| I couldn't think of a better way to title this topic but has a seiyuu ever been so iconic in the first role you ever heard them in that you can't not hear them when you try to watch other series. Obviously many seiyuu are talented and fluctuate their voices and even play 100's of roles and get overlooked. But some are so prominent that it can actually take you out of watching another series. Takeuchi Junko is always gonna sound like Naruto to me no matter what. Which is a bit sad because she played tons of roles even before Naruto. Personally I couldn't really watch Hunter x Hunter (1999) because of this and I'll get over it but I just couldn't stop thinking about it after the first episode. |

| Pretty much everyone from Monogatari (by example, I can only seen Marina Inoue voicing Oikura, and she just appeared in one entry, so imagine the level of the rest) and Fate/Stay Night (with the exception of Kuzuki, who has changed of voice actor two times, but, since he is not a very charismatic character...). The voice actors has been voicing those characters for years already, and I can't imagine any other person replacing them, even if they are good. Honorable mention for JoJo. I would give some isolated examples too, but I would spend all the day listing them. |

| Yay Listing Thread! Takehito Koyasu as Adam Blade. I still consider that to be his best performance. Shizuka Itou as Akeno Himejima. She voices a lot of roles like her, but Akeno would be the first to come to mind when I think of her. Hikaru Midorikawa as Heero Yuy. This is never going to change lol. Midorikawa will always be "the one and only." Kikuko Inoue as Belldandy. This will also never change as she is the face of the Yamato Nadeshiko character trope. Nana Mizuki as Tsubasa Kazanari. She's voiced other popular characters like Hinata, Fate Testarossa, and Angelise Ikaruga Mitsurugi, but I identify her most with Tsubasa Kazanari because according to the seiyuu herself, Tsubasa IS Nana. They are both singers with strict disciplines, and Tsubasa's backstory is based off of Nana's background (minus the grandfather). She also reads the script of the anime before writing the theme song, so not only does she identify with one of the characters, but she identifies with the anime as well. And I can never forget her godly scream in AXZ episode 1. Aoi Yuuki as Hibiki Tachibana. Yuuki is an amazing seiyuu for being able to adjust her voice to a wide variety of character types. But I associate her with Hibiki because of all the screaming she does as well as pulling off the "ORA ORA ORA!". And it was voted by both fans and seiyuus alike that she had the best performance in Symphogear Live 2016 because of how well her performance reflected her character. Shouta Aoi as Cagliostro. It's the only role I've heard from him, but I can never unhear that voice ever again. He will always be best waifu for laifu. And while she isn't a voice actor, I will always associate JUNNA with the Giri Giri Goddess: Mikumo Guynemer. |

| I was catching up with One Piece the other day and they did a flashback on Sanji and his kid version is voiced by Ootani Ikue who voices another main character, Chopper, so it was really weird to constantly hear Chopper speaking with Sanji's body. But I guess when the only other memorable characters I've heard of her before is Konohamaru and Pikachu, I don't really have much to choose from. Also Yuki Kaiji as Eren, especially when he's shouting or screaming. |
| Well, if I give a certain seiyuu, I can name numerous role from them that is quite associated with them. Like Sugita with Gintoki, Kyon and Joseph. Ono Daisuke, Jotaro and Sebastian. |

| Sugita Tomokazu as Sakata Gintoki -I cannt take the others characters seriously with suddenly an image of his trolling face appear. He just fit Gintoki persona so much.Also his Eng dub is a crime to anime.  Rie Kugimiya is very hard .She the Tsundere Queen for a reason and I love all of her character (except Happy) but if I gonna choose one so be it . Nagi Sanzenin  |

| Gintoki! Definitely, like, when I watched Suzumiya Haruhi, all I hear is Gintoki talking and not Kyon! Same with Tabata Hidenori, the guy at Ansatsu Kyoushitsu,... it's just soooo hard for me to separate Sugita Tomokazu's voice from Gintoki. Almost impossible. Especially if his voice is kinda the same in every role. Also, Nakai Kazuya. Always has this Hijikata face but it's not as bad as Gintoki's case. I can still hear Zoro as Zoro fine. Rie Kugimiya's Kagura's voice, I can recognize it anywhere but the case still is not as bad as Gintoki's haha All in all, it's only Gintoki's for me. Like seriously, everytime Sugita-san plays a role that's not Gintoki, I just have a hard time connecting his voice with the current character. | Inori Minase as Rem (Re:Zero). Every time I recognize her voice on another character, all I think about is how nice it is to get to listen to Rem speak again. Hayami Saori as Jabami Yumeko (Kakegurui). While I'd heard her previously, Jabami is the first role where I fell in love with her voice, so I get really excited when I find another title she's in. Honorable mention: Ono Daisuke as Jyushimatsu (Osomatsu-san). Finding out his voice is Ono Daisuke has forever turned all of his characters into Jyushimatsu. RIP Sebastian. |

| I agree with Sugita as Gintoki and Jouji Nakata as Kirei. For me it's Nao Touyama as Yuigahama Yui, Komatsu Mikako as Totsuka Saika, HanaKana for Tachibana Kanade and Nadeko, and Hayami Saori for Aragaki Ayase. |
| Obligatory Rie Kugimiya mention. She is the tsundere loli queen. All I can hear is either Taiga, Shana, or Louise. (or Nagi, Aria, the list goes on..) Oh and Imai Asami will always be Chihaya and Kurisu for me. |

| Sugita Tompkazu as Gintoki is probably the most obivious one. Kugimiya Rie as basically any tsundere ever. Naruto's & Goku's voice actressess also only fit for those characters It's really disturbing when I'm currently watching Futari wa Precure: Splash Star and one of the main side characters is voiced by Naruto's voice actress. Same with the movies from the franchise, where there's Goku's VA as a side character. |

| Tomokazu Sugita will always be Gintoki and Kazuya Nakai will always be Hijikata Toushirou. I got to know their voices from those roles, so no matter how different the role I'll always think of Gintama when I hear them. Other voice actors that always remind me of only one character are Ami Koshimizu as Kallen Kouzuki (Code Geass), Yukari Tamura as Rika Furude (Higurashi) and Mika Kanai as Satoko Houjou (Higurashi). It's probably because I don't come across their voice in different roles that often, so the one big role they had becomes extra memorable. |
