Credit's a bit incorrect there, it should be:

Chief Animation Director : Mai Matsuura, Kie Tanaka, Ryousuke Ootani
Main Animator : Yutaka Kamogawa

It's kinda unexpected to see Yutaka Kamogawa's name there, especially in this kind of project (Chinese-Japanese co production it seems).

I thought he will be working with Taniguchi Goro in his new anime, but then I remember that's a CG show. lol.

Today I learned even Chinese light novels can seem like something written by a teenager.

Premise sounds dumb, but these kind of stories really depend on execution. xD

MAL entry now up: https://myanimelist.net/anime/33771/Cheating_Craft

I hadn't quite registered that it was a short. AWESOME. Shorts are my bread and butter, even the bad ones. It's extremely hard to make me feel like I wasted my time watching shorts. I even enjoyed Pan de Peace.

I guess I'll check it out to see how it turns out.

The synopsis sounds more retarded as hell.

Music by Go Sakabe: Resuscitated Hope from Gosick and provider of undeservedly amazing work for Date A Live (songs and score) and SoniAni. Super Sonico got one of my favorite character leitmotifs ever, given to an otaku-pandering waifu-bait corporate mascot character in an overall mediocre show, because life is not fair.

I'm 28 and a lifelong fan of soundtrack music. Godlike Sakabe is the only composer for whom I'll watch anything just to hear his scores.

Oddly enough, Hatsukoi Monster turned out to be one of the most enjoyable shows I followed this season. Probably won't be so lucky next time, but his music elevates everything it touches, as MakiMakio wrote on Sakabe-san's page:

MakiMakio said:
That main theme for Seiken Tsukai no World Break... simply stunning. Prime example of how a great OST can elevate a not terribly remarkable anime to a whole other level.

Even a reviewer who gave SoniAni 3 out of 10 said this:

Perisher said:
The OST was easily one of the best this season. Many scenes felt particularly magical thanks to an inspiring musical backdrop. (...) It’s fair to say that the anime lacked in a few critical areas, but the music was spot-on every time.

A series with a loose foundation only the character designs looks great also no 24 min episode = bad news

Also chinese Cupid's Chocolates was too short and the cheap, but the show turned out pretty interesting.

Short length series..

Yeah, I don't have much hopes for this although I am curious about the novel as I've heard about it before.

Where do they find all these weird things to adapt??

This airs in less than one month, it's related to the Chinese, has garbage staff. What a tough choice.

Sep 6, 2016 9:10 AM by Paulo27

Assuming it gets subbed, or dubbed. I will probably end up watching it.
