DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The Old man Sugi- creepy scars among the few americans there was a good one, the back ground music before the boxing was cool. Some people watch this anime to finish what they started but i really enjoyed this episode |

| there might be about 28 episodes or around that. Because they are also doing a sakuragi arc at the end, Turtle,Solider and last is sakuragi. |

| So far, 10 volumes of the manga have been animated. and we still have exactly 12 more to go. I don't see a filler ending to tell you the truth, because instead of their typical urge to adapt successful manga in an instant, they actually for the third time(Monster being first and Death Note being second) waited patiently for the manga's conclusion. remember Rainbow was scheduled to air last spring, but it aired this spring. coincidence? I don't think so. But I could be wrong, madhouse could always show their true colors and disappoint us all. |

| I really love this anime, It shows how ppl lived hard during that time and teach morals..Spoon, he si stubbourn but i love his encouregement.. MArio, i hope i like someone like u as a husband...he cares about his friend^_^ |

| The old man's scars weren't THAT shocking. In those days you'd have to live in a hole to actually don't notice how cruel the world can be when it comes to money .. Poor Turtle got himself a few very big and bad enemies... |

| Very engaging episode... I'm really feeling for Turtle though. I wonder how he'll react about the big hospital idea.. x.x but he might need it even more after this experience. |

| Still 2 surprises that broke the trend...a few Americas who arent displayed as heartless bastards and an old man who isnt a pedophile (granted the bath was a little creepy). This arc looks nice, plus anyone see any MarioxLilly happening, just saying. Still it looks like Soldier got left out if this is only gonna be 26 episodes. |

| For now i am taking the news that it is 26 as a good sign. I hate to start watching it, but i enjoy it. I hate how cliche and predictable the arcs are, but how the content pertaining it is actually pretty good. The cyclical nature hasn't gotten boring yet so if they can pull off an ending we're all good. It should be pretty easy since they could end it after any arc they have made so far; there is no overlap between them really. |

| Amazing episode! I'm really liking this Turtle/Lily arc, its just so good! Probably the second best arc so far following behind Joe's arc. Heck, it might even be better! |

| Them scars are creepy and sad. Poor old man, he's so kind, yet some people who lend money are just terrible people who won't pay back...ugh. If only he wasn't a frail old man I'm sure it would be a little different. Which brings to the question...Suppon. He's not really frail I guess, but he's tiny. I can't see him being successful like Sugimoto. I realize that he wants to move forward to become happy, but still, it's not the only way to do it. Plus he's really going to be risking his life to do this, not to mention the after effects of the radiation. He definitely has it the worst :( Poor Mario too, it's heartbreaking to see him cry because he knows he can't do anything for Suppon, the one that's always there for everyone else. Lily too, I can understand her anger, not being able to do much except rely on men and then being looked down upon by the soldiers. At least they met Jeffery and were able to find a doctor that will take a look at Suppon. Lastly, Mario's right hand...seen it once before with the scar, but another look at it and I remember that terrible scene. |

| It was obvious that Sugi had to have some scars, but they were horrible. Suppon is in big trouble, because of the radiation and because he wont to collect the debt from those guys. Mario boxed again against Jeffrey. |
