| I'm gonna miss Kyubei as Jyubei but he was so conflicted that it's better off if she's just Kyubei. I love her either way. I hated it in the previous Gintama episodes when they tried to make Kyubei girly and forced her to become straight. Let her be who she wants to be, you fucktards. |

| This arc started out very funny, but got lame by the end. And it missed the funniest characters/voice actors of all of Gintama. Katsura and Gintoki (voice actor). Heck, even Madao was sorely missed. I wish this wasn't so much about Kyubei. |

There's no way you can make Gintoki the main focus of an arc like this because Gintoki is only one out of many other victims. I missed Katsura/Zurako, though, but I guess Sorachi couldn't think of a way to fit him in a story where the Shinsengumi was already involved. Madao had his spotlight which felt short but quite awesome and rewarding. Anyway I enjoyed the arc quite a lot. Maybe it could have had a little more in the comedic aspect -the premise was very favorable- but I think there was more than enough, specially coming from poor Hijikata. And the overall discourse on gender roles and subversions this arc displayed is totally Gintama-esque. |

| it was an ok ending to a funny arc, this last episode just didnt really get many laughs out of me and the relatively seriousish stuff about kyubei was kind of ehh for me, still a great arc overall from how hilarious the first 2 episdoes were and i do just love how much the voice actors put into it, i actually will miss their genderbent characters cause the VA's were just so enjoyable to listen to |

Katsura suffers with gender issues too though, or may be he is just a cross dresser when he gets in the mood. But Gintama is a comedy first and foremost. They could have featured Katsura in this arc with Kyubei only in supporting role. Had that been the case this arc would have been one of the funniest arcs of all of Gintama. Also the Hijikata bit was funny for a couple of minutes, but shit got very redundant with him. I may be sounding too critical here, because I am a big fan of the show and am pissed off that what could have been an epic arc turned out to be meh. |

| This wasn't as funny as the last two episodes, but it was a satisfying conclusion to the Dekobokko Arc. It was hilarious seeing everyone try and fit into their new genders, with Ayao being just as much of a deviant as she always is and Tsukuo trying to hire Ginko into prostitution. Of course, everyone but the Gintama cast got their genders back. Random strangers were still calling Tenko a pig, which never got old. I like how the Cunsengumi reacted to have their genders swapped. Tsukuo became the Lord of the Night, in a suit that would drive most of r/MaleFashionAdvice bonkers. The entire time, Ginko was off finding where the Dekobokkoists were going to strike next so he could take them out. Mission accomplished, it seems. Excited for one of Gintama's "serious" arcs, which is coming up soon. |
