@Cnon (sorry, I fucked up the quotes) How is sugarcoating worse than the aforementioned? So many groups are currently threatened. Pence is a homophobic cunt who wants to fund conversion therapy and ban marriage equality, Trump is a sexual predator that insults and assaults women and treats them like objects (apparently everyone's okay with that), he has insulted handicapped people and he was openly okay with some of his supporters that beat up black people. Not to mention him saying he wants to ban all muslims and that mexicans are rapists and criminals. Only these spring to mind right now.. all these are deeply hurtful and damaging. Some things Trump has said in his campaign may not happen, I concede it. But electing him as a president just shows that people who are not affected by this do not give a flying fuck. And before someone says ''I do not agree with him, but he was the lesser of two evils!'' well, voting for him and all he represents while remaining neutral to inequality makes them culpable for the perpetuation of discrimination. |

In all honesty when Trump won, I actually felt like I wanted to go and die... yeah go and say that Hillary is evil, but then again we're all fucked over... I'm more worried about me and myself and my country after reading what his plans are... and if he actually does try to do so... then yeah this is just something that really ticks me off. I feel disgusted though and ashamed for a lot of the Americans that voted for Trump though (not alot of them but still... Just that tho) |

Her plan as far as social issues were concerned had many similarities to Bernie's, which many people endorsed, me included. Anyway, the problem is not really Trump for me. The direct threat comes from his bigoted supporters. Their confidence in their bigotry has been restored and increased with this result, while the ones who voted for Trump halfheartedly will just remain idle to any displays of hate and discrimination. Well he said that he'd ban all muslims because of terrorism, if I remember correctly. Just because of the few he decided to exclude the many, which are harmless and just minding their own businesses. I just don't think that exclusion and isolationism is an effective policy.. Well,I don't know how to feel about this.Honestly,I didn't thought that Trump would win.But when the media and the polls attacked him 24/7,while they favored Hillary all the time that brings opposite results so I guess I shouldn't be that surprised.I won't judge the American voters' decision to support Trump, especially when I live in a country where the great majority of voters lack critical thinking about political issues and always screw up our own elections and our country in advance.I really doubt anything will change either for the better or worse.I mean many people had similar reactions after Obama's win and many were afraid with the outcome. But nothing really happened.I also believe Trump won't try to kick any immigrant from the US.This might create a turmoil in the country since many people were established there for years. But since he is a fanatic anti-Muslim I think he might really go for it.I'm more interested in his plans(if he has any) about the country's economy, healthcare and social issues. At the end,I dare to say that I prefer Trump over Hillary. But that doesn't mean I like him quite the opposite. If I said something wrong sorry for my ignorance. |

Constantly calling him and his supporters racist, sexist and homophobic won't work. If you want people's support you should not insult them that's not how politics work. You can't get elected without people's support right? Donations or media support is meaningless. Muslims can hide their intentions and pretend like they're integrated in a society until the right time comes. And no I'm not religious I just live in a Muslim country. |

I've never liked either candidates but as a Center-Left leaning person who respects democracy, I'll have to reluctantly say congratulate to Donald Trump and his supporters. I will give Trump a chance for the next 4 years and it's possible that I will admit that I'm wrong on this country being screwed. I said this country would be screwed with Hillary as well. I seriously do want you and the Republican congress to stay away from the Weed in California. Importantly, I'm very happy that this clusterfuck of an election is finally over. Also #DaveRubin2020 |

I never agreed with calling people bigots and racist for no reason, but when something really happens we should all speak up, no matter if it personally affects us. We shouldn't shut up out of fear. And yes, sexism and racism is something that should matter to everyone, just as any other issue that is damaging to a certain group. |

As a native born Californian that is Mexican/Filipino with strong ties to my Spanish Ancestry, which my family was started over a Millennia ago by rulers of Spain and even housed Kings, I must say that I was against Trump from the start as a Latino. I took offense to his words. I donated to Bernie Sanders and obviously voted for him. Clinton was full of sht from the start. All of the crap that they gave Bernie and his supporters and laughing as he lost the primaries, well guess what. LOL Get Rekt. I couldn't and did not vote for either Clinton or Trump in good faith and conscience but I was still leaning more towards Trump because what's another white guy like him in America? Nothing new? What's Clinton? Nothing new but this broad is full of lies and corruption. Plus California is still a Majority Latino State and that won't change who I interact with on the ground level. Again, Clinton with her cocky attitdue laughing on Camera saying she is going to win, Get Rekt. Along with any fool that voted for that broad in the primaries and that was talking trash to Bernie Supporters. I'll say it again, Get Rekt. Happy Holidays! haha |
