| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, Hakone's spirit is just awesome. Looks like Midousuji is still eager to win all the way. It's great to see Sakamachi's team back in this with full action too. I thought the finale was a great finish to everything that build up to this point now. I'm rating this 9/10. Can't wait for next season this Fall! Jin is fucking awesome in this episode.  |

| SOHOKU!!! Wow, that was INTENSE!!! Hakone completely recovered! I enjoyed watching Midousuji losing his composure as he was shocked!!! Sohoku with that comeback. Onoda almost fell two times!!! Imaizumi is back to normal, Onoda sure is inspirational! Everyone pulls in Sohoku, that seems really awesome! A sprinter pulling in a climb :P A team that has each other's back, that is the kind of team Sohoku is!!! Midousuji still has something up his sleeves! All these intense bike battles, I can't see myself giving anything other than a 9/10. Can't wait for Fall!!! |

| Woah!! Did the season really end with that cliffhanger O_O NOOOOOOO!!! Was a friggin intense second half though :D Loved the bonds Sohoku has. The way they kept Onoda in. Damn! Poor him though. He technically pulled the whole team for the duration of the whole race. Even a stamina monster like him would die after that. Glad Imaizumi is back and was nice seeing Naruko and Tadakoro help in the climb since both of them did nothing the whole race and were still pretty much full power ^^ Midousuji's face when Sohoku caught up was lololol XD And was that post credit scene something from the 3rd day? The animation looked epic! And Manami vs Onoda vs Midousuji :O Should be epic! If I didn't know there was a S2 I would give an 8 but since I know then an easy 9/10 :D |

| This is just like the show to end on a cliffhanger, I was so excited to see how it would end, and now we have to wait 3 months!!! 10/10 show. Loved it from beginning to end, it always had me on my toes. |
| Awful way to end the season, in my opinion. It feels really incomplete, and I really wished it would've ended with a winner decided. Now when we come back from the season break, we're rushed into an extremely exciting situation; But the tension's all gone. |

| The tension wont be gone for me cause I'm gonna rewatch this episode right before I watch the 1st one of season 2. I can't believe how much I fell in love with a cycling anime. 9/10 can't wait for S2. 3 month cliffhanger still sucks though! |

| Good seeing Hakone recovering and forming their team again. Arakita calling Kinjou "stone-face" and Manami snitching at him afterwards. XD Midousuji's face was priceless when Sohoku caught up! Onoda's stamina is remarkable! Loved how Sohoku kept him in after he got exhausted. Nice seeing Imaizumi is back to his normal self. (^^) Cliffhanger ending with Tadokoro and Naruko drafting for the team while Kinjou and Imaizumi races against Fukutomi! Next season PV looks great with Midousuji vs. Manami vs. Onoda. Awesomeness awaits! 8/10 for now. Rating may vary after S2! |

| Onoda always has to carry the team on his back. day 1: he fell came back and pulled the team up the mountain day 2: has to pick up tadokoro and then pull the team up the mountain He might as well be riding by himself all 3 days, and he could probably place. I hope imaizumi will be ace considering he actually did nothing the entire 2nd day, so he should have enough energy. |

| I would love to hate this ending, but honestly it was so intense! I don't think I can wait until October for the second season! I only started to watch this anime a few days ago, but I go hooked! Am I the only one who had a mini freak-out when it just ended like that? Honestly, 5 more minutes! |

| I was pretty sure they wouldn't finish the tournament before the end of the season, but to leave it there right at the end of the race...ouch :'( |

| I knew they'd either end on a cliffhanger or rush the end of the race. This cliffhanger was even weaker than I imagined but it also didn't really have any good spot to end on. To those annoyed, there's no way they could have adapted the rest of the race without another episode or two. Also spoiler alert in the end clip..... Pretty good adaptation so far though. I do think the anime has been cheesier than the manga (the manga is a lot more intense and harsh. I personally prefer the art in it more). The 3rd day is incredible though so will be neat to see it adapted. |
| I really really loved Yowamushi when it was still in 2013, still really love the Sohoku chemistry and their rivalry with Hakone, but Midousuji really did a disservice to me (and some of the weird moves too...) Would they have ended this second day if they skipped the OP&ED? It won't, isn't it? That's a shame...:/ |
| And people thought NGNL was bad. This didn't even feel like an ending Lol I had a feeling the pacing was bad (500m sprint for 2 episodes!?) but I wasn't expecting it it be this bad ;_; Nonetheless, the show overallwas enjoyable |

| GOD DAMN IT. CLIFFHANGER. REALLY?! Gonna read the manga sometime later and I'll read up to that point lolol See you in October, blessed Yowapeda. 8/10 (still deciding if it's a 9) It was really good from the start but I felt like it kind of got a bit worse near the end. When I say "a bit", I really don't mean a lot but it lost its sports anime charm from before. I think the other characters like Hakone or even Midosuji (although we haven't even had his backstory ep yet) made the show not as strong as before. None the less, it was still great overall. |
