Unlike most of MAL users, I use all 10 scores to rate anime. That means my scores may be very different from others.
My mean score is not low. It's literally above average.
I enjoyed each show I finished, no matter the score.
My 6 means "good" and my 4 and 5 mean "average".

I arrange all shows in 4 categories: Bad, Average, Good, Great. This makes it easy to score and helps to be more objective. Thus, within each category I have just two scores to decide on when scoring an anime.
