| Sure, Shinji might be Takumi's strongest opponent.. But I just can't get into this guy. He seems so run of the mill. Only thing he has going for him is that he grew up on that course. |

| This was a very non-convincing explanation for Shinji's level... It didn't hit the mark at all, as to why he's supposed to be that talented. Not realistacally at least. Sad debut for a final. |

| A character that popped out of nowhere then the side giving out background for it is just poor writing, much worse with that personality. Never once i see someone able to compete with such, guess it only happens in anime. Just look forward to his battle with his dad if there is, no one else is a real challenge beside him now. |
| Picking up right where 5 left off. Obviously this race will last 4 episodes. Shinji isn't even trying. While Takumi is slower in corners for the first time. Should be exciting. |

| I just love how Keisuke surpassed the physical limits of his car, made a miracle happen, and won with the power of love, just like you would expect from a "seinen" anime. :) Oh, and Takumi is facing the "hardest race of his life" for the tenth time in a row, if only he were a genius that has been driving for a really long time like his opponent... Oh, wait, he is. I can't wait for all of the side commentaries that are still going to be made during the race, the amount we got just in this episode clearly wasn't enough. :) |

| The final season of this great anime! :D Shinji is truly a born talent. I feel that this time Takumi will lose for real not because of his car's malfunction, but because he met somebody better on the routerout of the battle. Just as when it was lomg time ago when noone could beat Takumi on Akina. |

| They definitely picked a great Opponent as Takumi's last, the kid literaly is what Takumi was on his home course, so beating him will be a damn insane challenge |
| Wasn't expecting to see Takumi to race a younger version of himself at the beginning, but this should be interesting(even tho I probably can already see how this is going to end) |

| Really great episode. The "hmm" "hmm" is so annoying man. Shinji is just like how Takumi was back then, Shinji has exceptional knowledge about the course but Takumi has more experience and skills whihc he gained by racing so many strong opponents thanks to Project D. Shinji sure is the toughest opponent for Takumi till now. Looking forward to how this ends. |

| first episode of the final stage and it was decent, music literally never disappoints. similar to how near was basically a younger L, shinji is basically a younger takumi and i care for neither near nor shinji. tho, i must say the no brake technique is new so that's interesting. takumi needs to rinse him. |

| First episode looking quite interesting So is this the counterpart of Takumi like in another universe except for Takumi and Bunta it's Shinji and his mom now stop getting any ideas because I already had some on my mind Anyways a nice introduction for Takumi's final opponent and would like the end of the race to be a bang, finally this was the battle I was waiting for 86 vs 86 Trueno vs Trueno a slight change from the door count but this is what I had in my mind it's the driver's skill that would end it all and I'm liking it too bad we didn't get to see Bunta vs his son well we already had seen Takumi got smoked on but I would like to see an official race between them. |
