| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh Sword...seeing this man fight as the Garo the Golden Knight one last time is a spectacle even in the finale. The fight was faster than I had anticipated but captured the thrill of what I had expected. Glad to see Sophie in a better mood now compared to some of the previous episodes. I feel like the second half of this episode balances out from the intense thrilling feel of the first half. For what's worth, I think this finale serves as a nice way to wrap this series from the journey that started in the beginning. 8/10. I'll probably give that upcoming Garo movie a chance when it comes out. |

| I'm glad that Sophie's story wrapped up cheerfully, as I was worried that the many unfortunate events she had to go through would leave her sad. You go, genki girl! The fight was pretty short but still effective. Sword is pretty much OP as a fighter, haven't seen a Golden Knight this strong before. And well.. then there's Bishop. I need to re-watch his scene subbed to understand it. Interested in his final words and what he's going to do now. Such a chill guy, pleased they didn't rush his defeat or anything. |

| Very good finale. It wrapped up things nicely. Sword's fight against Silver Knight was rather short-lived than I expected, but it was pretty cool. Him popping up at the end was hilarious. Luke looks very cool in his armor. Very good show overall. The action was awesome and so were the characters. 8/10 |

| This is one of the nice Garo series. Loved this one. From the beginning to the end. It was a fun ride. Looking forward to another one if possible. Pretty excited. Luke becoming a Makai Knight was very cool. A future where everyone is moving towards too. |
| Gotta say that most action series feel rather luke warm,but this one really hit the nail for me,also in this finale again. The fights were always well directed and animation was definitely better than in your average show. CGI was good too. Storywise it was also quite interesting and I even liked the episodic format of the first episodes,which is usually rare for me.The cast was another strong point in this series, not original,but they were all extremely likeable and a breath of fresh air compared to most other seasonals. My fazit,great anime overall and an easy 8/10 for me. |

| I'm with 7/10 for this one. The samurai Garo I dropped at episode 1 with 5/10 and the medieval-like Garo was 7/10 as well for me. The medieval-like Garo was better at the plot but I didn't really like the chars thaaat much. Also a bit boring in between in the middle. This one I really liked the chars. Main chars and the bad guys (bishop guy was really cool). The background story was okay and the ending nice as well. Could have been better. The pacing was a bit slow and didn't make me look forward to the next episode that much sometimes. But with the nice chars it was still okay and at the end it got interesting. I'd say those 7 for the 2 Garo i scored with 7 were both more a 7.4 rounded down to 7. Looking forward to more of Garo and studio MAPPA - MAPPA are great. Especially the music is nice and they are great at mixing emotional and funny stuff. That scene at the end ha ha. When Sword came from the toilet. Just great. ;) |

| I couldn't have asked for a better ending. It was both heartwarming and hilarious. This show was at its best for me when it focused on the characters instead of the action. Episode: 5/5 Overall: 7/10 |
| Sword vs Black Knight was quite fast and the ending felt a bit dull for me, I don't know, maybe I expected a bit more. Decent finale for a good series 7,5/10 |

| Ah that amazing end build up for sophie to meet sword and BAM. She got what she wanted. A truly fantastic way to end an amazing series! |
| Lol that ending. Those last few seconds completely killed the mood. I guess with Luke's new armor and Bishop still running around we're definitely getting a movie later on. Not as good as HnK but still close. I'll give it an 8/10. |
| LOL, those last few seconds. Talk about hilarious. I absolutely love Sword XD. Good finale. I enjoyed this show. Had good action and decent characters. Although, I enjoyed the first half of the show a bit more than the second half. But overall, a good watch nonetheless. 7/10. |

| I actually loved this show. Not sure why it has such a low rating on MAL or why so little people have watched it, but personally one of my favorites. Going to write a review for this. 9/10 |

| Until the end it maintained its tone the series with a touch of humor. I was very surprised by the trio of cooks xD. Bishop maybe of problems in the future, Luke as the silver knight, Gina will train Sophie to be an alchemist Makai and Sword alive: D I look forward to another season and with more action 9/10 I miss Garo's Fridays ...: '), 5 months have passed since it premiered. |

| And that's that everyone, what a ride. I'm glad we got a pretty in-depth epilogue but I'm hoping there's a sequel movie to this or something in the future like it has been before. Also, MAH BOI LUKE GOT HIS ARMOR! Gonna miss this one. 8/10 |

| @FireCrauter I would love another season, but I highly doubt that they're gonna release one. Just look at the other Garo's. Once the initial story arc for that time is finished, a new Garo series starts. |

| loved the show, not as good as the first garo and it could have done a bit more interesting things with its plot, but the characters were stellar, the soundtrack was on fire, and the action sequences got my blood pumping pretty much everytime at least in the 2nd half I actually really would want a full on 2nd series to this though i know its just going to be a movie, its just unlike the past 2 it feels like there is so much more room for something larger scale than just a film but its better than nothing. God bless that guy who keeps funding the garo anime even though barely anyone watches it. |

| Dont get me wrong here, Vanishing Line was by FAR my favorite season of Garo. Loved the modern setting and atmosphere. However, every iteration of Garo has suffered the same problem. The show starts out great. But then in the second half, it turns into a mess, falls to mediocrity, and in the end becomes rather uninteresting. There's just always a ton of episodes in the middle that provide nothing to the plot. Really, each Garo title would have been much better if they just wrapped everything up in a single, neat 13-episode season. |

| They took 24 episodes to give us 3 seconds of silver knight armor!! AAARRRGH. Vanishing line was decent. 7.5 /10 for me. I still liked honoo kokuin more because of the edgy plot. Sword as a golden knight feels odd. His a knight without flaw, almost gary stu and I find it out of place. Coming from a toku fan and a follow of the Garo live action and series it just feels weird to have a knight that doesnt inner conflict for once. XD Based on the tokusatsu formula this particular Garo is the least episodic,however they eventually still led to an half ending to tease the audience for more. Just like most Toku series these days. Throw cheap ed to make "real" ending in the movies. :/ |
| Can't say I liked the second half all that much, but this is still one of the better and more inventive Garo series, so 8/10 stays for me I guess (although frankly it's more 7.5 but rounding it up gives an 8). This also felt less anime and more like something Western, which is what they aimed for, I reckon. I only wish they showed more of Luke as the Silver Knight. |

| And that settles it. With one survivor from King's side, which is Rook and one victim from Makai Knight's side which is Sword. Plus Sophie got neuralyzed from... the rain Luke made. Plus there must another series of Garo since Sophie said the word. The word that "unofficially" will make Sophie become the next Makai Alchemist in another series I guess? |

| The final fight was much shorter than expected, but I still enjoyed watching it. It doesn't surprise me that Sophie ended up getting her memories back. I'm glad about that though, as it was nice to see her reunite with Gina and, at the very end, Sword. And I like how Sword maintained his goofy nature, his appearance at the end was pretty funny. It kind of messed up the emotional momentum of that scene, but still, it was funny. Also, it was cool to see Luke in the silver armor. I really wish we could have actually seen him fight in it, but I guess I'll settle for a cameo. Overall this was a solid series. I think this one, for me, falls in between the first series and the second. I liked it a lot more than Guren no Tsuki, but I liked it just a tad less than Honoo no Kokuin. I expect this, like the other two, to eventually get a movie, so I'm looking forward to that. |

| This season sucked at being Garo. Like someone pitched a generic action show and tacked on the name after. A sequel would have potential, but this is just a 24 episode prologue. Still enjoyed Sophie and Gina, and the music was great. |
