| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh finally some of the new stuff. Fabulous buildup featuring the return of the main players. And this also establishes my confidence that the upcoming events of the tournament will be memorable. I also like how Eijun is regaining his confidence in pitching. Lol @ the relaxed faces. Looks like we are getting more of action with the team next time. This looks exciting~ |

| Loved the ending with Miyuki's monologue about bringing Kataoka to the Nationals :3 Sawamura's smiles when he relaxes are so lol XD Sugita for the new catcher?? Yay! Catchers usually have lots of monologue so should be fun to hear lots of that :P |

| THIS, THIS WAS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. Wow did you see the glare kataoka gave to the soon to be coach when he heard of sawamura trying the sidearm? its like "what are you trying to do with my players" And a sidearm screwball southpaw pitcher eh, thats really rare. And the idea of pitching to a 3-D strikezone is nice and shows his command of the strikezone and his pitches, but most umpire cant even make those calls accurately and only look at where the catcher caught the ball, but oh well this is an anime so there's no such thing as umpire inconsistency for them to worry about. Honestly I don't think I can bear it if this new old dude becomes the coach, don't wanna watch tons of drama between the coach, staff and players, hopefully we wont go there. |

| Sawamura's relaxed looks was so gleeful! The tension between Ochiai and the Coach was surely at maximum point! Being matched up against the tournament's favourite already, Seido couldn't have asked for a better opponent! |

| Ugh to prepare myself for grief i've been trying to like Coach Ochiai, but this episode just did it for me. He's a terrible influence on the team. I hate him. COACH KATAOKA DON'T LEEEEEAVE~ First the 3rd years then him? I can't stand it T-T |

I think it works well, heh. It would throw me off if I was the batter. Also, Miyuki's inner thought about taking Kataoka to koushien. I love everyone on the team respects the coach so much. Anyways, an exciting first real episode back, although I expect no less from DnA. The new OP song isn't as good as the last one, but still really good imo. The animation was beautiful too. |

| OP visuals were awesome! Loved all the silhouettes. And the ED I like. :) Also, Coach's glare at Sergeant was wonderful. About time that guy got some contempt thrown at him. Though I know he can't be the antagonist forever, he'll probably eventually aid the team as a whole. :L |
| Ah yes, finally, we can get back into the swing of things! (I won't excuse the pun) I'm really hating "sergeant" right now. This episode is just confirming it and my love for Coach Kataoka is as strong as his love for the team. I really hope things go well in the game (though I doubt smoothly) and we can see what batting against that 3D zone is like! |

| Omg! This new op and ed are great! <3 How could Bakamura believe THAT sleazy guy~~I would sooo punch him in the face~! This episode was so refreshing and I just can't accept Kataoka-kantoku leaving >o< His speaches are like always wonderful and motivating..I wish I had such a person by my side T.T I finally saw Miyuki as their captain :) and Furuyas blushing face soo cute^^ on the other hand Eijuns relaxed face was just hilarious~~ |

| I actually almost teared a bit when Sawamura agreed to become a practice pitcher. After all, we all know very well the extent of him really wanting to be the ace and compete together with the team. PS: most of the other scenes are really hilarious hahaha love this episode so much |

| I don't know if it's because I took a long break from this anime, or because of the change of cast, I am really not feeling this show. I think it's probably the latter, because the recaps were pretty nice, and I think this new cast is really meh compared to season 1's. I already find the new opponent annoying. Eijun giving up trying to aim for the ace position didn't help. |
