| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Aquarius is back! Also more importantly is we find out why Brandish hates Lucy's mom. Brandish's scenes took a lot longer in the anime than I had expected but it showed a lot of her mother's past. In the meantime, there's still the war going on so... I want to see some of the Sabertooth Guild members fighting soon. Poor Kagura |

| In the time Aquarius spent with Brandish as a kid, she has managed to instill fear into Brandish. So far as to calling Aquarius "Master" and willingly taking physical abuse from her. I wont even mention the dog submission pose. I can only imagine what horrible things Aquarius did to Brandish as a kid, but one thing is for sure. It did enough mental scarring that even a couple of decades aren't enough to heal them. Aquarius is meant to be a good guy? yeah sure. I dont even what to think where the mother was when Aquarius was playing with Brandish. |

| I can't wait for the part where Natsu mumbling in his sleep and shocked everyone in the room. here I thought it's gonna happened in this episode. thanks for some Brandish and Kagura fanservice. now I wonder how Brandish become so much powerful even though she's from a servant family? | Brandish has a personal grudge against the Heartfillia family and with lucy being the only survivor, she takes it out on her. If she says is true, I can't actually blame her. Lucy trusted Brandish a bit too much on that. Oh Aquarius returns, that's quite the surprise! She is as fearsome as before XD She definitely has a different relationship towards Brandish than she has towards Lucy. Brandish doing a dog impression, what the..! XD So the history between Grammie and Layla is revealed to Brandish. Proving that Layla never did anything wrong. To think Zordio (who we met during the Tenrou Island Arc) was the culprit. I have to say that it was really emotional. So Natsu has gotten an anti-ether-nano tumor, sounds terrible to have for a wizard. Brandish was nice enough to help them cure Natsu, but still doesn't want to be friends with Lucy. Takes some time accepting the truth. The Wizard Saints beaten so easily.... Warrod saying he will see Precht & Yuri soon... I hope not!! I loved this episode though! |

| This sure had a lot of Fan service as expected from best gurl Brandish for fan service. I don't know why those damn Celestial creatures didn't told them about the past since they know most of the story. That was too lame I had some hope for those 4 wizards seems like they were only a statue I mean if natsu could handle Zeref with that fire from Igneel sure those four could done something, this problem has always been annoying in FT but this won't stop me from enjoying it and pretty sad how this show has died in Social medias. |
| I was so happy to see Aquarius again! I missed that aggressive mermaid haha That part with Layla and Brandish's mum was so sad! Also, i hope Natsu recovers soon cause we haven't actually seen much of him so far this series |

| I know this is Fairy Tail and all but my goodness, Aquarius just appearing out of no where right after Brandish gives us her backstory involving her and resolves everything. Jeez, if they were going to give us a flashback, at least show how she became as strong as she is instead. |

| It was kinda funny seeing how Brandish acted around Aquarius. I'm kinda happy that her key is back in the world. Especially since that power up Lucy got after her key broke was temporary. Of course I'm not surprised at all with how Brandish/Lucy story unfolded this episode. I suspect she will become some kind of ally in the coming episodes. |

| Something about this episode felt particularly fan-fic to me. I think it's the "hate each other under certain assumptions but then Aquarius ex machina to explain the whole thing away because hot female character needs to join the good guys". Oh, and the "magic tumor" or whatever is dumb. I'll just say it. Ah well, I'm not here for good writing at this point..... |

| Interesting past Leyla and Brandish mother had. Ofc. the typical FT scenario. One's relatives get killed and assume it's the other person's fault. Subsequently, find out it's not her, but another dude. Forgives her and the two persons become friends. Not something shocking or surprising. People are really surprised that Aquarias came back, well not me. After reading Mashima's top manga's this one + Rave Master, I need more than that to get surprised. Hell yeah, even if Ultear appears as a young maiden wouldn't surprise me. This FT, so of course everyone survive happily ever after. :) What really disappointed me was how Leyla died? I mean really, nigga? Is this the best cause you could come up with for the death of such important character as her. I had more epic death in my mind. By seeing things like this, one can get a clue that the author wants to finish this manga. At least the animation was really decent. Didn't look that bad. Otherwise, meh ep. |

 wew I agree with the sentiment that Layla's death (and Brandish's mom, for that matter...) was kind of goofy and poorly handled. Fairy Tail consistently passes up opportunities for emotionally resonant, powerful swansongs for anticlimactic ones like that. shit, Warrod's closing lines struck me with feels. :'( this could be one of those opportunities. |

Brandish got Lucy in a hold. Lucy spread eagle. Dat water. Aquarius? A new water bearer key appeared. The king opened the door for her. lol at Aquarius yelling at Brandish. WTF! Aquarius is Brandish master? Layla didnt kill Grammie? Lucy oppai in mermaid form. Anna Heartfilia. I see the resemblance. Nice oppai. Grammie moved far away. Layla used her life force instead. Dat stab. Happy. Happy lying his ass off. Natsu didn't retreat. Happy took Natsu away. No heartbeat? Anti ether nano tumor? Brandish is offering to save Natsu. Natsu is saved. lol at Aquarius. Aquarius is gone. They retreated. Dat dress break. lol at everyone looking. They retreated. God Serena won. Warrod!!!!! Dat ending. 2 1/2 chapters. Kagura only had her pantsu that you pull from the sides on in that flashback. |

| I love Fairy Tail to death, but this episodr just rubbed me the wrong way. Why is Aquarius all of a sudden back? It completely diminishes the impact of her sacrifice from before. I always had figured she'd reincarnate because she's one of the 12 zodiacs, but she conveniently comes back right now? Memories intact and all? I was going to say that the archive was an asspull, but it's long since been established that Celestial magic has dealt with time before. Layla's reason for death was a little... meh. I suppose giving one's one life to compensate for magic power could work. But I guess I'm not too keen on the idea. But why would Brandish assume Layla murdered her mother? I'm sure the guy who actually killed her could've come up with some lie about bandits or something. What was the deal with the supposed tumor Natsu had? What even was the point of that? Why not chalk it up to an internal injury from when Zeref shot the book of END? Just overall, did not really like this episode. Save for all the big tiddies. |
