Lol, it's funny how Umaru just takes on this personality as a pro game complete with the ego and hat. The double team tennis match was kinda amusing. I felt bad for Ebina though since she can't even serve D: I find it amusing that Umaru didn't just face Sylphynford in competition in real life but also in-game too. |

| I was wondering after episode 2 if I should continue with this show, but ep 3 and this one really surprised me. Maybe Umaru is just growing on me or something but she doesn't seem to be that annoying anymore. And Umaru being annoying was the main reason why I had my doubts about this show. |

| Haha oh how I can't get enough of the OP. UMR VS. TSF LOL. This is a good episode, but we could had have more screen time for Nana and Kirie. Also for those that think that Sylphynford and Alex are dating and such...no they are sibling...this episode sure make it look like they are in that kind of relationship lol. |

| This show never fails to live up to my expectations. UMR finally appears, and it was glorious! She's an Arcade Queen. The meanest of the mean. She'll clear your plushies out faster than a flooded stream. Niagara Falls!!!  It was nice to see Sylphynford, the earnest rich girl who cannot follow common rules. I love how she gave her entrance at the tennis court more impact with the aid of a background board and a fan (seriously, lol). Using SYL was basically useless when every line afterwards includes a mention of her full name. Still, she's likeable, because even though she keeps failing, she tries real hard to achieve her goals, and she's not afraid to try over and over again. Her bro-con tendencies are quite hilarious too. In fact, all the girls in this show are wonderful. I loved Kirie's overheat moment on the court as well, and Ebina can be such a loveable ditz. More of the same please! |

| And another imouto-sibling pair identified...as well as a third identity for Umaru. I thought they could have incorporated a bit more of the manga into the tennis battle (the choosing of the partners) but over all the chapters were adapted quite well. |

| Kirie only made some short appearances *sigh* I want more of the best girl T_T Pokemon and Vocaloid references here and there. And imo SSFIVAC are one of the hardest fighting game to master the combos (I used to throw my controller when the combos I practiced so hard didn't connect in online matches) aside from MvC and BlazBlue. LOL Sylphyn-chan didn't even try to hide her identity. I agree she just wanted attention and her name to be known to the whole world (also to beat her rival). And her alias TSF reminded me of MLA VN... *gasp* |

The arcade clerks reminds me of the arcade clerks from Lucky Star. Hahaha. Also really love they got three letter initials for the names. The mangaka is SKH, referencing the author of Himouto, Sankaku Head. And of course, Sylphin blushing over her brother. ^_^ |

| I think the one thing that caught my attention the most in this ep is how Umaru is able to fix back that broken toy into almost perfect one(excluding the face drawing part).- should learn a bit from her... And for the tennis part, while it's funny and all, I gt a feeling Umaru learned to try her best instead of just playing for fun from seeing how serious her 'rival' is. It can be said to be part of her character development of understanding of trying her best in something other than games. Yet I thought when she found out she was bad at a certain move in the fighting game, she would go perfect it but guess not... The starting of her playing claw machine had me jaw-drop...Wish I could get her as my teacher. Looking forward to what kind of funny adventure will it be during her summer break~ |
