| Pretty decent final for this series I must say! While not the most unique and rather generic in general, it was still a lovely combination of harem, magic and slice of life! So all in all a pretty solid anime if you ask me! |

| Great ending, but Musaigen no Phantom World was disappointing. There are some good point, like the girls who are cute (REINA !) and beautiful animation as always with Kyoto Animation. I expected something better, the first episodes were not so interesting. |

| A complete waste of time. I can't believe I actually had any sort of expectation from this series just because it looked like it might be good. The entire cast of characters are built upon cliches and stereotypes, from their character design, right down to their personality, their reaction to certain event, and their action. What disappoint me the most is the fact that KyoAni has fallen so much. I heard that the disc for Musaigen didn't sell well, and I am glad, because they seriously have to actually try to write better than their usual typical fare, this was straight trash. Kyoani is well known for its great animation, but sometimes I feel that they overdo the animation of the series, for example the hand-movement, a very typical of kyoani-type of movement, it's like they just copy it from their previous anime and insert it in their current anime. Their character design is also very uninspired, and the longer I look at it, the more I get irritated. The original model for every character is the same, for every anime kyoani has put out recently. If this is how they are gonna roll from now on, I am so not looking forward to the adaptation of Koe no Katachi. The characters, especially the beta male, has a same personality of another beta male protagonist of another series done by kyoani, that's really unbelievable. Do the writers even have to try to write something good anymore? I could have written something better than that. The fanservice on the girls was distasteful. The harem was terribly soulless. The story/script was terribly pretentious when they tried to apply Schrodinger's Cat and whatnot. I couldn't sit through a minute of this series without cringing and face palming myself. Needless to say, if there was a second season, it's definitely not worth the watch, now that I have actually finished the first cour. What a waste of fucking time on this zero effort trash. |

Pokemon Battle was the best part XD. Wish they found a way to make it go on longer though. |

| Albrecht with the skills XD and that Cthulhu could have soloed everyone there, damn :O Ruru was born from haruhiko's loneliness and got his repressed personality. Everyone gets their abilities back and Haruhiko finally reunites with his mom :'( Enigma was just following nature's instinct :'( 8/10 I want a season 2 where she comes back and fights everyone again with all the other half phantom/humans and not what the novel turns into. |

| Now that I think about it, Ruru's wearing something what a female Aladdin would wear. Well as for this show as a whole I do think it's good but it's barely at 7 in my score so yeah. It's kinda boring at times but it's not really a complete waste of time. |

| First mom wincest and now selfcest. Is there any new ground left for this show to break? Mai looked like she wanted to at least have Haruhiko's second kiss. Doesn't matter though, because she'll probably win in the end. Why couldn't the rest of the show have been as good as these last 4 episodes? | Loved the ending and the fact that Enigma admitted that she enjoyed her time with Ichijo overall I will give it 7/10 it was enjoyable enough and some feels were attached to the story made better for my liking. |
| So it ended in the usual way, the protagonist doing most of the work and the supporting cast helping. Though I guess there aren't many other ways to end a show. Overall it was okay, the animaiton and art were beautiful and the characters were likable. Though the story did not manage to really go anywhere and some episodes were just boring. 6/10 |

| Coming for Mai, staying for Mai. They did well with last 2 episodes despite all other eps are kinda.. plain boring (esp the loli one). Still I don't hate this show, 7/10 for Mai and animation quality. |

| Okay but the plot twist? Nope. Also, the anime was pretty different from the light novels right? Character wise and stuff. Also the whole episodic nature could have been good (like Saiki K. or Natsume Yuujinchou or something) but I mostly found it boring. I was like "??" and also "zzzz" haha. Should I cry about wasting 5 hours of my life on this? Nah I've watched worse anime. I think it had an interesting idea, but the execution could have been better. Also I better stick this into my anime review. |

| I liked this a lot. I haven't read the LN and I had basically no knowledge about the show, plot, setting or whatever besides knowing it's about school kids fighting phantoms (and Mai's limbo dancing scene from a compilation video on Youtube), so I didn't feel any disappointment that KyoAni apparently did a original take on the story. Lot's of asspulls though, but that's kind of what I expect from anime anyway. Also, Kurumi-chan getting some confidence! Determined and ready for action!  |

| So Haruhiko's current husband just showed up and gave him a book that supposedly was his favorite one, Albrecht is a talented phantom I must say if he can do those tasks This turned out to be a serious episode as the finale and that was a good idea to end it off with an intense battle Damn that kiss I didn't anticipate that happening that they can take powers as well, That was a nice way to end off the season glad that happened in the end for a more intense dramatic last fight This was a good season but not very content-rich in the story this seemed off as a loose potential that it had since there was no visible progression in the story a very usual everyday task that they had to handle but damn the animation was so good in contrast and this was fun to watch as some might say and I enjoyed it. |

| Typical ending. So the only girl he properly kissed of his own will in the end was the fairy form of his repressed personality. Sorry ladies, he's taken. Wasn't expecting to like this series at all, yet episodes 4-7 ended up being quite enjoyable. I avoided it all these years thinking this would be a totally soulless, desperate attempt to cash in on a trend, and while it kinda was, Kyoani clearly had a fun time playing around with the settings and the color design is top tier. Them keeping the fanservice to a minimum was much appreciated, else I might not have been able to finish. It wasn't as much of a slog to get through compared to Munto at least. Will never forget the loving Sylvanian bunny parents who almost convinced Mai to end herself. |
| Well that was weird but the fight looked great with this animation... fuck this mother that abandoned him this is not forgivable. The anime had some good and bad moments overall, though the ideas and animation were mostly good, I would say it was still a decent experience overall but underwhelming for a KyoAni production |
