 God Eater, originally scheduled to premiere on July 5, will be postponed by one week, according to an announcement on the official website. A special program titled God Eater Extra will air in the time slot instead of the first episode. The announcement reasoned that the project staff wanted to deliver a work quality that meets fan expectations.An early screening of the first episode, originally scheduled for June 28 at Akihabara UDX, had been canceled last week. That episode is also scheduled for screening on the third day of Anime Expo 2015 in Los Angeles this weekend, but that is unlikely to occur. God Eater is based on an action role-playing game of the same name released in 2010 on PlayStation Portable. Its adaptation is being animated by ufotable. Source: Official site |

If you think Bandai Namco Entertainment has less funding then Type/Moon then you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. One was founded in 2000 and is just barely emerging from it's trappings as a doujin company that is largely just popular with Otaku. The other has been around since the 50's and is a multi-billion dollar publisher and developer with offices all over the first world and an actual stock exchange listing that has worked on franchises like the new Smash Bros and various other worldwide popular franchises like Pac-Man, Tekken, Dragon Ball Z, Tales of, and Dark Souls too name just a few and may in fact be the largest 3rd party game developer in Japan as of this time. No realistic or fair standard of comparison there at all. It's not a matter of funding, it's a matter of scheduling. |
