THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
This was somewhat fun to watch. Artwork is a bit meh though imo but the face reactions were priceless. We get introduction of the main girls as well as the premise. Not sure I like some of their voices but they do fit.

The show also has some noticeable shots of their highlight moments:

The ED theme song is somewhat catchy I guess.

That was a good episode.

Ichinose and Moesaki are cute.

Ichinose didn't do a good job on her first day as a seiyuu.

It's cool to finally have a seiyuu show that's subbed. The show's pretty cool and feels a bit like Shirobako because of the inside info. on the anime industry (it also doesn't hurt that MC also talks to herself through the form of a plushie).

As it's about seiyuu, I was disappointed that the main seiyuu are newbs but it does make sense given their characters and I was pleased that they have guest stars in it (Nozawa Masako, Asano Masami, えtc)。
Here's hoping that HanaKana shows up.

Didn't expect this to be 20+ minutes, but I'm cool with that too.

A nice and interesting show, this will definitely be fun though I just hope main girl doesn't stay klutzy too long because it did bother me a bit.

I don't get it: why do people seems to be bickering?

I think: this is not a Shirobako and it has no need to be a Shirobako
it's good because it's simple and cute.
No need of especially good story or such, just stay as mediocre and as cliche as it can be and this anime would be perfect - of capturing the normal life of a Seiyuu.

Once again I mention: the normal life
(not the lights of a pop idol that usually come along with successes in the VA field)

Haha, so I was not the only one thinking about this one.

Generally the only reason I decided to try this one out is because I watched Shirobako and there was not enough voice acting part. (even though I really wanted and there was good heroine for that but we can't get everything)

Still one fast look, no nope for me, at least not right now. I don't feel like watching healing anime right now.

Generally though, the fact that it wasn't what I though it could be, it's not like it makes it bad anime by any means. In the first place most seiyu animes that I ever watched weren't serious and were more like this one.

I was expecting this to be a short, and good thing it didn't turn out to be. Even with the less amount of screentime, Rin is already the best character. She's so cute and pro!

Futaba and Ichigo still has a long way to go. What's up with that unmotivational man looking down on Futaba? >.>

Pls don't let this be the series for people to act like they know EVERYTHING now about the industry, like with Shirobako.

I enjoyed this more than I thought. The artstyle reminds me of Saki. It does have Shirobako-vibe, and I really like it. This one is more simple and easy to watch.

The characters are sooo fluffy and likable, even real-life character is there. I like Futaba already.
Definitely going to keep watching this.

How in the world can the early rating be less than 7?

This is no Shirobako for sure but it doesn't have to be (I mean the style is obviously different, this seems more like a gag anime). I'll consider it as a compliment to it though since Shirobako barely touched about the seiyuu world.

The ED is really cute, kinda reminded me of Joshiraku's ED. I hope other seiyuu make cameo too.. didn't expect to see Goku there, man that voice is just unmistakable XD

THIS! Plus the nod to Evangelion with a copy of their title logo as the one used for the anime they dubbed this episode.

10/10 just for Zankoku na Tenshi!

The art ain't as great a Shirobako, but the theme is no less interesting, and since they're focusing more on the audio portion of this industry, I'm expecting some God-tier cameos from some God-tier seiyuus now.

I really liked this first episode. I don't think it's fair comparing it to Shirobako: It doesn't have to be Shirobako and neither is trying to be Shirobako. It does have some similarities (like the mascot and the explanation) but that doesn't mean much.

As a fan of the seiyuu area, I found it really fun. The only thing I don't like much is the art style, but it's nothing really that bad. I hope they'll throw more references! And I lol'ed at the ending, when it started playing "Zankoku na Tenshi". It's also really nice seeing the seiyuus for the main trio are all kind of new seiyuu and they are already doing a really good job (considering it's a hard one, they have to dub characters dubbing other characters, dubbing it wrong sometimes for example..)

As someone who is interested in doing voice acting work in Japan, I really appreciate a series like this. It was quite entertaining to watch.

"Pippoooooo!" I was expecting her to mess up, but not like that. Haha Everyone's reaction behind her was priceless. I loved it.

Can't wait to see more of this. I've been having withdrawals from lack of Shirobako, and I think that this series just might give me my fix.

So this is another Shirobako like anime huh? But it focuses how Seiyuu's life was.
This was interesting since I want to know more about the lives of the Seiyuu's behind those voices.
The animation good and the OP also ED was good. Might watch and listen to it's full version or it's Music Video as well.
And the very reason I'm watching this because Ayane Sakura was also here

Wish the MC did not look so much like Nagato Yuki, it's freakin distracting.

Other than that, I knew this would be some sort of Shirobako derivative, even down to the exposition via mascot (that freaky doll thing doesn't hold a candle to Roro & Mimuji though).
Still, it's a solid start and well worth keeping an eye on. Also can't help but give brownie points for zankoku no tenshi dammit!

I hope they realize what kind of a bar they've set for themselves, this show has a lot to live up to.
