Introduction
I got into anime when I was 7 years old and I've been watching a lot non-stop ever since. I also studied Japanese and English literature to try my best to improve and compile my thoughts together. Speaking of thoughts, I accept friend requests! But only if you ask me permission for chatting. And you may realize about my monstrous mean scores, no I don't really hate anime. I just happen to be extremely critical.

Yea, when it comes to comedy, it's gonna be a hit or miss. You can try to appeal to various demographics or one specific one. Speaking of Nijika and Seika, it's pretty rare to find sisterhood character chemistry in animanga. When I read chapter 61, my opinion on the manga has changed. I'm just waiting for it to get adapted. Their relationship is just too endearing and I didn't expect it to be emotional >.<
I didn't find episode 8 to be emotional at all, but chapter 61 actually had something to offer.
Ah, what a nostalgic show for me. I forgot everything that I've seen from that show which is why I haven't updated it on my MAL. I do plan on watching it right before the third season comes out.
I'm not having high expectations but the movie has a premise with potential.
It does. Which is why I don't post reviews often. I posted only 1 review and it's been over two years since.
ZephSilver and Fleure were the reason I decided to post my first review. They inspired me to improve my writing at a higher level so I had to teach myself and improve my vocabulary.
SubaHibi is a great philosophical story whose recursive nesting structure reflects its interesting ideas about subjectivity. It's like Joker but in a visual novel lol. I think that's a big misconception with visual novels. Though it is true that a lot of visual novels are eroge since it's a niche medium, (it still is) so they had to find a way to increase their sales. Even some of the most critically acclaimed visual novels are eroge.
I think you should check out Baldr Sky. I just finished it and it's one of the most unique visual novels I've played so far. With a great ending.
I can't stop listening to Yoru no Himawari. Ethereal, atmospheric, and bittersweet. I get a profound sense of peace, but at the same time, it's melancholic.
When you're ready to move on, but you have to leave something that you hold dear behind. I sometimes listen to it when I think about life as I'm looking at a scenery. It is just cathartic.
The comedy isn’t always reliant on being relatable and is presented in a way that even extroverted people can understand and laugh at. The supporting cast of characters are equally charming and contribute to the comedy in their own special ways, meaning the show isn’t being carried on one character’s back. Not all of Bocchi’s relatability is confined to people with social anxiety either. For example, there is a scene about cringing at one’s own past actions. We’ve all done cringeworthy things that our brain constantly reminds us about when we’re trying to sleep, right?
Oh yea, I already see that. I feel it has a lot of artistic value as well rather than it being an emotional movie. I'll let you know what I think of it once I re-watch it. My opinion might change, or not. I did enjoy Liz and the Blue Bird more than Hibike that's for sure.
Yamada's works are literally wholesome, and I love it. I'm looking forward to Kimi no Iro.
Yea, they first made changes around August 2022. I want it back tbh.
The reviews can be quite lengthy. I'm sure you can tell already, but some of them might be hard to understand since some of them are poetic or have high level writing, but I think you can appreciate them still. Speaking of lengthy reviews, here's the longest review I have seen so far with good writing.

I decided to check out more of her reviews, they're not bad. I like her Tokyo Re 2nd season and Kara no Kyoukai review the most.
SubaHibi is going well so far! Quite a powerful story. It's a mix of excellent storytelling, characters, and intelligence with thought-provoking themes. I'm currently at the "It's My Own Invention" chapter. The ost hits as well. This is my favorite soundtrack so far.

Unfortunately, they rarely watch anime anymore. They watch film now. I don't blame them since seasonal anime is in a bad state. They have seen a good amount of anime. Since I have seen a lot of anime, aside from seasonal shows, it's hard to come across something that's enjoyable compared to film. I can switch but I love animation a lot more than live-action. Especially with anime, they can clearly show what animation is capable of, and has shown the best of it compared to cartoons. (e.g., Perfect Blue)
It's funny since you said pretentious. Unironically, it's one of the most overused words toxic users use whenever they bash on a reviewer on a show they give a low rating to their favorite show. Of course, I'm not denying there are reviews like that, but you'll see reviewers that actually well articulated, elaborate on their points, and explain everything about how they feel about a show rather than it being a basic plot summary.
