First season had its ups and downs but it was great to watch. I hope that the second season will be of the same level or better.

there is currently some fuss in the sakuga community because lot of experienced animator replaced with newer one. and the PV showed up soo far is the done by old animator while there is nothing from new staff showed up. made some concern about that the show quality will decline, which the only reason sakuga community really interested in this series to begin with.

Well its time for me to play catch-up for this show.

From the amount I've seen it's been pretty enjoyable. I won't say it's great, but I will say this is a good shounen series in my honest opinion.

Again, gotta have to catch up to the series so I can see the sequel.

Tamaki is best female character in that show. She is so cute. I love her personality

but I hope Tamaki's fanservice isn't as in your face as it was in season one. Hopefully she'll actually fight without fan service getting in the way.

thats hopeless but she will have less screen time if that makes it better

I quite like the animation and the story has potential, so I'm excited to see where the series goes....but I hope Tamaki's fanservice isn't as in your face as it was in season one. Hopefully she'll actually fight without fan service getting in the way.

Good staff change imo. Lots of people weren't a fan of the constant pauses between dialogues and such. Hope the series ends with a bang. Happy retirement

This anime is the epitome of something that is far less than the sum of its parts.

Is Tamaki going to remain a trashy useless fanservice character that serves ABSOLUTELY NO PURPOSE to this show aside from appeasing to the virgin horndogs? She completely kills my enjoyment of this otherwise good show everytime she appears.

Like get that ecchi shit out of here and maybe, this show can actually reach its potential.

May 22, 2020 7:12 AM by jc9622

I wasn't too fond of Season 1 so here's to hoping this'll be better. Hopefully, this'll prove to be the case with the change in Director.

Really glad that the scheduling for this show is great though, I wasn't expecting this to come out in July until earlier today.

Aimer in charge of an Op/ED is always hype!

May 22, 2020 5:14 AM by _MushiRock11_

Looking forward to Aimer's new op.

May 22, 2020 3:35 AM by MegamiRem

Not a huge fan of this show and Tamaki is one of the worst female anime characters I have came across.

But...

I did enjoy some aspects of the show so I might as well just watch this anyways.

Also, about Aimer, I know her music isn't for everyone to like. In fact, I wasn't a fan of her music in the past either. But then I listened to "I beg you" and now I look forward to listening to more of her songs, including this one (and Fire Force also has some banger OP's).

Oh how I hoped it would be canceled. No? Round two it is then...

I don't know how the manga progresses but they have to turn this season into a huge fightfest for me to enjoy. That was season 1's redeeming quality. I don't like aimer but it's just the opening, I'll manage.

The main problem is that this is the only redeeming quality for that series. Neither decent story, nor serious narrative, are present. In comparison to other "shounens", it is just an original setting with a ton of generic tropes mixed in. I cannot appreciate even the effort the animators put into several fights, because the fights themselves are bland, lacking clever direction and thought-out choreography.

As for the aimer, the more I see her in those generic, valueless series, the less I respect her as a singer. Gradually, it would take a dozen more such series, she will lose all her shine and become the point of obsession for the masses.
