| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode was alright. It seems they're slowly developing the main cast on the court. Sora's character relationship with the others is slowly growing as well too. However, the gap in score of the match....damn. I also kinda find it interesting with the transition between past and present scenes. |

| Tokiwa totally stopped sora there. They should have let momoharu dunk at the times since he can and that would have opened opportunities for sora's team rather than relying on a single guy and failing to score. Chiba actually blushed after tokiwa's compliment! |

| Little reality check for Sora, he was really pushed to his physical and mental limits there, but of course he wouldn't give up so easily and he adapted to the situation pretty well. I may sound like a broken record, but this animes execution is so damm good. Essentially how the ideal sports shounen is supposed to be like. |

| Those 3 idiots that didn't know the rules of the game and them explaining it to each other reminded me of Slam Dunk lol. Sora's got a big ass heart in that tiny body of his, he stands out so much cause you'd literally notice him at glance cause of how small he is compared to the others in the court. That girl style shoot at the end tho, was both cool and funny at the same time, I didn't even know girls has their own style of shoots until this episode, tho it did look girly but what matters is, it went in! NEP seems like it'll be a Chiaki focus, which Im not a fan of, I don't really like him and how flimsy/irresponsible he is when it comes to the game and probably anything. |

| Suddenly a weakness is discovered and exploited. Suddenly the team is one man short. Suddenly Sora's arm is injured. Suddenly everything happens at once that can bring Kuzu down and boost Maru up! ...I don't even recall when they got left in the dust so much that the other team had three times as many points as they did?? |
| So Sora's cold spot on the court is the left side and now their team is a man short with no substitutions. Sora's team not knowing the rules show how inexperienced they are. It's going to take a miracle for them to come back from a huge deficit. |

| Sweet mother of Jesus Mary! Are you telling me this is 50 MF episodes, damn. This series is so sleepy compared to other sports anime I've watched. I get it most of them are immature with those overhyped moves, but they still make my blood boil, no matter who says what. This one makes me think of another sports anime, every time I'm watching. It's like dating someone, but you're still hung up on that person who gave you good sex. This tried though, I just hope Sora can comeback in style, instead of that two handed shot. |

| Sora and co. are having it rough right now. Highly doubt they can revert the score but at least, both him and Momoharu are giving their all. Overall, it was another good episode but I personally thought Sora would realize about Momoharu's skill to dunk the ball. That would have made things a bit easier for him but well. Wonder if it will be addressed in the next episode tho. |

| It's interesting that Sora's weak point is throwing from the left. I wonder if he will/can overcome that. Does he dedicate any of the 1000 shots he does everyday to that? Anyways, poor Sora (and team). There's bound to be problems given that they either don't have experience, or they don't have enough experience. Stamina is definitely a big one. The "girl shot" though. I've never taken a shot like that since I find the ball difficult to control. But now that I think about it, I did have a friend who took shots like that in P.E. and usually ended up succeeding even though she hated sports and exercising. |
| As expected things aren't going well for them but the spirit to see the game through to the end is really something and that last shot left a good impact. Even if it's a girly and uncool shot he won't hesitate if it's for the game. Sora is a really great guy. |

| I didn't expect Sora to be bad at shooting from the left side. I thought it was simply exhaustion from never playing in an actual game before. Well I got it right a little, he is exhausted and can't move his right hand. I'm not good at sports or knowledgeable about it but I didn't know there was a "girly way" to throw the ball. I've seen guys shoot a ball like that before. Anyways, I think they're going to lose. I'm not sure if this has a manga, light novel or whatever but I'm Anime-only in this series. I won't be picking up the manga or original source material in a long time. I already have lots of manga I'm keeping up with and it will be fun to watch only the Anime. Based on the ED visuals, Chiaki will probably only join when that blonde manager joins them too. |

| Victory is the last thing they need now. They must grow up and learn many things from their defeat. You can't win against skilled and experienced team with a team of unawared rookies and those who didn't train enough and didn't even know the rules. No way. Only if some miracle happens like Chiaki joining the team and overwhelming the enemy or some Sora's asspull or nakama power, whatever. Their defeat is absolutely necessary, otherwise their development will freeze and the show will turn into failure |

| Nice episode, it wasn't hard to see it trought the end. The building of the recovery of Sora was pretty fast, I guess he will do it even better during the next episode. Since I see it will be 50 episodes, I hope a trully good development with that quantity. 4/5 |

| I'm not a huge fan of sports so as this anime moves towards actual sports commentary and playing I'm starting to get bored. To be honest I'm not a huge fan of the off-court character interactions either. I felt like if I stuck with this anime for the long haul I'd look back on the series with good nostalgic memories, but now I'm learning more towards just dropping it. We'll see where the next few episodes go. |

| The team so far does very well considering three of them are new to the game, Momoharu only picked the sport back up not long ago and all of them not having real game experience. I kinda feel like Chiaki will take some spotlight next episode, but I really hope he doesn't join the team until somewhere after the game. |
