Whoa, I didn't think Eijun's pitch would of been hit this episode like that. However, loved the teamwork of the play immediately after that.

Seidou really making quite the game imo.
Their training paid off and their spirit is high especially in the second half of the episode. Grats to Seido! Man tears were shed...

Eijun's threw change-ups and pitched to the end.
Haruichi hit an home run and made a fine play with Kuramochi.

What an episode.

That ep just felt so good on the inside. It was nice to see Sawamura dominating finally. Hopefully he can add some more variance to his breaking ball later on as well. Furuya also looked like he's ready to get back into the thick of this rivalry. Also...

This ep had so much going for it:
Eijun prooving that he gunna take that ace spot one day XD
Haruichi proving he gat the skills for a wooden bat and shoving it in Ochais face :3
and showing that he can fill big bro Ryo's shoes.
But dang, seeing that Go guy really broke down right after they established how much of an unwavering heart he plays really spoke volumes.

Amazing episode. Really great to actually see Sawamura pitch an incredibly strong game all the way through for once in what feels like forever.

Little confused why no one mentioned or highlighted the uniqueness of his breaking balls(how they cut in different angles), but whatever. Just more praise to be saved for a future episode, I guess.

Damn after so much build up this was a really epic episode. I forgive the slow pace for the last few episode after this glorious climax.

It's great to see Sawamura finally looking like an ace as well. I guess the competition between him and Furuya will intensify now. It's looking really great going into the quarter finals too. The team is starting to look better than last season with the seniors.

Ochiai better think twice now xD

Seeing Sawamura doing such a fine job as being the only pitcher used in the game, it felt nice on how stable he was in this match. With one weapon now at his arsenal, can't help but to be excited for what's to come. Really great game!

Damn finally. This is what we've all been waiting for.

Furuya smh try to look a bit happier for your teammates when you're in the dugout why are you there if you're not cheering your team?

Great episode, no cliffhanger, we get to see some great batting from Harucchi and an excellent play by the double play combo.

Furuya's in serious danger of losing the mound to Sawamura. Honestly, it'd be out of character if, at that point, he looked overjoyed. He'd probably be pissed if Sawamura was the opening pitcher and Furuya became the relief pitcher - and what if Sawamura didn't need to be relieved? He proved in this game he can go all nine innings, which is something Furuya has been unable to do.

F***ING YES!!! Hypest ep ever!!!

I just had the biggest grin on my face the whole ep ever since Sawamura starting throwing his Change-up. So friggin BA!

No one was able to do shit against it mixed in with his moving balls. And Harucchi's Home run was awesome.

Furuya really needs to start working on his Fork or else he'll be left behind. Miyuki probably enjoys catching for Eijun way more now ^^

This episode was perfect. I'd love to see Mei's reaction to Eijun's change-up.

I hate waiting weekly just for 20 minutes. If it wasn't for the missing chapters of the manga I'd read it instead

The episode felt too short and energetic but--
Finally we're starting to see Sawamura more like a protagonist.
Furuya tho. But we barely saw Kawakami in this episode. V_V

I'm just glad Gou-chan's done. He was annoying af.

Damn this episode went by way too fast. Eijun finally pitching the change up, and it's super effective against Oya! Not to mention, he's got great control over both inside and outside pitches, making him a really effective pitcher! It looks like he also has a pretty low pitch count or something, since the manager said something about the number of pitches in however many innings. Also, OSH OSH OSH! I love Seidou's team so much haha. Is this a new kind of cheer? :P Pitching for all nine innings too, Eijun's pretty much close to (if not, imo, he already did) surpassing Furuya.

Harucchi and Kuramochi's teamwork was amazing, I love how Kuramochi gave Harucchi a thumbs up. Harucchi is proving to be a good partner for Kuramochi as Ryousuke was. And Ochiai being proven wrong again and again just feels so good. Harucchi's home run was like "in your face" moment.

THIS is what I've been waiting for! Since the start of the show this is what I've been craving from this anime!

Sawamura finally got the spotlight until the very end, no flukes, no depressing walk-offs, just sun and amazing pitches! I am so happy! The writers haven't done a good job at pacing his development so far, but these last two games have actually been pretty perfectly paced in terms of both play and character development.

I am FINALLY looking forward to the next episode again! First time since the first 15 episodes of S1!

In addition to the really satisfying conclusion, that Haru and Kuramochi duo showing their capability really made me happy.

Unfortunate for team was sacrificed for Sawamura's breaking ball haha.

That was so cute how everyone started doing Eijun's chant. I knew he'd be able to do it! Haru and Kuramochi are so cool! Will we ever see Harucchi's eyes? Haha. Felt like this match took forever. Glad it's finally over.

Man, its actually really impossible to throw a pitch learnt overnight that well unless you're some godly prospect with overwhelming talent who will take the world by storm, but its an anime so oh well, it was entertaining.

And kuramochi approves of haruchi's Joe Panik-esque ball glove flip exchange. woots.

edit: and honestly speaking, from the baseball's point of view, seido's pitching rotation is overwhelmingly strong for a high school. Furuya is more of a power pitcher, with high velocity fastball and a splitter combo, while Sawamura is more of the crafty deceptive type with good movement fastballs and deceptive changeup, and also the occasional cutter, the two of them complement each other perfectly. Its like Wakabayashi said: "Damn baseball gorillas"

Fucking glorious!!! As great as it is to see Sawamura dominate, I feel so bad for Kawakami. The dude hasn't pitched in like three games now. He's slowly getting edged out. Give the bro some game time coach!!!

Oh my god, fuck yeah! This is the 100th episode and it's the episode where Sawamura shines greatly and it really is all about Sawamura! He pitched consistently well and was even able to throw the changeup perfectly. Heck, he was able to get three strikeouts in a row. Sawamura pitched throughout the entire game which is very impressive. This is what we've all been waiting, very fitting for the 100th episode of the series. I love how the crowd did Samura's chant as well. xD WAMURA FTW BOYS! Furuya's obviously jealous as heck but sorry kiddo, Sawamura's moment. ;D Absolutely loved the episode~

This episode made me wanna tear up in joy, Sawamura was a huge win and his progress has been incredible. It was also great to see Harucchi make great strides forward as well, both with a home run and fielding that is starting to catch up to his brother. This new team has really grown on me, there's so much potential going on now.

Kanemaru's "Wamura" will never stop being hilarious!

I had a huge grin on my face the entire episode, and rewatched parts of it several times. It was so nice to see things go right for Eijun, and I nearly died when the crowd replied to his chant *__*

The fact that they didn't make Eijun some infallible genius, and made him struggle to level up, makes it so much more satisfying to see him dominate!

Harucchi and Kuramochi were doing work as usual <3 Hope Furuya finds his stride too.
