| Believe it or not, this is actually the first anime I've watched while it was airing. Usually I hate watching any TV series during its season because I don't like waiting a week for the story to continue, but I love this anime way too much to wait and I'm so hyped! |

| If you pay close attention all the panels literally zoom in, out, sideways, etc. It's kind of weird, but I guess it works due to how carefree MC is. |

| It's unfair how authors tend to play the fate card in their shows most of the times. And I really like those works where appropriate choice is made at the end barring aside the so called destiny... If only I can give Megumi an embracing hug <3 She's too good to be wasted on someone <3 Wtf do they REALLY kick students out? Seeing how Soma and expulsion issue go together all the time, I find this scene baffling :v The Anthem scene was really funny tho xD |

| Setup episode to the Festival! Souma is doing well getting help from Houjou and the Nakiris XD Nice to see everyone else prepping as well, like the Aldinis, the dorm group, Ikumi and the don club, and of course Megumi joining up with Souma! However I have to say my favourite combination is Alice (and Ryou) convincing Jun to let them team up with Akira! I hope we get to see more of them their interactions were hilarious XD Let's see how well Souma does! All I can say is that as someone who can't handle spicy food (like at all), it's good to see him going in a different direction and challenging on the Chinese cuisine side, but not in the exact same dish. I doubt that they'll win, but I think they'll put up a good fight, especially since they lack manpower :P |

| Episodes with Megumi are always the best ones, she so precious and is great partner for Souma! :) And that anthem part was great too :D And it is also funny how Erina is always jealous of Hisako x Souma getting close, her getting flustered and tsundere are always great scenes :)) Wait.. is Erina voiced by Kanemoto Hisako instead of Taneda Risa now? Guess she did good job then because I didn't even realize that. Or it may be just the fact that she was already voiced by her in the OVA and that Erina was almost nonexistent in S2. Let's just hope that Risa would get better to voice other great animes cause she probably won't return to Shokugeki now (if to anime voicing at all). |

| Is his goal to win with selling more than one bun to each customer? Because obviously the other guy dish is way better and Souma is just a food stall snack also I am seriously disappointed that he made a spicy dish also and black pepper only? lol he should at least use habanero or something black pepper is mild for true hot pepper dish lovers I hoped he will do something to counter the hot spices of that other guy, something like combining what he learned from Hisako and Akira. If this wins then it is unfair... he must think of something better for next days... also after hearing OP and Ed for the second time I can say it is the worst OP/Ed from all season ;/ |

| The animation was bad several times in this episode and im not being excited about this arc. |

| While a lot of the ladies in Souma's life was able to help him out, Megumi's especially sweet for going as far as to decline working with her friends and classmates so she can help him with his food stand in every step of the way~ It's also interesting that Alice and Hisoko pretty much nailed the reason on why I find spicy foods so addictive when they talked about the essence of Kuga's spicy dishes. I wasn't able to put it into words until now but that's definitely how I feel when I eat Samyang noodles. It was very bold of them to set up a modest stand in front of a palace but that disparity might just make some people curious on what Souma has to offer. His first mode of attack does look promising, after all. |

| Another fun episode on a very, very tight budget. Good buildup for the next episode which should be nice and chaotic to see how Soma would stand a change against Kuga's massive ass restaurant booth with his buns. I like how Soma's booth is mobile, so he can get all kinds of areas to taste his dishes and build some anticipation for more, but still there's a LOT to do to just have a chance against Kuga's army and specialty. Nice seeing Megumi help him out too as well as Miyoko. |
| It's really nice see all students competing all each other again. This is one of the things that I like most in Shokugeki no Souma. Souma and Megumi again, yes another reason for I like this episode :) Alice, Akira and Ryo. Best trio ever lol |
