Ah Jail, he deserved that slap to the face. I mean, I know he's probably trying to do the right thing (in his mind anyways) but...damn.

Somehow, we get some lewd moments with the shadowy hands on the ladies LOL. Mizuka is still a very weird character tbh. That could've gotten more ugly. This other timeline they're in feels so different...

Hina wants some love too lol

Did dude just pull out a porn magazine during a meeting? Goated. Absolute legend

This SSU general is no joke, looks like he’s got spies in Jail’s unit too

So what I’m gathering from the situation is that there’s not an isekai situation, but Licht and Sunohara are from modern japan and plunderer either is an alternate dimension or just a post apocalyptic timeline

Nana also looks to have been apart of Licht’s unit which explains everything she knows.

Either way I’m really excited to see the second cour of the series. People like to shit on this show , but it’s probably my favourite of the 25 I’m watching this season. Love the world, premise, concepts and the characters. Yes it’s ecchi and edgy at times but that makes it even better for me.

Oh so it's a post-apocalyptic setting rather than an isekai then? Well.. alright, that works too

The story has really gone down some really unexpected directions the last couple episodes. Not sure what to think of it yet but hey if nothing else at the very least it's more unique this way

Nana is an Ace after all, if I'm not mistaken she more like a re winder who can travel time and fixed whatever went wrong.......

But there is another Ace in the group where Jail, Hina and Mei where in and

Despite some weird tonal dissonance thanks to the creepy black hands and the supreme commander guy, this episode was actually pretty good. We start to get some answers about the Aces and the legendary war, as well as the secret Nana had been hiding from the group. I always found it weird that Nana just knew Licht on a personal level without really explaining why, but this episode gave us a much-needed answer. Plunderer took its sweet time giving viewers a hook and I'm happy to say that it paid off big time. Hopefully, next week's episode will keep up the momentum and deliver more answers about the characters and their backstories.

Well, I kinda felt Nana knew Licht much more than she pretended : guess we've got the explanation now.

It seems the next arc is going very different compared to the one in those 11 episodes : we shall see !

Let's hope they don't ruin the next arc like they did to chapter 9/10.
But at this point i'm not having my hopes up.

But anyway we are about to see some great backstories and here is where Jail really shines.

Those lewd Althing hands are a thing of comedy now, aren't they?

And meanwhile with Jail Murdoch, he's summoned to the royal capital from Supreme Commander Alexandroff...for some "family bonding" time. Who knows they're related.

But the real danger is the Alcian Special Services Unit, of which Licht is considered a red herring and a target, the Legendary Red Baron Aces leader.

Nana's slap is an awakening to Jail's "by the book" behaviour, and a much needed one in the case of Licht's condition. But I'd never expected her to be another Ace, she's the literate "Ace in the Hole". With that, Jail and the others Isekai-ed back to 300 years ago, the modern world before the Waste Wars happened.

What kind of secrets that time untold 300 years ago will unfold to change, we'll only know next episode.

Good episode, the story seems to have finally taken off and even the animation wasn't that bad.
But we need to talk about this comedy, without conditions, it's ruining the anime.
For example, DxD is one of my favorite animes, so you can take perverted characters and make a joke. Even dragon ball master Kame is another example. Now plunderer's "perversion" jokes are far from funny, and may even be called sick. If you think the plunderer comedy is funny, I recommend that you see an urgent psychologist. Or just send me your address, so I can call the police here in no time.

Whaaaaa? In a way that was expected after earlier twists, but it's super weird way to go with story nonetheless. I kinda like it.

Finally Hina had some chance to be fun. This and cooking episode really make her a bit better than another boring deredere.

So prizing women's legs open to look at their panties doesn't make him a dick? I like fan service as much as the next guy but the way this show goes about it is cringeworthy

What we have learned from this episode:

- Pepe still does not contribute to the story or team in any way
- Althing are sentient and have actual personality. They are even capable of communication.
- Comedy is still garbage and limited to molesting and fanservice
- Jail has daddy issues
- Star Stake can last potentially indefinitely and cannot be called off
- At this point it is obvious that Nana is one of the Legendary Aces
- There is obviously way more to the Alexandrov than is being told. His glasses are unusual, especially the flame pattern and red lenses. Also, I doubt that porn mags are common there. Maybe he is also from modern day Japan?
- Nazis are serving the royal family and they have ears and eyes everywhere
- Licht and Sonohara used to attend the same school in modern day Japan

So they are going back in time in order to save/help Licht?
This is getting interesting.

Holy shit this story really fucking threw a curve ball out since episode 8.

So, the setting for the show is actually the future after the world was destroyed?
And the “past” from 300 years ago more closely resembles a fictional take on modern day japan, but with magical elements as well.

Does the count and abyss exist 300 years ago in that era of Japan as well? Or were they side effects of the waste war and magical experimentation that was going on? From the next episode preview we can see that Schmerman is the same age 300 years ago as he is currently, so this magical ballot augmentation has existed for quite some time. Are the SSU some like secret Stasi shadow organization running things for centuries then? Since they “serve the royal family”, but a royal family shouldn’t exist in the 300 years pat Japan. They also have access to weaponry that’s both advanced, and 300 years old. They also hold knowledge on flight a secret. Why? People who have the technology to fly won’t start mass producing apaches and fighter jets, so what is it about flying that makes it such an important piece of knowledge that only the SSU have it for 300 years?

Also what exactly is the abyss and Althing then? We know it pulls people into the abyss when their count is zero, but it also opens holes to let Apache helicopters come out. Just like the plane girl hypothesized as she got dragged down. It seems to imply that people don’t actually die there.

What do they plan on doing in the past to “save” Licht? Make him not become an Ace? If they fuck with the past it’ll change the future.

The story has raised so many interesting questions now, and they all connect back to the SSU since they’ve existed for 300 years too. And their motives are certainly deeper than wanting Licht to plunder other nations. They could’ve conquered everyone and taken all goods and money from places after the aces massacres everyone and destroyed technology during the waste wars. Going around and plundering other nations for their land/crops/money/etc seems like a pointless motive, and something that they could’ve had Sonohara and an Apache do single handedly.

I've seen lots of pervy anime if you care to have a look at my list. I quite like ecchi, this isnt really ecchi the MC just gropes women. Hybred Heart is another one that went too far. And regardless of all this the show is total Shit.

Ok ok ok. This anime ecchi scenes sometimes are all over the place, I agree. After the first 4 episodes I was very close to dropping it.
But I'm glad I didn't. It actually has an interesting story. This episode ecchi moment was also less over the place. I don't if it's because the start lowered my spectations so much that it now seems like a good anime.

I have to admit, the last episode had the feel of a story that was written by a class of school kids each taking turns to decide what happens next, and in some parts this one did too. But it never fails to entertain me, especially after a long day when I'm particularly tired and need something that won't put me to sleep but also doesn't require me to do much in the way of thinking. It's a useful and valid form of entertainment ^_^

I already know what is the problem with this anime. Plunderer generally has good twists -except for that Jail powerup in episode 10- but it several comedy scenes are in bad moments if you ask me. I hope that in the second half improves this aspect.

As the first half ended, its 5/10 more or less.
