| Inany case , even Gil isnt an archer , or in other words, he isnt using a bow. Even his personal NP is a "sword" that opens hole in reality itself. I dont see how FSN Archer is so weird, especially when Ilya actually used a BOW. |

| 5/5 We just passed the goal, has already has arrived at these levels? Not bad. Narrative a bit obvious, but the battle is worth all the time spent. Promoted! Discreet design, you can do better, animations, excellent sight of the type of production. I hope from now on the level does not drop too much, it would be a shame. The soundtrack was decent. |

| Wowwwww, that was really good. Great fight, Illya is awesome. I did not expect to see a transformation like that to happen. She looks great in Archer's clothes. :) Oh and I heard AT LEAST two remixed songs from F/SN. Nice touch there. Makes me happy.  Illya + Archer + Excalibur = Badass. |

| DAMN THAT WAS SO EPIC!!!! This however reminds me of how broken archer classes are in FATE. Gilgamesh is one thing but Hero Emiya is complete bullshit op when he puts his mind into it. STILL, as I commented earlier... there you are, we don't need magic girls at all. What's the point of magic girls in Fate series anyway. On the other hand gaining the power of heroic spirits is so much more fitting for fate series! All that flying, magical beam and those damn sticks!... F**K THAT. In any case if we seen excalibur in this episode then for the final fight we must see Illya's version of: I am the bone of my sword Steel is my body and fire is my blood. I have created over the thousand blades Unknown to death, nor known to life. Have withstood the pain to crate many weapons Yet, those hands will never hold anything. So as I pray... Unlimited blade works! Hahaha... it's 2016 right now and I remember learning this 10 years ago. Still so awesome, and I still remember it perfectly! (BTW this quote being said fully in 2006 version is 100x better than any fails that they did in FATE/UBW of ufotable) |

| Wow, this is fucking awesome My only complaint is that Illya did not recite the entire "I am the bone of my sword" mantra The Rin / Luvia banter favorably reminds me of the similar tsundere / ojousama Lina-Naga rivalry in Slayers, though Rin and Luvia are considerably more mean-spirited |
| Probably the 3rd best Fate so far, only behind Zero and HF. If I'm not mistaken, Archer's traced weapons are supposed to be weaker so I was kind of lost how Illya won but last episode they said Saber was just the shallow copy of Arthuria. That makes sense. So that Noble Phantasm was the bare minimum of power it possesses since to use its full power the real Saber must be there otherwise you contradict episode 15 of Fate/Zero. So yeah, it makes sense. |
| Man, just why 10 episodes anime series getting 2 minutes of same content from last episode.. I hoped it would be one episode last time, but again we're getting this.. It's just annoying, but I don't want to skip to not miss anything.. It's really annoying.. And it's 10 episodes series.. And make me more annoyed with that constant arguing between Rin and Luvia.. Time well spent, lol.. So Illya herself became a hero spirit or something?.. Well, even with shit not to my taste start, rest of the episode was pretty epic fight.. Got goosebumps sometimes.. |

| Epic episode. Transformation, fight and Emiya OST were just pure awesome. The only part I don't understand is how Illya was able to trace Excalibur, my understanding was that UBW didn't allow traces of Divine Constructs. Even then, how was she able to overpower Excalibur Morgan with a copy? |

| I haven't seen this in 6 years, and this episode was just as amazing as I remembered, if not more so. This is how you make a great fight scene. Proper build up to actually get watchers invested and to portray Saber Alter as a seemingly indomitable force. The usage of flashy yet still technically sound visuals to make the fight a visual success. Plus the incorporation of a variety of fighting techniques to keep the battle fresh so it's not just a boring clash of blades. Finally, it ends with an epic explosive finale on the grandest of scales. Brilliant. Oh, and the Archer Illya design is amazing. And this came from the comedy spin off series featuring cute lolis. Amazing job Silver Link! |
