| I couldn't watch that one, gotta admit it's char design made me feel 'meh about it... Don't really like it when the girls (actually the author) try that hard. Talking about that kind of char design, of course i know most people will still find it sexy and entertaining. Not me though. But yeah, i watch ecchi cause it's entertaining. And sometimes i just don't mind (that's when it does not fit into the show at all). Though i think i can only enjoy it when the girls look cute. | No this thread requires someone who isn't dumbass. As someone who has a passing interest in Ecchi. I like to watch it because of the appealing character designs. Ecchi know how to rope you in with solid character designs. But lots of ecchi just stop there and don't try to do anything else. It will make you question why aren't these just full blown hentais too. Now the ones who try to do a little more end up being great. I feel ecch is a great sub genre that needs to be pair with something to really be at its strongest. That is why Ikki Tousen and Queens Blades got multiple seasons and Keijo is in the dumpster. |

IDK what magic Ikki Tousen did to get a second season considering how awful the first season was. Plus how is it that the first season of Queen Blade was okay, but got a sequel yet Queen Blade Rebellion first season was actually promising yet did not get a sequel. Now they just rebooting the series wtf. Don't get me started on Keijo, although to be fair Xebec did not have uncensored blu-ray, so screw them for failing their own show that deserved multiple seasons. |

Some do it a comedic sense where it's just supposed to be funny, some do it to provide some intimacy to a romantic relationship, and some just do it to be lewd, plain and simple.
