| I usually hat these kinds of episodes - when close friends temporarily part for whatever ridiculous reason just so we have some kind of drama. You always know they'll find back to each other in the end anyway. In this case, however, it was totally different and it was done beautifully. |

| I'm kind of disappointed that we finally see Reiko again and it's just Nyanko using her image. But it did a good job of explaining why Nyanko likes humans. The whole "even though they're weak they try to protect others" thing was a little cliche actually and that little girl was annoying, but the contrast between human behavior as he describes it here and his interaction with that other spirit is effective. They seemed to be on somewhat friendly terms but because they have a disagreement about the book, they get into a serious fight almost immediately. I get the sense that spirits live in a harsh, simple world where the strong always have their way. |

| liked this super chilled back, more SOL themed episode. lmao my guy Madara, what a character. Natsume's personal bodyguard that gets underpaid to shit, not surprised he drinks in his spare time xD. Still, found it hilarious he went with his female human form to get Natsume's friend to pay for his shit, fucking simps, intentional or not the misunderstandings with some of his phrasings were gold tier. Also found it super sweet he helped the poor girl out, the scene with her riding on his back in his spiritual fox form looked like a movie cover in itself lol. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| This was the funniest ep so far with the drunk and gluttonous Nyanko-sensei XD That lil girl is so precious. It also did well in depicting Nyanko-sensei's perception of humans. Also in the ep preview the way Nyanko-sensei said "five days?" made it sound like he was getting eager to get the Book of Friends, or rather he was afraid of Natsume dying. |
