Hi! I just read your review of Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, and to be honest, I was wary of even attempting to watch it. I'm a straight, happily married female who just... finds boys love stories so damn cliche and for the most part, fanservice for girls. After reading your review I am going to give it a shot though, because I am tired of searching and searching for new shoujo to watch (my preferred genre). I've watched almost everything that didn't have to do with magic, and even some that have. I feel the need to branch out a bit, so thanks for the neutral outlook in your review. Knowing there is a backstory that isn't just cheese and fanservice, helped me find something new to watch.
