| Heh, the sharp tones never ceases to amaze me in this show. If I drove like that...I'd be dead by now. Good episode and pacing especially in the latter half as they aim to be the strongest. |

| Well, that was unexpected. I'm not sure what to think of this development. I suppose Takumi will step it up now, Shinji will find the inspiration he's looking for and everyone will go home happy. |

| So, let's see... Shinji is so damn good because 1) He drove his sleeping mother (which basically plays the role of a glass of water) since he was 10, and that without having had the slightest of training 2) he knows the scenery so perfectly, since he observed the scenery from the passenger seat everyday for the last 12 years (cause its well-known, nothing ever changes during 12 years, no big deal) Conclusion : either the kid drove while sitting on the passenger seat, in which case he's extraordinarily talented, or all this is just bullshit. Seems legit. |

A race between Bunta and Takumi would be more epic than this race. Inui Shinji is just a copy-past of Takumi. But despite that, I liked this episode. |
| I really hate this cheap imitation for a fake Takumi. In a sense Takumi is challenged against himself, which should be great. But this is pure garbage when the author put it this way. |

| Nothing exciting here, lots of side commentaries with people saying just how amazing Shinji is, what they usually do with the opponents, but they are trying a bit harder here. The (un)pleasant emperor guy giving an explanation nobody wanted, not even the other emperor guy that was with him, and the people from that racing school. Well, there WAS something new: Iketani saying that they should believe in Takumi instead of saying that there is no way for him to win, it may be because he's racing against another 86 or something, or they just wanted to be original for once, and also the opponent letting Takumi take the lead because he wanted to see his "wings", but welp. |

| That would definitely trip me up hope Takumi pulls through and what could project D really mean I can think of 4 things Drive, Drift, Determination or if you wanna make it interesting it could be Project Defeat but i guess we’ll find out soon |

| Wasn't expected and was a bit predictable for Shinji's state since he's young but what you mean by you want to see wings bro should've just chased him instead well let's see how Takumi handles leading the race now I like that Mika is waiting patiently for Takumi I wonder what happened to Mogi I wanted at least a closure for what happens there probably moved on but I'm happy Mika and Takumi are together and probably for the best Now more music esp eurobeat is preferred, it's so pleasing to hear it in battles. |
