(Procrastination in progress) A Short Bio of Shiruet The first time I was ever introduced to Japanese anime was when I was around 5. That time, Doraemon and Gundam SEED was on T.V. I'll never forget how much I had loved seeing them both and I was totally plunged into the world of anime. From there on, I encountered manga and games as well, though I had consistently watched anime. I guess i should also give manga a try as well here. Not much into manga, but I'll try to get attuned to it and slowly immerse myself in the versatile world of manga. As for games, aside from JRPGS/music rhythms/dating sims, I have played a small amount of North American compared to Japanese. All in all, I have come to appreciate the Japanese culture if not embrace my own Asian culture (Chinese here!) more in-depth. In the past 3 years, I have visited many places in Asia from China to Indonesia to Singapore to Japan and Philippines! Even though I treat this AMG (Anime/Manga/Game) thing of mine a hobby, it's still a a big part of me!! Top 10 Favorite Anime Series(in no particular order) Honourable Mentions Selector Infected/Spread WIXOSS, SKET Dance, Koufuku Graffiti, Baka no Test Shoukanjuu, Elfen Lied, Btoooom!, Gundam SEED, Strawberry Panic, Nanatsu no Taizai, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky, Another, Doraemon, Love Live! School Idol Project, The Idolm@ster, I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying! Top 5 Favorite Mangas(in no particular order) Honourable Mentions Hatsune Mix, Pokémon Adventures Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds, Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, Shugo Chara! Top 10 Favorite Games(in no particular order) Well, I play a variety of games from American FPS to Asian muisc-rhythm to simple boardgames like Monopoly! However, with respects to the theme here, I'll put down my top 10 favourite games that contain anime/asian backgrounds! 1) Cytus 2) Deemo 3) Devil Maker: Toyko 4) The Atelier Series: Mainly Atelier Meruru, Atelier Ayesha, and Atelier Escha & Logy 5) The Super Smash Bros. Series 6) The Tekken Series: Mainly the ones you play in arcades 7) The Blazblue Series: Mainly Continuum Shift and Chronophantasma 8) The Project Diva Series and its spin-off, Project Mirai: Mainly F and F2nd and DX 9) Osu! 10) Animal Kaiser and Great Animal Kaiser So we have Palkia using Spacial Rend..  Dialga using RoT...  And this figure skating scene from DP  Let these entertain you until I can get everything else finished!! |
