| This episode is so much more better in my opinion. The characters of the workers of Amagi (esp. the mascots) developed very well while the mains keep on at an adequate level. Not much plot development here as it's quite predictable. He's introduced to opponent, chickens out only to come back and trash talk the park into glory. 5/5. Character development is present, but I hope the plot takes a nice twist, especially in this cleaning episode. Moffle will bust out some kicks at Seiya for sure.~ |

| This episode was reeeeeally slow. Not much progressed other than more clarification of the situation and the plot finally getting underway. Although, I guess it's natural for this type of show since the set up for the storyline needs some time. I expect the next episodes to be more...productive. Hopefully. |

| The true Enemy: Chris Tucker. ep 2. Plot: Kanye meets with the Amagi Project Heads such as Kurisu Takaya (aka Chris Tucker, I am not kidding) and the problems facing the park. Amagi needs 250,00o guests in two weeks or the park will be shut down. And thus all the magic cast of the park will die. After some coaxing from Kanye, he becomes the new manager for the duration and sets out to save the park. What confuses me is why the anime doubled the number of attendees (in the manga and LN, its 100,000) to 250,000. Seems a bit much. Character: Kanie still retains his narcissism but it seems that even he can value the art of working hard for something you believe in. He certainly knows his personality and plays it off to inspire the rest to work despite it being boasting. He also proves his intelligence at a difficult math problem (look it up) and he seems to take his new mind reader power in a bit of a stride despite limited use. Sento shows that while she is a kuudere, she is also a soldier raised in a certain way. She does not know how to ask for help so she lets her piece do the talking (and this is part of the problem as she scared away other business consultants before Kanie). Both she and Kanie have some serious character defects but seeing them work off each other is pretty funny. Moffle and Latifa raise the personal stakes when its revealed that she's his niece and thus showing that while he doesn't care if he disappears, Latifa is likely his only family at the park and seeing her die is not an option. He's kinda like team Uncle or so and most likely third in command beside Sento. The element fairies are given their basic characters here. Muse is the leader and seems the most normal. Kobori might have some stoic kuudere. Salama is the cool one (haha). And Selphy...oh Selphy is just adorable. TIrami and Macaron are part of Moffle's crew and seem to be a pervert and laid back dude in turn. Tirami has the 2nd highest comedy potential. Chris Tucker is a smug snake and a businessman. He's pure evil. Animation/sound: Nothing new to report at the moment. 4/5. Kanie's dressing down made this episode go up a score. |

A bit limited, but if you think about it if he can get information what kind of rides a person would enjoy in a park, it's more then enough. Still can't believe that they couldn't at least fix broken things in a park so it doesn't look like it's abandoned. You don't have to be genius to see what is wrong. And lol at people who are wanting an ecchi show out of this. Go fap a bit and then come back. Maybe you'll think straight. Horny kids... Good animation, great pacing and honestly the MC is carrying the show for me. I can see mascots being annoying at some point though. |

| Thoughts while watching the episode: -What a mundane thing to use a magical power for -Actually, watching this has me questioning my rating system for comedies. -Is it really alright for them to discuss magic on a crowded train station -While I'm not that interested in the show itself so far, I will say that the OP is legitimately magical -Fumo -Wait, the blonde's name is Latifa? Like, her title would be Princess Latifa? -I'm getting Tiger & Bunny vibes from Tiramie and Macaron but I'm not really sure why -Mii -Ron -At least all the mascots' names sound like the things they're mascots of -After seeing the behind-the-scenes meeting with the park mascots, somehow I think this would have been a better starting point than the first episode -After seeing the exposition scene on the bus, I definitely think this would have been a better starting point than the first episode. -After seeing the corporate meeting with the development group I am seriously disappointed in the decision not to put this kind of information in the first episode. -7 minutes into the episode and pretty much all it's done is make me realize how bad of a first episode the previous one is - What is the point of glasses that detach at the bridge, and what kind of glasses actually do that? I'll just assumed they intended that as part of the deadpan absurdism that this show likes to do. -I've only heard it as "Fermi estimation" but the concept is actually the same -One thing I actually like about this show is that they actually say the full names of the characters pretty often so there's really no need to keep a character sheet handy. -I don't really care about art stuff most of the time but they put a lot of work into the facial expressions -Why do these subs put Latifa's name in Western order but put everyone else's name in Eastern order? It's not even a Maple Lander thing since Isuzu's name was given in Eastern order -I dunno the park closure announcement felt a bit too soon. Currently, the utter disappointment that this show's been so far outweighs any emotional impact that that scene was supposed to have -Maybe I spoke too soon, because Seiya's total shattering of the mood was pretty glorious -I thought the part about being a former child actor was just a throwaway piece of information meant to rope Seiya into working for them but he actually puts some of his acting skills on display, which came as a pleasant surprise. -Still not sure about Seiya's motives behind finally agreeing to become park manager -Moffle, Macaron, and Tiramie wear slippers/shoes modeled after their feet? Not sure I like this deadpan absurdism too much yet. First impression: Disappointing introductory episodes.
