an event for the 20th Anni (which by the way, is the 24th of June 2024), probably similar to the big Dengeki livestream with Kondo for the 40th Falcom Anniversary where they showed new info about Kuro, character rankings etc. So they might announce it there... This will be somethign to look forward to this Summer. I'm guessing this title they are gonna is the "Kiseki Series B Title" we've been wondering about that they've been developing together with Kai, the one in this picture:

The next question continues about this matter

Is this unannounced work, which cannot be publicly revealed yet, a remake of an old game?

Kondo: There may be some people who feel that it should be that specific work, it's not possible to give a definite answer to that question at this point in time, maybe it is, maybe it isn't, we've been eager to respond to the anticipation of the fans of the Kiseki series, so please look forward to a future reveal and being officially published.

Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... So honestly I don't really think we're talking about a Sky FC remake here. Many think it is but, if it really were, then that would mean making at the very least another game, since Sky FC alone is definitely not a game you can remake without its sequel. That or maybe making some kind of remake that includes FC and SC both. But honestly Kondo has often said he doesn't really want to start making Kiseki remakes until the end of the series, and I don't really see them going to commit themselves on remaking the Sky trilogy now that we're in such a climatic part of the series (quite literally the tunring point).
So yeah I'm quite interested in seeing what they are cooking. Like we thought this "B Title" doesn't seem to be just Kai no Kiseki sequel though. Honestly what I'm thinking are two cases

-Nayuta no Kiseki 2: If Kai is going to actually confirm that yeah, Nayuta is canon, then Nayuta MUST have a sequel or at least they have some explainings to do in Kai. Nayuta itself is a game which story is full of loose threads. I don't want to spoil you but that game is very cryptic. It leaves a lot of questions open and it seems like it was developed thinking that it will be connected into the main series in the future. Lots of stuff are left very ambiguous and I always thought that the moment they were gonna finally connect Nayuta to mainline Kiseki, they were also going to make a sequel.

-Kiseki Prequel: I guess it's about time. I always kind of expected that before the Final Arc they were going to make a game set before the Great Collapse, and this is the perfect time for it imo. Finally start to show what was the Ancient Zemurian Civilization like... Bro like, just fucking think the finale of the game... Seeing the Great Collapse beginning, the Sept-Terrions going out of control and the world falling into chaos... Holy mother of kino.

Anyways, whatever it will be, I don't even have to say that WE WILL BE THERE NO MATTER WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can't fucking wait for the 20th Anniversary celebrations man... I live for moments like these.

Will the story of Kai No Kiseki be intertwined in two different place this time, or will a group of people will embarked on a long journey?

Kondo: In this game, Van will make his appearance, and many other characters will appear one after another, so it's probably feel like a another group reunion in a way, and respectfully it's similar to how Hajimari No Kiseki does it that we're going to have various events gradually advance the story, and it's going to feel like we are going to be moving from place to another place. The setting of this game is mainly focused in the Republic, and there will be a variety of organizations that will make their appearance. Some of the names of these areas that were revealed in the live event just today will be specifically featured in Kai No Kiseki, so I hope you'll take note of them!

Yeah this one pretty much confirms how I thought Kai was going to be structured. I guess the pacing is going to be extremely fast. We're gonna move like in Haji (no real place to chill at all) from the beginning, perhaps changing perspectives in some chapters (I can def see a Rufus chapter with the Sinners and maybe Renne, Rean and Crow? And a Kevin chapter with Van, Gaius and Bergard). So yeah in other words; we're in for not a simple meal, but a feast of unprecedented proportions. Make sure to come with an empty stomach because we gonna be eatin for days man.

Anyways the rest is about Ys X, and in other interviews he made other interesting comments like for example the inclusion of Class VII in the game, which was pretty obvious since we know that both Crow and Rean are active in Calvard and Gaius HAS to come back for obvious reasons, and the fact that after Kai we're finally going to have the feeling that the series is on its way to the end and will answer most mysteries etc.

But yeah that's most of it. Also seems like they are making a remake of a beloved game which made lots of people join Falcom? Which I'm guessing is White Witch, since that's pretty much the game that made Kondo join Falcom as well as others and start writing Kiseki.

Is crazy how many stuff they are developing, I really hope they start hiring new members because holy shit man. They said they just started writing the new Ys as well and they are probably working on Ys V remake, the new IP, the possible White Witch remake, Kai no Kiseki as well as the new Kiseki B Title and all the Switch ports LMFAOOOO.

