| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hmm, this was actually more dramatic than I had expected. Also, the character designs looks like it's from the trailer of the game. Tsugumi seems like a very friendly girl though but I wonder if she can carry this show. This episode also featured the butler guy a lot. I'm guessing this show will chronicle her own experiences in dealing with personal demons. Not impressed by the other guys so far but it's the first episode so maybe the characterization will improve. I felt this episode was so-so. One plus I did find about the show is the piano music. | Agreed. I am actually a fan of the dramatics but I too hope the other cast picks it up. I guess this is only the first episode, I will give a couple before I start forming more of an opinion on its quality. |

| Showing the main group's job, to get "forbidden" books. OP is nice. Main girl has an arranged marriage set by her father and her brother doesn't want to get her "sold". She didn't tell her brother sooner because she cares for him. She has a kind heart and strong mind. He burnt himself, though. She felt guilty for wanting to commit suicide, but the two guys from the group appeared and said it's book's fault. "Waremono" Feeling in the book by the author... When the book was delivered, only she can see burning on the book. She has the power to see it, so KajiKaji's character invited her to join them. His word is too simple and straightforward that it sounded like a confession and Nobu's character hinted about it. Next day, a lady from the group came to pick her up. Seems like she's their boss?! Main girl cut her hair short and decided to join the group. Wow, narrator + enter of ED (both by Shimono-san!). |

| Oh wow, I surprisingly loved this. Amazing OP & ED. I did like the main female character but I'm gonna need more from her in terms of characterization. |

| What a nice first episode. It reminds me of Karneval a lot. I really like concept of cursed books. But I feel like we're going to see some harem-like moments, especially after seeing ED. But oh well. I'm interested already, can't wait for more. |

| This is an otome adaptation, isn't it? I was entertained for the whole episode. Seems like it has a good central premise aside from "watch this cute girl be fawned over by a dozen gorgeous guys." Kind of getting a Code: Realize vibe from it. Hope it turns out better than that though. |

| Not sure how I feel about the MC...so far a little disappointed, but I'm looking forward to seeing her character growth after working at Fukurou. I'm also excited to see all of the male characters (love their voice actors) x) I really like the op and ed songs :) I think it might be one of my favorite openings this season, same for the ending song (though the visuals caught me a little off guard fufufu~). |

| One of these season anime which I'm curious finally started :) I like OP song and animation, kinda started thought about Kekkai Sensen" ending theme when I watched it :) Song is pretty cool and kinda catchy :D As for ED theme... well... I couldn't stop giggle, because some pictures where like... "oh, too much for me... this is just too much" I was pretty shocked that right now they did such fanservice xD But some pictures are nice~~ very nice~~~ As for plot... I really want some good shoujo series with some action, really it was pretty long time since I watched some good reverse harem with good heroine, so please... let this series be good *.* Plus, look at that seiyuu cast ♥ |

| I came in expecting literally nothing (seriously, i didn't even read the synopsis before watching) and I feel I want to drop this 5 times already. This feels like it was written by a Tumblr user as fanfiction for another bad anime. I'll probably give it a try for a second episode but I doubt something this stupid and bad could even pick up. Opening and endings songs are pretty catchy, though. |
| For an otome game adaptation, I actually think its decent. I loved the animation. Also, we don't have a heroine that blushes and falls in love at first sight. The same for the guys, they stayed quite professional before her... I'll stick for next episode to see if it improves. |

| usually otome adaptions are pretty shit. but i'm just halfway glad the girl seems to have somewhat of a personality (i hope it grows) and the guys aren't rude dicks to her like they are in a lot. i won't get my hopes up but a decent start! evil books, oh my. |
| Haven't watched yet, but the character designs seem beautiful! I'm going to wait this out and see if the main character ends up choosing one specific guy in the end because I NEED that closure. |

| The Code:Realize feel hasn't left me since ever watching that as my first entrance into an otome adaptation last year... And this one is predictable as well to the entrance of the story towards the girl MC having an affection for one of the male MCs...but have to see then... For now, everything is fine, OP and ED are good, a step up from Code:Realize. |

| Well, i had no idea this was an adaptation of an otome game, but the key art and such did give my that insinuation. Was an alright first ep, but its kinda screaming "im average" at the top of its lungs. Liked the OP quite a bit though. |

| It was fine. The mystery and drama were interesting but we only learnt about the general stuff. I hope it will be increasingly interesting from now on because this episode was just establishing the premise. But it was a good start. |

| Nice episode. I would do just some minor changes like changing the heroine for a boy and the chalant boys for cute/hot girls, but all the rest was perfect and it's an interesting start. I'll probably watch a few more to see how the mystery develops. And remember, always start the change in your life changing your hair. |

| From the PVs I was expecting something reminiscent of Fushigi Yugi- far as character design goes the main reminds me a lot of Miaka and the whole involvement with a cursed book. I'm interested to see where the show actually goes. |

Have this problem sometimes with ecchi too, they shouldn't bother to tell a story when they don't do shit with it xD |

| Uhh..... Yeah.... -_-; T-that opening, though... WTF?! The F@¢k did I just watch?! Seriously..... They could have done SO MANY different (coughbettercough) things, than THAT mess. It would be fine if it wasn't set in the time period it is! That opening gave off a whole different feel from what I saw after. What was that "goose neck" type of movement of their heads when she was changing guys and sorta, kinda, half dancing with them......? Those clothes.... Is she a magical girl?! A freakish fantasy realm princess?! And, did they pull a puppy out of the Jewpet series? That thing looked creapy and cute at the same time. It was so cute it was creepy. Being in a show like this, there should be normal animals. Not strange (freaky) panda/puppy hybrids with insanely FUZZY & LONG tails with GEMSTONES adorning them! Whoever thought to make an opening like THAT, must have been high or drunk, or something. An opening is supposed to represent the series. The "feel" of said series..…. That thing had me wellistracted, that I missed the first 12 minutes of the episode and had to rewatch it. Occasionally I have seen strange-ass openings. But not many of them totally suck at displaying the feel of the show! Or misrepresent the series so well. I don't know what to think about this episode, because the opening and the show itself both gave off such different impressions.... |

| Okay so first of all WHAT THE HELL. How do you go from such a dark and depressing start to POTENTIAL JAM OF THE SEASON Like that. That just confused the hell out of me, like, what the heck kind of mood are they going for here? Anyway, this anime has a pretty low score... and I... can kind of understand why. I don't really care for the art style or character designs, and the story isn't as interesting as I thought it would be so far, actually it's kind of boring. I'll probably stick around for a couple of weeks to see where this goes but I can't see myself finishing this. |

Ugh, the art, voices, and overall feel reminds me of Diabloic Lovers..... not good at all The opening was "what the heck" and the ending was just pure manservice, which is a turn off -- I couldn't care less about that stuff, even though I'm a girl And finally I read some reviews from people who played the game, and its a smut otome-- yeah... nope |
