am not such a big Yu-gi-oh fan really. i watched the first saga and some of the next anime and i liked, but i didnt get into the card game and stuff ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
should i act surprised about Naruto? jajaj irdk if its cuz of the regional issue or my early interests, but before Naruto arrived i had already seen a few anime "knowing" that they were anime. the classic shonen like DBZ or Saint seiya and other franchises like digimon or pokemon i watched differentiating them from other cartoons. my first anime (this didn't know was different from other cartoons tho) was Sailoor Moon. then, with a mostly femele leads i saw Slayers and some years later Sakura Card Captors.
my habit of consuming anime/manga is quite infrequent. around my 12 watched everything i found on tv and then watched sporadically. around my 19 i compulsively watched again but buying/borrowing the complete series recorded. and saw only sporadically. and a few years ago i started to see more "seasonal" with the streming. i watched KnY on the same year it released but a season later, it didn't quite catch my eye, the thick lines seemed awkward to me. but a friend started sending me memes that didn't understand so i *had* to catch up and it really is sooo good.
mmm just off the top of my head, any of this ma'am's scripts are drama and unrequited love (probably not all, but most of them). ranked to me: Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo or Anohana. and any of this man's scripts are drama and psychological plot. ranked to me: Sarazanmai and Utena
i saw you didnt fishish 3-gatsu no Lion, and the second season still dramatic but some achievements make you feel comforted among so many sadly things. Mononoke Hime, my studios ghibli's fav, has a fantastic plot. also drama/adventure elements and the most great OST from the studio imo.
to cry your heart out or not believe so many misfortunes: Bokura ga Ita with such a cliché premise, wouldn't think that everything turned so twist and turn. the art is very watery color and think it aged quite well but since the manga was ongoing at the time, its adapted until just before a time-skip and it was unfinished. Oniisama e an old school drama with slaps, lies, manipulations, monologues and cheesy phrases. the end is a bit different than the manga cuz censorship of the time i guess. Given BL without the horrible cliché of romanticizing non-consent. wholesome atmosphere and great plot pacing with a piece of emotional drama and so nice use of music. the movie doesnt feel so accomplished, but drama is not lacking
and last but not least (?) Kono Oto Tomare, also about music and with a rather "spokon" premise of a club about to close, but here almost all the characters have dramatic backgrounds. the anime's very interesting cuz it has sound jajaj, but i feel that the manga feels more dramatic. although its unfinished, i considers it a fair adaptation
yup! more people doing that fun thing. sometimes someone does the same but not for long T◡T
weeeell, i listed series i watched since i was eight. if we do the math, just cuz of the possibility of my age it's a LOT of years of watching anime (and fiction in general) and many of these repetitions are due to the broadcast on tv. but i feel you on prefer some cracks on yt than the series itself, that happens to me with a few that i left holding on
gracias for the compliment to the layout, it entertained me for a while but i really like how it turned out. between the four main characters in HxH, am Kurapika's team but love them all. also i like some of the recurring support and enemies. i did the horimiya layout before the anime came out, maybe later update it with material from the series, but the official art from the manga is really cute. mmmm am enjoying this anime version for now. the OVAs have achieved a better characters adaptation but a good budget in visuals was not noticeable at all. they've skipped scenes in the current season that "shortened" some developments, but the humor and romance are there. to me, Horimiya is a rom-com with a conflicting premise of possible misunderstandings, with a small amount of drama but with a wholesome development that ends up becoming entirely a SoL
do you want drama for crying or to get angry at so many misunderstandings? am going to check our shared list to check what you haven't seen and what i do and i'll recommend something
glad to see someone likes my silly habit ajajaj. i guess started to have fun cuz i like pictures more than words, and now it's kinda my way. naisu fav list btw ^w^
