'MF Ghost' Unveils Cast, Additional Staff, Third Promo

The official website of the television anime adaptation of Shuuichi Shigeno's MF Ghost manga revealed the cast, additional staff, key visual (pictured), and a third promotional video on Wednesday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2023.

Tomohito Naka (New Initial D Movie: Legend 2 & 3) is directing the anime series at Felix Film, with Kenichi Yamashita (Jitsu wa Watashi wa) handling the series composition. Yamashita is also penning the script with Akihiko Inari (Inazuma Eleven). Naoyuki Onda (Psycho-Pass 3) is designing the characters, and Akio Dobashi (Yozakura Quartet) is composing the music.

Shigeno began the car-themed sports manga in Weekly Young Magazine in September 2017, approximately four years after concluding Initial D. Kodansha published the 15th volume on September 6. Kodansha USA released the tenth volume digitally in English last January.

I watched all of the Inital D anime back in June/July of 2021. So this will be my first new series.

Hooray, Eurobeat is back! That was my biggest complaint about the Inital D movies - which just used regular guitar OST.

Last time they used jrock etc, a large amount of people wouldn't watch the Legend series because it wasn't Eurobeat, like a child that won't eat it's vegetables

I finished initial d just today and these guys released a new key visual, this feels divine lol. I am really fucking hyped for this, don't care if it lives up to the og. I am glad we got a car anime.

You are right! Very good choice for anime adaptation! There are not so decent works in such genre execpt Initial D, Speedy Racer, Capeta.
