Unpopular Opinion:
Norn9+Nornette > MadeInAbyss
in terms of Soundtrack.

This guy's music is insanely good. God tier. Can't wait for the Tower of God OST to be released.

The best thing about Kevin Penkin is that this is basically very early into his career - meaning that he has plenty of music to release in the future. Prior to Made in Abyss, he hadn't composed much music. Since Made in Abyss, he's suddenly being picked for other big shows - first Shield Hero, now Tower of God. Can't wait to see the other shows he composes music for.

Wow. This guy is insane. Even if you didn't like any of the shows he's worked on, it is undeniable that his composition was at least compelling.

Made In Abyss, Shield Hero, and now Tower of God

I'm looking forward to his success with other anime in the future.

In terms of technical skill, currently outdoing himself with Tower of God. Made in Abyss has a more successful soundtrack but the tracks so far for three episodes have been insane - e.g. that moment in Ep 3 featuring a sudden shift from the deep electronic bass drop (Khun's thinking about ____) to piano (Bam's concern). Best part of the show so far.

I knew that the Kami no Tou's OST sounds familiar.
