| Whew its good to see this back. Shows like Rakugo are the much needed hope that anime overall is not dead. Its really unfair for the rest of the year that the AOTY that sets the standard aired so early. This first episode already blew most of this season's premieres out of the water so far in the first five minutes alone. Also the OP will easily be among top five ops of the year. Really interested in seeing where all of this goes considering how complete the first season felt. 10/10 |

| I am so happy and sad at the same time, this episode should have been 48minutes like season 1! Just 24 wasn't enough T-T Hoping for another season filled with amazing voice performance! Sadly there wont be god like performances by Yamadera Kouichi as Sukeroku T-T. |

| Finally! <3 The short summary by Yotarou at the start was a clever way to refresh the memory, I liked that very much. The scene on the bridge was wonderful. Yotarou, so passionate in trying to convince Konatsu that she should give him a chance, and Konatsu, slowly giving in. A few minutes of everything I love the most in this anime. |
| Ah, it's back and it's so good yet again. Truly this is a special anime and there is nothing alike. The opening is not in the episode but it's truly fantastic as well. It really points out how Yakumo (/Bon) is a "Shinigami of Rakugo". |

| The first episode was lovely. I loved Yotaro's little recap in the beginning. I'm excited for the drama to ensue. I hope it doesn't end up as sad and tragic as the first season. I'm not ready for Yakumo to pass away. If he does, I hope he's not bitter. |

| Loved the new episode ;; I've been waiting for this season to start for what feels like ages, I'm so glad it's back. I absolutely love Konatsu's new haircut and the scene between her and Yotaro near the end was just too cute. Yotaro is just such a likeable guy, I'm curious what will happen between him and Konatsu. The only thing I found kind of odd was when Yakumo said he wants rakugo to die with him. Wasn't he in the same mindset as Yotaro when he was younger? If he loves rakugo and took Yotaro as an apprentice he should want Yotaro to continue spreading the love for it. Though maybe it's just old people being old and disliking change, idk. |

Great recap from Yotaro, and the scene where he was with Konatsu is so sweet and adorable, and oh that writer is that boy, i smell much conflicts ahead, and once again, the voice acting of this anime is one of the best ever exist.... |

So was there already a ten year leap at the end of season 1? because if so wouldn't Konatsu have a 10 year old child along with the child she currently had in this episode? It also seems like this season is going to have more time leaps cause the preview for next weeks episode the kid had long hair. |

The last bit of Season 1 in the present was already <b>ten years after</b> the events in season 1's first episode. Season 2's first episode picks up at the same period as S1's episode 13. I also see more time leaps for this series because based in the OP, we'll see Konatsu's kid at around 4-5 years of age already. I expect that this will be handled much better though (compare: Fune wo Amu). Awesome thanks for clearing that up for me! Yeah I wasn't a big fan of how they handled the time leap for Fune as well |

| This show, KonoSuba and Gintama are the trifecta of winter. I really liked the episoda and Yotaro just keeps growing as a true man!!! The OP is just amazing. But I will let my reflection the next ep when the show use it. |
| Finally, a premiere that left me satisfied at the end and ready to watch some more soon! I was actually kind of annoyed that I had something negative to say about all the premieres I had seen leading up to this one. Luckily, I practically loved everything about this episode! The recap done by Yotaro was spectacular. All the rakugo performances had that same fun feel they had back in S1. Like many people here, I'm delighted to see more focus on Yotaro. I'm already loving both the plotline about his love for Konatsu and the plotline about how he wants to expand rakugo's lifespan. Yakumo's role in this season is super enjoyable too. I love that he's basically a grumpy old man that doesn't want to break from tradition. I'm curious to see if he does end up becoming the shinigami for rakugo like he wants to. Overall, great episode! I wonder if this'll become my AOTS like it was last year. I've got high hopes for it to be! |

| Ahh it's been just a year since the S1 and it feels like I'm watching the show after such a long time. Can't help but feel nostalgic about it~ I was looking forward to it so much that I couldn't hold back the huge grin I had on my face throughout the episode ^_^ And watched it in 1080p no less! :D The intro and recollection of S1 was neat. However, I'm not used to Yotaro's hyper personality yet. I prefer Kikuhiko's slow and calm narration of the story from S1~ AND OH, THE MUSIC NEAR THE END OF EPISODE & NEW OP WERE AMAZING. ESPECIALLY THE OP <3 |

| Great Episode! It's kind of disappointing that we just skipped over Yotarou becoming a Shunichi that would have been really interesting seeing him find his own rakugo. Did they skip over that in the manga as well, or is the anime just not adapting that part? |

| I have missed the Rakugo. It was an ingenious to recap the first season. I wonder if this season will be as good as the first, the real "Sukeroku" is no longer here T_T |
| The part with 10 year timeskip really baffled me I had fogotten it already happened in the last episode of the first series. S1 and S2 only has one year timeskip as told in the beginning. But hey, favourite show is back and unlike Konosuba this sequel isn't DEENly butchered at all, quite contrary! I just wonder how her child fit into this and if even she can find her own dream (wonder who the father is though.. but it is probably someone unsubstantial as she only wanted to maintain Sukeroku's line). Yotarou's ascent to greatness would be also something to look forward to as we are slowly moving into the age of TVs and it's certain there would be some clash with rakugo. Wonder if he'll ever get mature or not. And there is also Yakumo's death coming as he's getting really old now (probably in his eighties). Well, well.. as expected this would be interesting show to watch. I just hope they won't do any insert flashbacks now as I want to learn more about present characters. |

| I'm finally watching this. I saved all episodes to binge watch :D Poor Yotarou, no one wants to call him Sukeroku haha. I wanted to know the rest of Yakumo's story, too bad they cut it short. Also, I ain't gonna lie I totally forgot who Mangetsu is. I also thought that he was gay with his designer Louis Vuitton bag and effeminate ways. He seems more effeminate than Yakumo too. Surprised that he likes Konatsu. I'm even more surprised Konatsu's baby just popped out of nowhere lol Yotarou's funny confession of love to Konatsu. He's not head-over-heels over her or anything but she's naturally become part of his life. I'm still curious who the baby daddy is. |
