| Thorkell was insane! He literally turns into beast on the battlefield. His voice actor did an amazing job once again! :D Such a tense episode filled with action. I liked it. We could see a skirmish in the forest between two sides, more or less equal. That's different from a siege from the previous episodes. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed it, but I wanted to see regular melee battle on ground to see how is Thorkell's men (and him as well) potential on the battlefield with equal enemy. I can say I was satisfied and enjoyed watching the battle and Askeladd's fire trap. The animation was again pleasant to watch. Canute showed his face. He looks like a female, but I bet he's gonna show a lot of awesomeness later. He's Canute after all. ;p |

| At this point, it's just a game of patience for me, waiting for Canute to say something, anything. Just talk. I'm really interested in what Thorkell has to say and or show to Thorfinn, I feel like his interest in Thors' son might have him join Askeladd's side. That would be overkill but still welcomed in my book. |

| Just realised Thorkell is the same VA as Lion from Africa Salaryman lol. After watching Africa Salaryman I wasn't expecting two of the main VA's to show up in two of my following shows (Toucan's VA as Zenitsu in Demon Slayer and Lion's as Thorkell). Maybe the Lizard VA will show up soon too haha. |

| God,the scene where Thorkell told Thorfinn that Thors is the only one who is stronger than him was just awesome. On another note,the possibility of Canut(or smth like that) being a woman isn't all that surpising to me.I mean "he" had long hair so. |

| While the animation was really lackluster this episode, the confrontation between Thorfinn and Thorkell totally made up for it. I'm really curious about this Prince character now too. |

| Thorkell is an absolute beast! Carved through Ragnar's troops like they were nothing. Can't remember if I already said it, but the ED is so good, its just beautiful both the music and animation combined. I get feels watching it every single time. |

| I might be going to hell for laughing at that first bit about those Vikings dissing Jesus and comparing him to the likes of Odin and Thor plus that priest being a drunkard but I'd say it's worth it lmao Thorkell's an awesome villain! He's an absolute monster in the battlefield but at the same time, he's so jolly that I can't help but grin whenever he gets all excited especially when he finds out that Thorfinn's somehow involved in their mess. He definitely has that exciting vibe Goku has when he longs for a fight that will push him to his limits but on a more twisted level. Canute's finally removed his helmet and everyone's surprised about how feminine he looks. They finally felt the confusion I felt seeing him for the first time. I'm looking forward to seeing him as the cutest King of England soon~ |

In any case, by the time of Vinland Saga, majority of Norse nobility has converted to Christianity (King Sweyn is a Christian himself), and the religion has already spread across much of the population as well. In other words, the worshipers of Thor and Odin are already used to being led by Christians. I really wish I could press the 'like' button on this reply *-* |
| Doesn't really bring peace to mind knowing the only person who is stronger than Thorkell...is the now deceased Thors.. all hope on Thorfinn to get stronger. Prince face reveal could probably mean two things, its just a bishounen character...or we're dealing with a reverse trap here |

| This sure brings out what Thorkell is all about he's a one-man army Now Askeladd and his men set fire into the woods to distract the enemy his' ideas are always insane, The way Thorkell really handles each man just a second and they're dead really showed how he should not be messed with against in a fight Thorkell realized that Thorfinn is Thors' son and now he won't be pulling his punches around him anymore and he would look forward to their next fight, Now I really was convinced that Canute was a princess all along. |

| Welp, nothing more of a mood than just vibing and blathering about religions and shit with the man Thorkell, lmao they're hilarious as an independent army. Yooo Askeladd is third-partying on two teams, what is this battle royale? Lmao, but props on him for using the environment to his advantage, those shrivelled up old leaves are easy to burn, with some oil, it's easy to cause a chain reaction, burning everything to the ground including the enemies while also providing more cover for Askeladd and Thorfinn's operation. It's ht perfect strategy for them as the 3rd party. Thorkell meeting Thorfinn here to ask and praise his late father, Thors was actually quite wholesome. One thing for sure is that they don't hate each other, it's more of an annoyance on Thorfinn's part while the musclehead, Thorkell just want to fight. I have to say, the OST being played during the revelation of the Prince's face was fantastic, one of the best I've heard in this series. Also, a fitting soundtrack is used to reveal the surprisingly (not surprisingly) feminine looking Prince. |

| i already knew cnut (canute) was a guy, but only because i had previously searched up his character and got so confused on how he looked exactly like a female that i had to confirm it through googling. reminds me of a griffith number two, only this time an actual royal. i need more of thorkell talking to thorfinn, they should sit down during dinner or something. strange is the relationship between askeladd and thorfinn. thorfinn is being used by askeladd. askeladd uses thorfinn. yet they have a weird vibe between the two, almost careless guardian-like. |
| from some reason that ending didn't surprised me much, the reason for the "prince" mask couldn't be ever so clear lol. thorfin behaviour though was missing to me though. |
| I'm not a huge fan of Thorkell since he's so inhumanly strong that it turns the whole show more cartoonish. It'll be interesting to hear what Canute's gender is. I know some of the things that should happen if they follow history, but it wouldn't be surprising if an anime changes the gender of a historical figure or smaller events here and there. |
| Thorkell is such a fun character. The stakes are quite high but Thorfinn is not backing down. Also, Thorkell knew how strong Thors was and he knew about Thorfinn as well. Is that a prince or a princess? |

| Since his first introduction, Thorkell became such a funny and likeable character. But even with his seemingly overwhelming strength he admitted that Thors was even more powerful. Thorkell also didn't only knew Thors but also Thorfinn's mother Helga, which was quite a surprise. Hilarious to hear how they were talking about how weak Jesus looks compared to Odin and Thor and that walking over water is just lame magic lol. Laying fire was a smart move by Askeladd. It definitely prevented a re fight between Thorkell and Thorfinn. I'm honestly not too shocked about that ending. The prince always looked extremely feminine to me. so should be interesting to see if he's actually a she. |

| Geez Thorkell was a whirlwind of blades when he was fighting Ragnar men. Ragnar was the real idiot for giving away his location when the smoke was hiding them. I was half expecting Askeladd to kill Ragnar and the priest at the end. |
