| Probably because he thought they wouldn't adapt it properly or something. I mean they did leave some parts in the first season. Or he just wanted to do something new idk. If Ishida sensei made that decision - it was correct (I mean it would be if he got all 24 episodes as originally planned instead of 12........) | That's a mystery. There are studios that produce crap much more consistently and generally liked. Pierrot is a rollercoaster in quality But that is true that the last good one was over 2 years ago. |

| people usually think that the image of the studio is formed by their overall roster and its quality, but it is never like that, it usually only comes from the most popular shows they do, so pierrot may actually have done dozens of decent shows, but the ones people actually care and are what formed their image are the really populçar ones like naruto shippuden and tokyo ghoul as far as i know making a new script for the new series was a must since they ould not addapt the rest of the story in 12 episodes |

| Pierrot tends to hire smaller studios do to their work. And if you're good for a little math: Assuming a good number (speaking of which, it's not a small number) of different hands (animators, storyboarders, directors, episode directors, etc) touch every episode in an Anime, you can easily notice inconsistencies if you care at least a little about Animation, and everything else (some people just don't), because they're all human, and they'll have a little different artstyle no matter how detailed the main concepts they get are. That's what happens in a single studio. Now, imagine the whole thing above spread into a few different studios, each of them having more different people, and add some hurry in the mix as they have to deliver an episode everyweek. You can't get good stuff out of that. There you go; studio pierrot in a nutshell. |

| I have limited experience with Pierrot so I can't really say I hate them. I will say that the Bleach episodes I caught on Adult Swim waiting for the rest of their anime block were dreadful. I liked what I saw of Yu Yu Hakusho years ago. Ghost Stories (Gakkou no Kaidan) literally has a good two points on its MAL average just because of the English dub, the original is boring. |

| The only problem I have with them is the lack of continuation for Akatsuki no Yona, and the terrible filler ending for Tegami Bachi s2. Otherwise I have no issue with them and actually like quite a few of their endeavors. [perhaps the problem lies with the fact that all of their filler episodes are always terribad?] |

| I don't hate Pierrot. It's just one of my least favorite studios, mostly because of some Animes. They have some good Animes like Akatsuki no Yona and Great Teacher Onizuka but sometimes it feels like Pierrot doesn't try so hard for their Animes. Naruto and Bleach were both really good Animes but something went completely wrong. Naruto was only there to make money. |

| You gave the answers yourself already, too much filler in Naruto and Bleach and bad animation in Tokyo Ghoul. Just because they made one other good anime, doesn't make them a good studio. |

| Cause they're just bad at adapting anything. I'll never forget how they gave something like Twin Star Exorcists 50 eps, (more than half being just anime original stuff since the manga only had about 30 or so chapters when it first aired) but they give something like the original Tokyo Ghoul only 24 eps even though the manga had about 144 chapters. They did the same thing to :Re as well and it just disappointed me so much that they couldn't wait and just had made a proper adaptation. Well actually even if the source material was finished it still wouldn't have been good. I just wish all the series that ever got short end of the stick by Pierrot someday get a reboot by sasuga Madhouse/Chadhouse or maybe even Bones and MAPPA. |