Anyways this will probably be the most interesting year for us Falcom fans. There's a lot of stuff happening in the background as well as the 20th Anniversary... Yeahhhhhhhh idk man it's insane for me that by June we're probably gonna see the PV of the turning point of the series... We're so back...

That's it for this post, I've been following Falcom news and I just recently finished Ys VIII and hoooooooooooly shit man what a fucking game... I'll write more of my thoughts on the main post (that I swear I will begin as soon as possible) because I know you played it but yeah, 10/10. I also just bought the JP Limited Edition of Ys X because it was on sale on the Falcom Shop. I'll play it once after Ys IX but I'm waiting for a sale on that too and I also just felt like having a short break from the series. after that absolute banger that was Lacrimosa of DANA. With that, have a good one!

Mikasa. Her name is Mikasa. This isn't Railgun XD
I can only think maybe the girl was meant to be creepy but it just didn't come across at all. Or that Mikasa just doesn't give a shit about anyone that's not part of her old friend group but she was being nice to Gabi so that doesn't make any sense. Gabi's a poor child so lets coddle her but the actual innocent girl she saved isn't? What is that double standard bullshit.

We already know from season 1 that you can remove a slave crest since they did it to Raphtalia so yea it was a really poor punishment measure. However you slice it they gave the bitch WAY too much freedom. I guess it should be interesting what they do to her next time if she gets captured.

Mahouka was one of the most boring shows I ever watched. Barely got through season 1. DxD has Koneko who was another favorite of mine for a while. Don't know if we talked about it before but I still want to play those Date a Live VN games where you get to pick your heroine. There's a cute new pink haired Kana Hanazawa girl in them too.

Azure boss has 2 forms too and of course they don't let you save in between. Or after the fight. My favorite main cast would probably be new class VII with Rean and Altina. Most of the main casts have like 1 character I really like such as Fie or Tio and then the other good ones are all side characters like Rixia, Claire or now Shizuna. Maybe I'll like Agnes more in future games when the stuff with her father being a villain starts happening but for now she's around Elie's level. Maybe a bit better looking.
Quatre's the shota character because I guess they need to fill that slot. I usually have zero interest in those. What is his connection to star door 15? Yes Feri is what Fie used to be in CS1. Former jaeger with different common sense trying to fit into normal society. Add in a few cultural/ethnic quirks on top. I'm not saying I dislike it but Fie already exists. Bergard showed up so late I kinda wasn't even paying attention to him. He's the guy who gave Gaius his stigma right? Feels like a really weird character to add to our team but if he stays for the next game I guess it could be interesting. Judith is pretty meh. I like Nina though. Still don't know what her secret affiliation is.

I loved the part where Shizuna made Van drive her around XD. She acts goofy but we all know how OP she is so you just don't question it. And her moves are so beautiful. One of those characters where the show/game is always fun whenever they're on screen. Can't wait to see more of her in Kuro 2. I already consider her around Claire/Rixia's level so she could end up being my favorite when we learn her motives/backstory. And I want to see a rematch against Rean after he gets a better sword. She already hinted he would "appear on this stage" eventually.
Yes Rixia's chest looks way too big and they should fix that in future games. Make it like 30%-50% smaller. I think it's more that they wanted something more for Judith and are using an existing fan favorite to make us care about the new character as well. Hey do you like Rixia? Well Judith likes Rixia too so you should like Judith. Same thing they're doing with Feri and Fie. Van and Renne.
The game literally tells you which alignments to grind to get Shizuna later when they introduce the mechanic. And I listened to it. Btw I noticed they made a lot of the collectables and sidequests way more mainline so I probably didn't even need a guide. Like during the usual "solve the riddles" quest it just gives me green markers telling me where to go. And for hidden quests it tells me where they are. I guess there's both good and bad in that.

Oh I liked the ending too. Would have been insane to kill our protagonist off in the first game with so much left unsolved. I was just distracted because it got me thinking about Eren. I like Van exponentially more the more he interacts with Renne. I guess more than Lloyd and Joshua (?). Less than Rean. Curious what secret he's still keeping that made him leave highschool/Elaine.

Anyway new Monogatari season announced: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=2141588
I see Nadeko nice and big on the cover there so I'm definitely interested. Don't like her new hair but it is what it is.

I was walking around a comic store today
Was shocked with how many manhwa or webtoons are getting physical releases
