This shows only good side is the fact it never fails to surprise you in the stupidity of the characters.

If this continues I might even like the show less then Inuyasha, Bleach or Naruto.

This is the first episode of this series that I liked, not loved. It was okay...I can't believe they all got suckered in, oh well it added a comedic affect and revealed a more extreme hikikomori. The chairman, Megumi is a bitch, but her life is terrible, so i guess i can understand. LOL, Satou just barely catching her at the door. I hope they still get out of the pyramid scheme and don't succumb to guilt or feeling sorry for megumi.

I have a gut feeling that they forgot to fill in the form :S. I really expected an upward spiral from the point where Satou was about to jump of the cliff. And here he is, still falling for stupid tricks and getting worse and worse.

Yamazaki was way too intelligent to go along with a "These pills will improve your life!" scam; well aware he was talking to a scammer. Throughout the series, he's shown to be intelligent enough to verbally own Satou with great ease, and he's always on top of things. It just didn't fit for him to sit there without arguing back like he did.

This is why I say that Gonzo got lucky by only being able to cover some of the NHK manga's attempts at extending the story with fillerish content; never being able to animate the worst of it. When the author goes against the characterisation for a few cheap laughs, it's time to wrap it up... which is why it's perfect that, after 19, the series moved onto its final arc.

Wow she's good, she doesn't even need to try. Her customers even call her up to scam themselves.
Yamazaki's quite smart, I'm surprised that he of all people fell for it.

I didn't expect Misaki to be so stupid, this was a decent episode, others were much better.
I hope the other episodes will be better.

Wow...this isn't funny anymore, how stupid are they? It also felt so strange, I mean both Yamazaki and Misaki were shown to be at least somewhat smarter persons, and Misaki even read that book... It really felt out out character :/
I'm actually interested in the brother though, I hope we can leave the pyramid plot behind.

They were tricked all together...Strange I believed that misaki and Yamazaki would be wiser...But to think of it Satou's school's president is really good at what she's doing: selling, she's seller by vocation) But the whole situation is not funny it's cruel reality...And in the end of the ep. we can observe the horrible consequences of on line games addiction...

Another episode that was able to blend serious tones and comedy well. The first half was hilarious, especially when they realized that they got tricked again and the bags turned into little NHK blue grinch things.

Seeing how far into debt and the multilevel scam system Megumi is was saddening, since it seems like she was doing it to pay for her brother's living expenses who was spending his life doing RMT on that game. My guess is he's the guy who is acclaimed at being successful at the real money trading. Going to show how harsh the reality of such a lifestyle really is.

It was an interresting ending, I wonder where it will lead...

Omg they are idiots xD

It may be easy to see Megumi as the villain, the bitch who's trying to trick the protagonist. But really she's just another victim of the scheme, along with other problems that may be even more taxing than her financial ones.

Judging by the portrayal of her highschool self, this just seems like a case of a honest, hard working person with good intention who made a wrong decision early in life which proceeded to spiral out of control.

That scene made me laughed very hard. Can't believe they fell for the scam with the intention to go against the scam. A true hikikomori in the end. Looks like NHK is heading in the correct direction, as far as I see it.

Finally watching this series again after a long break ... I barely even remember what happened before XD Ah, the classic pyramid scheme ... pretty funny when they got tricked into buying more products ;P
So the President's older brother is also a shut-in ... Torotoro eh? To be honest I don't really remember that arc, but it seems to be from when they were all into that MMORPG. So she's just doing it to support them both? "In too deep" now eh ...
Hopefully they can get themselves out of this situation. We'll see what happens now ...

How can you be this dumb... it's actually getting irritating. Same with the overdone nerdy characters, made to be disgusting in every aspect.

Aside from that, good show so far, I'd be lying if I said that I can't relate.

While I know this was done for comedy purposes and to lead the plot to the other hikikomori I'm still quite pissed at how they did. I mean, how naive can people be, especially when they are in a group against one and came prepared. tsk... Well, I guess this is going to be good now.

Great episode. I think the story execution was told in a way that we were supposed to know they were being tricked the 2nd time presenting us the idea that not only NEETs but sociable people can fall victims to multilevel marketing schemes.

Damn, that ending a well; Sato coming face-to-face with a NEET on an even lower level than himself, that must've hit him pretty hard.

Is Misaki's secret being that she is a mild neet or was that peer pressure?

although this episode didnt portray it the best way, manipulative ppl have a certain aura and way with words to trick even the smartest person

but u gotta realize that 1 is an otaku, 1 is a hikki, and misaki is a young impressionable girl, ya she is smart but why? because she does her research. young ppl can easily be swayed.
