| MANLY SINCE I'M A GIRL IT'LL BE GIRLY TEARS I CRIED. MAN. I LOVE GURREN LAGANN. It was still rushed though, I hate how they leave parts of the series out of the movies. But okay, I loved it, since it's Gurren Lagann and all. Everytime ROW ROW FIGHT THA POWA came up I was just mumbling along and ORE WO DARE DA TO OMOTTE YAGARU and sdgsdfsdfs. Fuck, when I saw old!Simon followed by young!Simon's back at the end I just couldn't deal with it anymore. |

| I was kinda skeptical about seeing TTGL turned into a movie, since most adaptations into movie format tend to be kind meh ... OMG they did a great job with it, though, even making that unbelivable final battle even MORE insanely epic than it was the first time around. Was also glad to finally get some nipple shots of Yoko and Nia at the end, especially with Nia being naked most of the movie but still covered :P ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWAH! |

| after seeing a comment on youtube and doing the maths, for the size of super tengen toppa gurren lagann relative to the distance simon had to travel to punch the anti spiral, he would have had to been traveling at about 52.8 trillion light years per hour when he landed the punch simon travels from a giga drill STTGL down to the anti spiral in around 36 seconds. the gigal drill STTGL is around 528 billion light years long, and he was well over a body length away, but well stick with 528 billion light years. 528000000000/36 = 14666666666.66667 light years per second times 3600 for light years per hour= 52800000000000= ~52.8 trillion light years per hour ouch |

| Ganiax loves to make these remake movies. *cough Eva.* It was too soon though. They didnt let the series age. The animation was still decent enough to let old scenes to be in the movie scenes. that is not acceptable! at least they remade some. The story is really different, in a bad way. It felt too rushed, important scenes were cut. I think it would have been better if there was another movie. I liked the TV ver. better. That doesn't mean that this movie was bad though because it was pretty awesome. And how could I forget that we finally got some nipple action! ORE WA DRILL out of 10. |

| Although the fight against Lordgenome was incredibly short, BUT the fight with Anti-Spiral was incredibly EPIC!!!!!! It feels so good to watch this again after finishing the original tv series 2 years ago, it reminds me of how much I love this series!!! Also, some nudity at the end is quite good. Still, it also reminds me how sad the ending is, Nia disappears, and Simon goes on a lonesome journey. Well, I guess this is fine. |

Yup, shit went down in this movie. Dat Mugenn and Anti Spiral.  Nice to see Simon and Viral team up just like from the original TV series. Also, Yoko's kiss of death. I expected that lol. > Don't apologize at a time like this. Yup. Overall, a great movie even with some of the repeated scenes. 8/10 :) Oh nice to see the marriage as well. I can't find them either :( you can only find it raw currently, and only in the BD batch release. either download that and remux off the old release, or you're going to have to wait. unless you buy the blurays which are 1080 subbed. if you do download it raw, (good luck with that, 30+ gb per movie) i dont mind ripping the subs ive got if youre interested straight off the blurays |

| The way Lordgenome "hacked" the enemy was hilarious! Definitely some changes from the animes series. Only Kittan appears to die and in the final battle everyone fights instead of just the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Didn't not expect to see Nia's breasts bare. Nice! But she still disappears! FUCK! Great condensed version of the second half of Gurren Lagann. |

| Great movie,but I definetly prefer some scenes in the tv version.The farewell scene with Kamina was kinda underwhelming here when it's one of the best scenes in the tv series.Also the pre-credits ending just doesn't feel right without ED2. The ending fight was epic and even crazier though. |

| HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!! BEST. FUCKING. ENDING. EVER! Most balls to the wall, most BAD ASS thing I have ever seen in my whole life!!! Simon is a fucking MANLY BEAST!!! You get the girl bro!!! Peasants, thinking the original ending was epic, WAIT TILL THEY FUCKING TAKE A LOOK AT THIS! Here I spent all these years thinking anime couldn't get more EPIC and PERFECT than the original ending, they go ahead and do this. I thought Gurren Lagann couldn't be more perfect that it already is. In fact I avoided these movies thinking they were just recaps, but GOD. DAMN. I'm so happy i watched them, falling in love with the show all over again. The very end still makes me cry all these years later, when Nia dies and Simon walks the earth alone. | It was cool seeing Rei ... uhm I mean Nia have her own Gun(wo)men for a little bit. Despite feeling a little bit rushed over the original series the final fight made up for all of it.- Truly epic. 9/10 because of the new ending for sure. |
